Ellenor floated back through the crowd alongside Morta. "Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. Your doing just fine so far." She split off towards her throne, lying casually across it. The mortals had calmed down a bit, pulling themselves out of their stupor. She couldn't help but be excited. Receiving the offering was definitely the best part. What would she get? Surely a mortal, she almost always got one. Maybe some jewelry, or perhaps a star piece... She pulled one of the wish tags off her throne, reading it quickly. It had apparently been written by a child, as all it had was a picture of a dog. She giggled, glancing out over the crowd. There they were again. The Zoroak from before. They seemed to be talking to her offering group. She wondered what they could be up to, but was soon distracted by her wish tags.

Vennidal stood sourly with the Groudon offering group. She was supposed to be given off against her will and they didn't even bother to show up? She flicked her cigar butt to the ground, extinguishing it with her heel. She hated being stood up. Glancing around, she spotted Rayquaza's offering group. They didn't seem to have someone to offer, and many carried worried expressions. Her group just seemed bored, as if they didn't expect Groudon to show up at all. Moving quickly, Vennidal slipped away from her group and moved to the other. "Hey." She muttered softly to them. "Looks like you could use someone as an offering. If much rather go with Raquaza than Groudon, so just play it cool, k?" The men and woman sagged with relief, back looked forward as if nothing had happened.

Ellenor watch Andra as she sped through the crowd. She only just had time to wonder where she was going when the goddess punched a drunken man in the face. Morta instantly stormed over and began threatening the man with death in her voice. "Dear Arceas, what on earth is she doing?!" Hopping up, she took to the air, speeding over the heads of the mortals. When she reached the goddess, she noticed a frightened looking girl leaning against a wall. Her knee was pretty badly scraped and she seemed panicked. Another woman seemed to be trying to console her. It didn't take a genius to figure out what had been happening. "Got to give Andra props on this one. I doubt anyone would have noticed without her." Ellenor hovered just behind the man, blocking his backwards stumble. "You sir, have made a very poor decision today. Assaulting someone who is obviously an offering? Very poor choice indeed." The air around the man pulsed for a moment, before she shoved him towards the exit. "Leave now. And I'd steer clear of thunder storms from now on." She turned to Morta. "I understand you are angry, and justly so, but your frightening the mortals. Any other day and this wouldn't be a problem, but not today. Calm your rage and let's get on with this thing

(@Houndoomite if the person my mortal is supposed to be with doesn't show up then I would be happy to pair her with Andra)

Pushing herself off the post, Vennidal turned to look at Hazer straight on. "Take care of the flock for me. Don't let this family fall apart." She turned, walking towards the distant thrones. "I will boss. See you on the flip side!" And he was gone. She sighed, wondering if they would ever meet again. She wasn't entirely sure what this offering thing entailed, whether she would be allowed to leave, or even contact her flock. No sense worrying though. She would just handle the problems as they came. She moved through the crowd, a thin cloud of tabacco smoke following her. She stood with the crowd as the death goddess spoke. She was a bit confused that Groudon wasn't there. Wasn't that the one she was supposed to be for? She noticed a woman clad in green, imposing and beautiful. Rayquaza. Now there was a goddess she could kick it with.

Ellenor sat cross legged on her throne, propping her head up with her hands. She had actually gotten Morta to smile so that was a plus, and several other gods and goddesses had arrived. Her happy attitude faded slightly at the sight of Andra flying in. She had never liked the "Hoenn Titans" as they were called. They were much to... Raw for her taste. They were gods of primal forces, uncontrollable and savage. They gave Hoenn a bad reputation, as if it were a place to be feared. Andra was better, usually trying to keep her siblings under control, but still... She shook it off. This was a day for celebration, not old grudges. Her eyes scanner the crowds, when she noticed a rather pretty Zoroak staring at her. Something about them... She felt familiar with them, even though this was the first time she'd ever seen them. Her attention was drawn away by Morta's voice, telling everyone to settle down.

Selinia's thought glazed over, ignoring the conversations going on. Sure she would love to tear this "Kai Parker" a new one, but that wasn't really her style. Besides, by the look on Sally's face she was about to do it for her.. The woman's face was a mask of barely controlled anger, her fists clenched tightly. Selinia's attention was drawn away however, by a odd hallway leading out from the left wall. Moving closer, she peeked around the corner. Just a hallway. She didn't what she had been expecting. A horror movie style jump scare? Bloody walls? Shaking her head at her own imagination, she walked quickly down the hall, pulling open the first door she came to. Nothing but dusty furniture and books. She moved to the next one, and her eyes widened in surprise. Guns lined the walls, with boxes of ammo littering the floor. Directly across from her sat a corpse, rotting against the wall. She wasn't interested in it though. She was interested in what it was holding. The decaying hand cradled a truly massive double barreled elephant gun, at least four and a half feet end to end. She picked it up, prying away to stiffened fingers. It seemed in near perfect repair, with only a few scratches along the handle. She studied the strange markings, suddenly realizing that they formed a word. "Preacher."

Karl put a hand on Sally's shoulder, preventing her from beating Kai to a pulp. He gritted his teeth at the sulfa powders sting, but managed to speak anyway. "Kid if you keep acting like that, I'm either going to leave you hear or Sally is going to shoot you. You not only seriously injured this woman, but you nearly got us killed. If you keep pulling stunts like that, we'll have no chance of making it out alive." He turned back to the others. "Now for your questions. I'm assuming that you are all from some other point in time, judging by you strange outfits. I don't know why you've never heard of all this. Perhaps the government decided that keeping the zombie apocalypse secret was better than global panic. As for a crowbar, I wouldn't know. Some of the zombies carry them. You could take one from them. Anyway, an explanation. I'll give you the short version. Hitler used some kind of ancient demonic artifact to call forth an army of the dead. It was his last ditch effort to win the war. Luckily, we were able to contain the hordes within Germany. Sally and I are what's left of an elite sniper strike team, attempting to infiltrate Hitlers "Hell Mouth" bunker and destroy the artifact."

(Sorry for the wait guys)

Ellenor slipped quickly through the crowds, as the angry shouts followed her. The mortal were so cute when they got angry! She had been wandering the crowds, in disguise of course, talking and laughing with the sea of faces. She had played games with some of the children, gossiped with a group of mothers, and even beaten the village drunk in a drinking game. Mortal alcohol had never effected her very much, so it wasn't even a challenge. That was when she found the men. A half dozen of burly males were sitting in rickety chairs, playing cards on an old oak table. One of them even had a small totem in her image, a flattering gesture to be sure. Of course she couldn't pass this up! The men were skeptical at first, but they eventually dealt her in. They were probably expecting to make a quick buck off her. Six games later, their purses were considerably lighter, and their tempers were rising. The biggest man stood, accusing her of coning them out of their "hard earned money", and that was all it took. She bolted, a massive smile on her face, and six angry brutes on her tail. Giggling, she lead the men through the crowds, closer and closer to the semi circle of thrones built for her and the rest of the gods. She slowed her pace slightly, allowing the men to catch up a bit. She didn't want them to lose her, not after all the fun they had been having! She spotted Morta, her face a mask of gloom, already sitting at her throne. "She really needs to get a mortal this year. Someone cheery, to counter that never ending depression she always seems to give off." Ein and Akash were there as well sitting beside each other. She felt a strong hand grip her shoulder. She had gotten so distracted by Morta and the others that the men had been able to catch up to her. They surrounded her, their eyes filled with anger. Glancing around, Ellenor realized that they were only a few yards from her own throne. It was covered in gold leaf, with constellations carved intricately across it. The back of it was a four pointed star as well, with a large eye in the center. She smiled at all the wish tag people had hung on it, excited to read each and every one of them. She turned her attention back to the matter at hand, glancing at the large man holding her. He did not seem as amused as she was. Ellenor gave a small pouty face. "Now that's no way to treat a lady!" She dropped her disguise suddenly. "Or a goddess." Needless to say, the men were surprised. All of them dropped to their knees, begging her to forgive them. She giggled. "How could I be mad at you guys? You sure know how to show a girl a good time!" She flicked her hand, shooing them away. "Go on now, I have the feeling that this year is going to treat you fellows well." She turned as they scuttled off, hopping up onto her throne. She gave Morta a friendly wave, not really expecting her to return it.

Vennidal leaned against a wooden post, her face clouded by cigar smoke. The idea of being married off to one of those "gods" had originally disgusted her. It wasn't as if she had a choice, but still. All her life she had expressed her hate of them, and now she was being made to marry one. Ironic to say the least. She took a long puff of her cigar. She was becoming used to the idea. It could be worse after all. If you had to be married off to someone, Groudon wasn't to bad. Who knows? This could turn out to profitable. Nobody ever said she couldn't keep in contact with her flock. Just then Hazer, her right hand man, leaned against the post next to her. Hazer was smooth talking Cacture, able to get the job done when it counted and one of her oldest friends. "How you doin?" He asked, pulling a flask out of his shirt pocket. "Not to bad." She responded. "Just being married/sacrificed off against my will to a goddess. No big deal." Hazer nodded, taking a large swig of whatever was in the flask. "Yeah. This really blows ya know? It's goin to be a lot harder ta pull of anything big without you." Vennidal smirked, giving the man a pat on the shoulder. "In sure you'll do fine. Just try to keep me informed. I'll do what I can to help you guys out. Family looks out for each other, right?" Hazer looked at her, a genuine smile growing on his face. He gave her a side hug, taking another swig of liquid. "Right."

(Dreamscape's POV)

I fluttered around between Aurora and Kaden. "DO NOT get involved Kaden. Vannister already doesn't like you, and interfering will only make that worse. Also you have more pressing matters to tend to." I turned quickly to Aurora, noting how upset she was. "It's fine sweetie, it's not your fault. You had no control over this. But you do have control of what happens next."[/img] I couldn't help twirling in excitement. Everything was happening so fast and I loved it! [img]"Kaden wanted to catch you right? So why not let him? Come with us and you won't have to worry about arranged marriages anymore! Even if your marriage to Roland is cut, your father is going to try and make Sky marry you now. The only way out is being captured!"

(Emily's POV)

Dream was talking with Kaden and a distraught Aurora, but had conveniently left me out of the conversation. I turned back to the fight. Jasper had blocked the other Gallade, leaving only Sky and Roland to fight. I couldn't help cheering, despite the scathing looks of the Pokemon around me. "GO SKY! KNOCK HIS EYES OUT!" I kept my eyes glued to the fighters, growing obvious to everyone around me. Their arm blades cracked and sparked in the dawn light, creating a hypnotic effect. I began to sway slightly at the sight, completely enthralled. My trance was broken suddenly when Roland kicked sand right into Sky's face. "CHEATING BASTARD!" I spat, though a smile was still plastered on my face. I moved to the edge of the fight circle. "Skylark, Imprison!" Thick chains made of psychic energy shot from Sky's eyes, binding Roland in place.

(Vannister's POV)

I stood before my helpless for, watching him cower. "Who's the worm now Roland?" *Smack! Bam! Whack!* My blade connected with his head several times. "You're nothing back a whiny little lilipup, crying to get what he wants. Your not fit to lead anyone." *Crack!* That one had caused a bit more damage. A thin line of blood trickled down his damaged face. I lifted him by his throat, holding him close to my face. "Take your men and leave, before you make an even bigger fool of yourself." A sharp knee to his gut accompanied my words, before I tossed him aside. A few of his men slipped by Jasper, but ignored me. They lifted their leader, carrying him back towards the village. I glanced over at Emily, who seemed pleased. Something else was there though... Was it worry? I shrugged it off. It was probably a trick of my mind. I walked quickly to her, and she pulled me back to the rest of our group. The crowed had gone dead silent, as they watched me. Several Gardevoir where tending to the chief's minor injuries. I remained quiet, not sure what to say.

//FALLS THROUGH SKYLIGHT//

Name: Ellenor Jirachi
Age: As old as the stars
Gender: Female
Species: Jirachi
Appearance:
Show hidden content
Goddess Form:

Pokemon Form:

Personality: Ellenor is a... tricky goddess to pin down. She can be the kindest and most generous creature you ever met! She can, however, be one of the cruelest goddess out there. She absolutely adores mortals, seeing them as cute little things that shower her in praise and gifts. I mean, what's not to like about the goddess of luck and wishes? This has led to her growing a massive ego, thinking of herself as somehow better than the other gods. There is only one thing that matches her arrogance, and that is her fierce loyalty and care for her mortals. Even if they are meant to be grooms, she doesn't see them as romantic partners, but rather an "apprentice" of sorts. Someone to teach. Someone to learn from. A true link to the mortals she loves so much.
Abilities: Although she has all the expected powers of her species, I.e. Flight, psychokinetics etc, her unique abilities are a bit more grand. She holds sway of luck itself, both good and bad. This power stems from the Serene Grace ability, which certain other species posses as well, to a lesser degree. People around her tend to win competitions, have sudden windfalls of cash, or even have better love lives. Though she is usually rather generous, she does still have the power to give bad luck as well. Those who anger her usually end up rotting in some god forsaken slum, their lives ruined simply by bad luck. A word of caution to you, don't ever gamble with her. Her second ability is a bit more... Complicated. She grants wishes. As far as can be seen, she has no limits to what she can grant other than her own whims. She doesn't just hand out wishes though. Generally she will grant one, and only one, wish to her mortals. Using her wish power is very draining though, requiring her to rest for many days after.

Name: Vennidal Krakalenge
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Species: Honchkrow
Appearance:

Personality: Well for a start she absolutely despises the gods, seeing them as petty and childish. She resents them, feeling that all of her personal problems are directly related to them. Having run an organized crime ring for years, she understands the rules of power and control. Hate is her butter, and sarcasm is the knife she spreads it with. However, when it comes to her flock (aka Crime ring), she could not be more devoted. Everything she does is for the benefit of the flock. If you were to ask any of her group (assuming they hadn't already broken your legs) they would tell you how nice of a person she actually was. Polite, caring, loyal, completely against needless killing, and more. Besides her less than legal activities, and her pension for cigars and fine wine, she would be considered a solid, upstanding citizen.
Abilities: Though she is incapable of true "flight", she can jump very high, and glide to the ground. If she is high enough, she can remain airborne for extended periods of time through this gliding. She's wicked strong as well, able to break legs and walls without to much effort. As she fights, she tend to gain power, each hit making her even stronger. This effect is not permanent though, dissipating as she cools down.

He nodded at her suggestion. "I should be able to make it there if we go slow." He glanced back to her face, noticing the worry in her eyes. Her face had gone pale as well... Why? Vannister followed the woman's gaze, spotting what had caused her such distress. "Shit. S-Sorry about that. You weren't supposed to see that." He forced his body upward, standing shakily. He took a few steps before falling to his knees again. "On second thought, could you find me a branch or something against?" The bird had seemingly disappeared. Nothing he could do about that. The sound of rustling leaves came from behind him. He looked back to see the face of a truly massive Dire-Wolf staring at him. The thing must have been at least six feet tall! His first thought went along the lines of, "oh f*ck." After the initial shock all he could think was, "why are we not dead yet?" The beast crept forward, it's coat a gleaming black, almost unnaturally so. It's red eyes were locked with his, as it stopped inches from his face. So this is how it ends, huh? Devoured by my own forest. Truly poetic. What Vannister expected was a snap of jaws and the fires of hell. What he did not expect was for the beast to pick him up by his shirt collar and begin carrying him in the direction of the cave. The wolf glanced back at Nathana for a moment, giving her a small "follow me" snort before continuing its trek.

Vannister couldn't help the annoyance sparking through him at Shiver's condescending words. "What does he think I am? Some sort of mindless animal?' He had never really gotten along well with many of the team, for this exact reason. They treated him differently, feared him even, simply because of his abilities. He sighed. He could certainly understand why. Genocide was simply to volatile to trust. That was the reason he insisted on people using his real name, rather than that ridiculous moniker. He turned a scathing look onto Shiver. "I am perfectly capable of controlling myself Ethan. And I am not Genocide. I am Vannister, and would like to be treated as such. I'm sure you can extend me at least that curtesy." He turned back to the man, hearing Ricky's request that they leave, and the Stupid Little Man's remark about them being "children". Wow this guy was asking to get hurt. First he threatens their friend, then insults them? Didn't he understand that nearly everyone here had the ability to kill him in a second? Vannister's couldn't help but drooped slightly at Ricky's use of the Demons name in place of his own. No one really seemed to care about his request. They should know by now how much he hated his association with the Demon. He felt something tug on his sleeve. Vennidal. She pointed at the woman leaning against the wall. "The optically impaired female requires medical attention." Glancing over, he heard Tara yelling at him. "That girl... From the way she talks you'd think her word was law. So bossy... At least she uses my real name though."

He shook off the negative thoughts. There was work to do. He moved quickly over to the injured girl, crouching in front her. "Looks like you've been having a rough day, huh? Sister gave you some anesthetic I assume?" He pulled a small pair of glasses out of his shirt pocket, inspecting her wounds. He paid the most attention to the wound in her thigh. "Well it might not seem like it, but you got pretty lucky today. The shrapnel very nearly hit your femoral artery. A few millimeters to the left and it would have been lights out. Though I do wish you would have waited to pull the metal out." He gave the girl a warm smile. "Even so, I'll be able to fix you up no problem." Glancing over his shoulder, he called to Ricky. "My medical supplies are inside. Perhaps it would be best if we went inside while you two talk out here?"

(Just in case I didn't make it clear in my form, Vannister is a doctor)

Selinia ran as quickly as she could, though Karl severely hindered her movements. Something exploded behind them, and shrapnel whistled past them. The long piece of metal stabbed into Serena's arm, causing her to cry out. Sally threw angry words backwards, but didn't stop moving. "There it is!" Karl shouted, pointing down the street. A crumbling building sat at a T intersection. On the face of the wall a large white smile face had been painted. A short flight of stairs lead down to a hefty looking steel door set in thick concrete walls. They had almost made it! She could here the horrible scratching getting closer, as the skeletons gained on them. Suddenly Kai rushed up, grabbing Karl's legs. He was probably attempting to help, but only succeeded in causing Selinia, Sally, and Karl to fall to the ground. Selinia scraped her elbows on the rough cobblestones, as her life flashed before her eyes. "This is how it ends then? Eaten alive by a million skeleton freaks? Her ears filled with the sound of clicking teeth, as she waited for death. She was suddenly jerked to her feet, practically dragged down the street. "Come on! We have to move!" Karl pulled her forward, his face contorted in pain as he ran without assistance. Sally backpedaled, firing rounds into the swarm. Each shot passed through several of the strange blue hearts, holding the wave back if only a little. The three crashed through the safe room door, Karl immediately falling to the floor. The beasts were only a few feet from Kai who was at the back. Selinia stared in shock as Sally slammed the door shut, crushing a skull that had tried to enter. They had made it. Barely.

Karl raised an eyebrow at the man with the knife. "I'm not sure what you just called us, but I'm going to assume it was an insult. Clearly you don't understand who we are and what the situation is. Firstly, we have no plans to shoot anyone here." Sally scowled at Kai. "Maybe make exception to you." She says in broken English. Karl continued. "Your friend is right though. We need to move. Quickly." He gestured to his leg. "Hopefully there will be some medical supplies at the safe room." A thought crossed Selinia's mind, making her want to move away from the injured man. "Wait. You got bitten!" Karl gave her a confused look. "So?" Selinia was still freaking out a bit at this point, though Karl's calm tone confused her. "So doesn't that mean you are infected? Aren't you going to turn?" Sally shook her head. She spoke rapidly in Russian, while rolling up her sleeve. Three distinct bite scars stood out against her pale skin. "These zombies aren't made by a virus, so you won't be 'infected' by a bite. You can get a pretty nasty infection if you don't clean it up, but it's the same with all open wounds." He gave them a Lin overly wide grin and a thumbs up. "I am 100% not turning into a zombie." His fake enthusiasm quickly faded, as a sound began to echo through the streets. "Click... Scratch... Click... Scratch..." Sally threw Karl's arm over her shoulder, urging he and Selinia forward, while yelling and beckoning for them to follow her. Selinia looked back for only a moment. She wished she hadn't. Only a few block down creatures swarmed out of every alley, backstreet, and manhole. Some of the things even clawed out of the ground itself. They were horrible, pale white bones glittering in the gaslight, strips of flesh hanging off of them, and a bright blue heart in the center of their chests. They were like cockroaches, scuttling along the street and across the walls. As they moved they snapped their jaws open and shut, sounding even more like a horde of insects. Selinia turned back, she and Sally practically lifting Karl into the air. "Run!" Karl shouted. "Follow us to the safe room!"

(@Charizard Don't worry about the length. Your post was plenty long. @Everyone Just in case you were wondering, you are not stronger than these zombies. You will almost never be in a situation where you can mow down a horde by yourself. That means you to Starlord XD. The soldiers may shuffle along, but they can move pretty fast when trying to grab you. Yes you can kill them, but if you aren't careful, you WILL be overwhelmed. So no stress m'k? >:-D)

Karl gave Serena a sheepish grin. "Sorry ma'am. It's just that women aren't usually soldiers. At least not here." The woman in uniform kept her distance, obviously wary of the group. Fairly reasonable under the circumstances. Sally recognized the woman's outfit as some sort of military uniform. She gave the woman a sharp salute. Karl shook his head at her before answering the woman's question. "Well ma'am, we're fighting a war currently. We are heading to a safe house now, and if you'd like to join us, I can explain more thoroughly. We can't stay here long though." His words were interrupted once more, this time by a man falling of a building. His gun slid noisily across the cobble street, stopping at Selinia's feet. He pushed himself up slightly, pulling his knife into full view.

In one swift motion, Sally swung her rifle off her shoulder, ending the movement with the barrel pointed squarely between the mans eyes. She shouted at him, probably to drop his weapon, as Selinia snatched the pistol off the ground. She looked over it's shiny silver surface. It wasn't an old time Webley revolver, a powerful gun for sure, though certainly not a fast one. Flicking the chambers open, she found that it was totally empty. Had this guy really tried to attack them with a gun with no ammo? She heard the man ask how he has gotten here, and sighed with relief. He was in the same boat as them. Karl sighed, pointing off down the street. She still pocketed the pistol. "I'm not going to stand here in the open and explain again." Selinia nodded, not wanting to be caught in a horde of zombies. She helped Karl begin limping in the direction he had pointed. "If you don't want to get eaten, follow me." Sally gave the man on the ground one last glare, before turning to follow them.

Sally took the hand, giving the girl an apologetic look. Swinging the rifle back over her shoulder, she returned to help carry Karl. The man nodded at the woman. "I'd shake your hand as well, but my arms are a bit preoccupied at the moment. I'm Karl Fairborn. This is Sally, and..." He turned to Selinia. "I don't think I ever got your name." "Selinia." She replied. "And based on your words, I assume you got dragged here as well." She gave the girl a once over. Pretty, if a bit old fashioned looking. Had they met in a bar Selinia would have definitely been hitting on her by now. Karl continued. "As to your question, no this is not a movie set, though I wish it were. I'll try to explain, but first we need to get to the safe house. Do you have any weapons?" They were then interrupted by another voice. Selinia turned to see another woman, thin with short black hair, a little way down the street. Farther still was another person, who stood out against the dark grey background. Her military digicamo was most certainly not meant for urban settings. Sally lifted a pair of binoculars, saying a single word in Russian. Karl's face looked worried, with a bit of disappointment sprinkled in. "Did this thing only bring woman?" He glanced at Selinia and the woman in green. "No offense of course."

Vennidal pulled back slightly at the girl gasp of pain. "You are hurt. Stay still or you will cause more bleeding." She blinked, the servos driving her eyes clicking quietly. "I apologize for having caused you discomfort. Please allow me to remedy the pain for now." Her hand contorted, it's pieces separating and rebuilding. Where her hand had been was now a syringe with a very thin needle. "Please remain calm. I am injecting you with a low intensity local anesthetic. It will relive you pain until my brother can see to you wounds." She quickly pressed the needle into her arm, then her leg, numbing the areas. Standing, she moved slowly across the street and into the field where Genocide was feeding. "I do not require Shivers assistance. He will not hurt me." Without any fear, she walked right up to the thing. It growled as she came closer, going so far as to swipe at her dress. She shot forward, and before Genocide could react, gave him powerful backhanded slap. The monster sat staring at her for a moment, obviously surprised. Then it began to laugh, if you could call it that. It sounded more like a hyena being beaten to death. As it laughed it shrank, it's skin lightening to human tones once more. A moment later, Vannister stood in the field, a bright red hand prim on his jaw, and blood dripping from his hands and mouth. He stretched, his joints popping as he did. His eyes wandered to the bloody mess by his feet. He sighed, moving back towards the rest of the group. He suddenly noticed the gun in the strangers hand. "What is it with people pointing guns at us today?" Increasing his pace, he stood beside Ricky. He made a mental note to apologize to her later for losing it like that. For now, he would just stand here and make sure she didn't get shot. His plan was to step in front of the gun if things went south.

Once she got closer, Selinia was able to get a good look at the mans injury. Even with the blood, she could make out the distinctive shape of a bite. Probably human. "Who the hell gavr you that?" She asked, putting one of his arms over her shoulder. His eyes held a rather scathing look as he noticed her apparel, obviously thinking she should be better covered. This confirmed her suspicion that she had been taken back in time. Her skinny jeans and tank top must have made her look like a hooker to him. He shook his head, then answered. "You obviously have missed the memo. It was a Zom- Soldier. It latched onto me before your arrival blew it off." The other woman rolled her eyes at the man, before saying one word in English. "Zombie." Selinia knew she should be more surprised by this statement, but she had honestly expected it. The headless bodies, the distant moans, the general apocalyptic feel. Definitely zombies. The man continued. "Names Fairborn. Karl Fairborn of the US Army Sniper division. And this is Sally. She is my female Russian equivalent." Sally gave him a sharp smack on the back of his head, as he chuckled. A voice called out behind us. Looking back, I spotted a woman in a green dress moved toward them. By her words Selinia knew that she must also have been dragged here. She was about to call back when Karl gestured for her to stay silent. She listened, trying to hear whatever had made him act like that. A saint wail filtered into her mind, growing louder by the second. Sally's face went pale, as something rounded the corner several blocks down. It moved towards us at an astonishing pace, and it was screaming. Sally dropped Karl's arm, pulling her rifle sight to her eye. Karl yelled at the girl to stop moving. Selinia was about to call out that, no, she should run as fast as she could towards them, when the rifle shot sounded through the air. Selinia saw the hair by the girls left shoulder pull back as the bullet passed through. The running thing suddenly exploded, shaking the street. "Nice shot Sally!" Karl cried, pumping his fist. The woman smirked, pulling out a small knife. She notched the back of her gun as Karl beckoned the woman in green closer. I stood with my mouth agape. These people sure had a lot to explain, because that thing was certainly not a zombie. "Are you alright miss?" Karl asked the woman.

Selina watched in horror as the world around her twisted. Cars and streetlights seemed to melt into a swirling vortex around her, and there was no way out. She tried to run but it was no use. She felt herself being tossed backwards, forewords and sideways through the chaotic mass of colors. She pressed her eyes closed, hoping desperately that the Alice in Wonderland drug trip would stop soon. A moment later, it did.

She opened her eyes, staring up into a cloudy night sky. No stars were visible through the dense layer. Pushing herself up, she took in her surroundings, startled by the sight. The street she sat in lay in ruins. The houses and shops looked bombed out and, and some were still burning. To her surprise, the street was made of cobblestones rather than asphalt, and old time gas lamps lined the sidewalks. Where the hell was she? That's when she realized. There were bodies everywhere. Rotting corpses, scattered bones, blood and organs running into the cracks of the street. Bile surged into the back of her throat, as she resisted the urge to vomit. She looked around again, hoping to see someone, anyone! A sound came from behind her, and she felt what she knew was a gun barrel on her back. A female voice spoke in some foreign language, and jabbed her with the barrel. Raising her hands slowly, she didn't know what else to do, she spoke calmly. "Please, for the love of god, don't shoot me. I can't understand what your saying, so if you have someone who speaks English..." The woman seemed to react at the word English. She spoke to someone else behind them both. Selina recognized the woman's accent as heavily Russian. She heard another voice, this time in English. "Well she obviously isn't armed so get her over here!" Selina took this to mean she wouldn't be shot if she moved, so she turned to look at the to. The woman, still with a rifle aimed at her, sighed. She was tall, much taller than Selinia, with platinum blonde hair stretching down to her upper back. She was... Beautiful in a rather sharp, angry way. Her face was pale and smooth, with high cheekbones giving her an arrogant look. The man lay a few few yards away, part way in a bomb crater. His leg had some kind of wound, and was bleeding badly. He gave her a pain filled smile, speaking through gritted teeth. "I'm not sure where you came from ma'am, and I don't know why the blasted artifact brought you here, but your here now. We need some help. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to survive?"

Selinia blinked at him. "Uhh, sure I guess. Not entirely sure what's going on, but I'm good with survival." The man laughed. "Yes aren't we all. Now if you would, I'll need help from both of you. We need to get to the safe room quickly. More soldiers will be on there way." Selinia stood, moving to help the wounded man up. She figured that she would rather help pull this bleeding guy to a "safe room" than get caught by whatever soldier he was talking about.

(So I didn't explain this very well in the sign up and I do apologize for that. We are all in the town of Frankfurt, which is a few hundred kilometers west of Berlin. You can come in close to Selinia and the others, or more scattered out if you want. However, none of you have anything on you except clothes and whatever was in your pockets. Backpacks, sheaths, and holsters, including anything else strapped to the outside of your body is gone. Don't worry, there are plenty of things lying around to use as weapons. Many of the zombies carry hammers, crowbars, and tools of the like anyway, so getting one shouldn't be to hard.)
