1: Just a note, but Mega Mawile and Swagger are banned in Smogon formats. I prefer to play by those, but if you don't want to, that's fine. Just wanted to throw it in there. 2: Don't run offensive Sableye. Its stats are subpar and its ability and movepool both make it good for defense rather than offense. Instead, you should run Attacking Move, Subtitute/Will-o-Wisp/Taunt, another aforementioned move, Recover. 3: Protect on Mawile is pretty pointless. It is decent for scouting things out, but it prefers to have Swords Dance, Iron Head, or Fire Fang, with the first move allowing it to tear through opponents' teams with easy and the other two moves helping it break through more walls (its main purpose if it doesnt have SD) because they help its coverage. 4: Don't quote me on this, but I think Rotom prefers to be used with Volt Switch over coverage with Shadow Ball. It allows you to use it as a slow, bulky lead to give you initiative over faster leads, but you have to be aware that if the opponent leads with a speciwl sweeper, Rotom could be a bad lead idea. 5: Throwing this out there, Pyroar isn't a very good Pokemon. But, if you want to use it, that's fine. I think Dark Pulse is better than Flamethrower for it for more coverage so it can hit more things harder, while Flamethrower's only upside on that set is to help it if it gets its Fire Blasts stalled out. 6: If this is a doubles team, don't listen to me at all when I say any of these, but if it's singles, Smeargle's only good set utilizes Spore and Stealth Rock and Sticky Web with a filler move in the back...like maybe Taunt? I dunno, but Smeargle doesn't really want to run anything else in singles. 7: Is Altaria an alternate Mega? Altaria's biggest purpose in singles is...I dunno, Dragon Dance and Cotton Guard sweeping without its Mega and Supporting or Sweeping as a Mega. If it isn't Mega, then I suggest you run Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Cotton Guard and Roost on it and if it is, then that set's fine. Note: Am I criticizing a bit too much? x.x [Read more] |

1- Don't run Speed investments on a Talonflame with Flame Body. The whole reason it's viable is because of Gale Wings and how broken it is. You should run that instead. 2- Don't run Focus Sash with moves that cause recoil like Flare Blitz and Brave Bird. Instead of the Focus Sash, run a Leftovers or Life Orb and instead of Steel Wing or Flare Blitz, run Roost. 3- Dragon Claw is weird coverage on Eelektross because it really only hits Dragon, wihich Hidden Power Ice can do better while also hitting many other common types (like Grass, Ground, etc.) and not leaving you stuck in a move you don't have many investments in. 4- Don't run Acrobatics on Eelektross. It's only really good on Archeops or maybe Talonflame. My suggestions for what to do instead is Giga Drain or Volt Switch. Giga Drain provides decent coverage while also healing some HP you invested in and Volt Switch can make Eelektross into a lead option so if your opponent runs U-Turn or Volt Switch on something fast in their first slot, you will have the switch initiative and may get yourself in a good position with, for example, a free Swords Dance with TFlame. 5- Though you have the right idea running mix Greninja, don't use Water Shuriken. It's pretty low in damage, even if you get all five hits, and Greninja is already fast enough to outspeed most things that aren't Mega. You should run Gunk Shot/Low Kick/Dark Pulse/Ice Beam with most of the investments in Speed (252) then SpAtk (174) then put the rest in Attack. 6- Don't use Substitute on Greninja. It's fast, meaning it will mostly get it up before your opponent does anything, but it's likely that the opponent will break it before you get to utilize it. Otherwise, it's a decent team. The route was pretty calm. There were now more people there now thst the parasitic kid was gone, but none were trainers. There was grass for training instead. (NOTICE - PCs don't exist here. You can't release Pokemon, so if you catch one, it's on your team forever) Pokemon on this route- Lillipup Patrat Rattata Purrloin Shinx Zorua [Read more] |

"these are under testing, so you are the only ones to have them." Ask took it and kept it colorless so he could change it later. Ask left that lab thinking about the mushroom parasites. How did they work, and what could be behind this? He just kept quiet and walked on to the next route. "I'm going to the Route 1, if anyone wants to join me." (We just fought a parasitic mushroom child) [Read more] |
