"No," Myst telepathically replied. It was much easier to establish a telepathic bond by starting small, with simple one-word thoughts, Matthew had reasoned, so whenever Myst would project something, it was recommended to be no more than 3 simple words for now, as any more or complex words would cause a blur in the reception, especially if the Pokemon was new to telepathy and/or new to their trainer. Myst sighed. Adron had moved toward a nearby tree, slashing at it, Toto was enjoying flying through the air, Asteria was... being Asteria? But there was one Pokemon he was concerned about, who happened to be right behind him - Pyra. The chick was trying to hide from the two Pokemon that had taken interest in her behind Myst's tails, so he had to take extra caution to make sure his tails didn't even graze the chick. Eventually, it got a bit tiring, so Myst turned around to face Pyra. 'Look. You eventually have to come out of your shell. Go talk to them!'

'B-but, what if they're mean?' Pyra whined, glancing at the two Pokemon.

'If they are, then I'll curse them,' Myst said, only half-joking. 'Come on, you have to make more friends!' Myst began lightly pushing the Torchic toward the Spoink and Cecilia, much to her dismay. 'Now, say hello!'

Pyra took a deep breath, before letting out a tiny 'H-hello...'

(Josie, that's kinda bunnying, if that's the term I'm looking for. Pyra is very timid and nervous, and she only feels comfortable around Pokemon that give off a relaxing aura, fellow Fire-Types, or anyone she's known for long enough.)

Pyra flinched at the sight of Cecilia and the Spoink bouncing up to her and she promptly hid behind Myst.

Matthew's smile grew wider (somehow) as he replied to Crescent. "Oh yeah, they're all great! Sorry if I'm being rude here, but I think it's really neat how strong your telepathy is! I've done tons of research on telepathy, but I didn't know telepathy came easily to Cresselia! Oh!" Matthew pauses to take out a notebook from his bag titled, "Telepathy and Pokemon," and began writing down something. He finished writing and continued talking, "Just filling out my notes here. Uhm, oh right!" He turned to face Lunara, grin still on his face. "I'd love to be friends!"

After catching his breath for a bit, Matthew grinned and look where the person who called him was. Realizing that she had moved, he turned around to face her. "Yup! The Professor had also called me over, but I was a bit late! I'm Matthew." He paused to take out 4 ordinary Poke Balls and 1 Dusk Ball from his belt, and tossed them out to reveal a Ninetales, a Scyther, a Mismagius, a Togetic, and a Torchic in left-to-right order. "These are Myst, Adron, Asteria, Toto, and Pyra respectively. What are all of your names?"

(two of my pokemon are tier 4)

Matthew was late, which was an understatement to say the least. After receiving his starter, a male Ninetales named Myst, he charged his way through Santalune Forest toward the group, catching a male Scyther named Adron, a female Mismagius named Asteria, a male Togetic named Toto, a female Torchic named Pyra. After a hard jog with some speed-walking breaks along the way, (His endurance isn't the greatest) he finally caught up with the group. The plan was to initiate conversation but...

"Haaahh..... Haaaah....
Haaahhh..." Turns out running doesn't transition very well into talking.
