Taking a nervous breath, she stood, stretching her wings to prepare to start to fly. As Emiko was about to take off, a bird landed near her, startling her. Because of that startle, Emiko lost focus and slipped, falling off the tree branch. She fluttered her wings quickly, almost hitting the ground, but she ended up flying up. "I always attract unwanted attention from birds..." Emiko grumbled to herself.

Emiko sat at a tree branch outside U.A. Her wings twitched nervously as she watched the other students walking into the school. She did have to admit she was nervous, both because of being in a new place but also because Emiko worried people would think she was weak because of her small size due to her quirk. She winced a bit as she heard the loud calls of the others, a bit more sensitive to those noises than usual.

	He noticed a Staryu standing by itself, the crystal on its center glittering a bit from the lights. Alex approached it, smiling kindly. "How about it, you and me?"
