Mona looked at herself in the mirror when she was done, just before Athena came out. Her dress was a soft matte silk and tulle, dark blue and black that fit her bodice, as graceful and elegant as she was. Chains and stars adorned her top and skirt, a large necklace helping to highlight the sweetheart neckline. Her shoes matched her dress perfectly, and although the party wasn't soon, she did her hair in a messy rendition of what it would eventually look like when the ball began. "Okay, I'm done too! While the history professor droned on, Mona slipped out from her seat, kissing Kendo's temple and speaking quietly to him. "I agreed to do something with a friend. I'll be right back, darling." She gave him a warm smile and trailed her hand on his shoulder before she left the room, hurrying off to her dorm. She dearly hoped she wasn't late.
