"Well-' I felt my face heat up. "Yeah, I play a bit. It's sort of a hobby, I developed it when I got into songwriting so that I could play my songs how I want them to be. Of course, I'm not very good at either songwriting or guitar, so sorry if this isn't the best. I wrote this song during this game, it was and is meant for you, sorry in advance in case it isn't very good." I took a deep breath and played a few slow chords, before launching into a slow strumming pattern.

You'd be gone"

I switched, now going slightly more complicated by switching back and forth between chords each line.

I started strumming faster, now doing a three chord pattern.

"But do you want me too
I lay awake and wonder

I switched back to my initial, slow pattern.

I’ll say no cuz if you knew
You’d be gone"

I dragged out the last word, before exhaling and opening my eyes.

I tried to think of a response, but nothing came to mind. Eventually I decided on something simple. "I am too." After pulling a book out and pressing a button behind it, I watched the bookcase slide partially open, closing once we were inside. I looked around, eventually eyeing my guitar. I was reluctant to let go of her hand, but eventually I did so I could pick up my guitar. "Are you ready for your surprise?"
