(Sorry I haven't posted anything yet! Internet was down for a few days. My character's profile is on the first page of the thread if anyone needs a recap!)

Eden prepared herself to finally take the test to become a scout. She walked into the HQ's training room, her retractable scythe tucked away in the holster at her side. The room activated and began sending virtual enemies her way. She pulled her scythe out of its holster and pressed the button on the side, making the scythe extend to twice her height and the blade increase drastically in size. She smiled to herself, knowing this would be a piece of cake for her. The enemies came at her one by one, and she sliced them all with precision as she jumped from wall to wall. Once she had destroyed all the enemies the training room had to throw at her, she landed gracefully on her feet. The room deactivated and the higher ups at the HQ walked in astounded. Eden giggled at them. "So, do you think I have what it takes to be a scout now?"

History: Eden was thirteen when the outbreak happened. She was extremely close to her parents and her older brother, so she a lot of times feels lost without them. The vampires who claimed they would protect her abused her, and used her simply as a means to feed. When she escaped she vowed to herself that she'd kill every last vampire, so she spent years honing her skills in combat.

Akira gets bored of walking around outside, so she heads towards the library to find a good book to read. She starts to get a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach the closer she gets, though.

Akira enters the library, and realizes why she had such a bad feeling. She notices Lady reading to herself. Akira, unable to move, just stands there staring at her. She thinks to herself, "Who is that girl? There's something about her I can't put my finger on. I don't feel good about this."
