	yea, i think it would be best to just send the pokemon to alola/galar region if the pokemon evolves by level up, then that's all you need to do by evolution item, have the pokemon hold it before sending them out to either region [Read more]

The reward for completing a shiny dex could just be changing your dex completion sticker with the shiny completion sticker, and then the legendary reward you get is the same but instead is a guarenteed shiny?

Like, the Mewtwo you get for completing the Kanto dex, and then a shiny Mewtwo for completing the shiny dex for Kanto?
If I remember correctly that Mewtwo is a guaranteed mega-able though, so probably don't keep it mega-able, same with Johto... or maybe keep it that way for Kanto! Like said in this thread, that's probably the hardest shiny dex to complete? Wouldn't really devalue anything as I don't believe you can trade or sell Mewtwo anyways lol.

	Agreed. Just displaying the Date/Time and then (X Years, X Months, X Days Ago) similar to how a user profile displays join date would make finding the date not a huge hassle or make you accidentally skip up by a day or 2. [Read more]

So, I had a Dream World task to catch a Pokémon on Route 53, and I checked said Pokémon's info page.
I caught a Heracross in an Ultra Ball but it shows a Poké Ball next to her name on her info page.
That led to this suggestion, which is pretty much just, well, "More Poké Ball Types Being Used" for info pages.

Currently, to my knowledge, only Poké Balls and Cherish Balls show up on info pages, but this could be expanded upon and really is just purely cosmetic, just a nice touch.

So, for example, since I caught this Heracross in an Ultra Ball, it would look like this.
This would also effect Retro and Shadow Pokémon, as they are caught through the same way.
Don't think it needs to be said, but Great Ball usage would lead to them being used on the info page.

A pretty big one would be Beast Balls. They're pretty much just advertised as the way to catch UBs, so having them just be in them seems pretty obvious.

Last three I thought of are pretty much just area centric.
Lure Balls for Pokémon caught from Emera Beach.
The primary use for Lure Balls are for on Pokémon you've fished up, so making any Pokémon you've caught from Emera Beach have them would make sense.

Safari Balls for Pokémon caught from the Safari Zone.
I mean, the Safari Ball is already being used as the icon for the Safari Zone.
In main line games this is the only Poké Ball you can use within Safari Zones, added onto that it's also what's shown to be used while catching Pokémon within the minigame on here, as well. Really just a Great/Ultra ball deal.

Sport Balls for Pokémon caught during the Bug Hatching Contest.
In Pokémon (Heart)Gold/(Soul)Silver/Crystal, the Sport Ball is used similarly to the Safari Ball, but only in the Bug Catching Contest.
While on PokéHeroes, it is the Bug Hatching Contest, I don't think that detracts from it pretty much just being the same event, so the Sport Ball should accompany Bug Hatching Contest Pokémon.

These were all the ideas I had that made perfect sense, but another that might make sense in a way is Luxury Ball for Pokémon bought from the Prize Exchange, but the Prize Exchange in main line games I'm pretty sure was just Poké Balls anyways so unless it'd just be some Emera custom to do that, probably not.

Yeah, uhm, I don’t know why you feel attacked over someone saying that Discord can alert people immediately of on-site things. There’s nothing on PH that can just send you a text message or email that “oh there’s a new update lol”, you just randomly check and oh there it is. Riako can just ping like “oh I have a new feed you should check on” or something of the sort, Discord isn’t going to destroy the use of PH.

You also said you don’t even use Discord? So I don’t know how you could hold the opinion of it being a bad thing.

	I mean, really just a hex code selector or two would be needed for this which would be neat. Only problem is that the berry garden is pretty underutilized currently but it’d still be a nice feature to have to make every booth more lively if there’s ever a reason to use them in the future. Hero Chat is officially dead, so I really don't see the issue with an official Discord server at this point.

It wouldn't overrule the forums, either, but people could more easily discuss stuff casually.
I don't think it would take over the Notification Wall, but I honestly see it more as posting a thing out to everyone like an Instagram post and rarely actual conversations do spawn from and continue in feeds at great length so.. eh.
PalPadding I don't see a big issue with, like, you're probably gonna dm someone on Discord instead of PalPad if you have their Discord, anyways. PalPad is a lot more of a "oh you're already speaking on-site" kinda thing.

Also the Facebook page is kinda dead, so the Discord widget could just replace its widget or go above it.

One big pro is a new announcement can be pinged to everyone with just a link to the forum post or the home page news post as well.
Another is that there can be a #trade-discuss or #battles channel to actually organize those things, whereas trading you can do that onsite easily, it'd just be easier to reach anyone instead of just people you have add, battling I always hear a bunch of people having issues with it.

Cons uh.. voice chat is pretty unmoderatable, you'd just have to have integrity if the whole PG13 rules are kept to the same standard on said server, but hopefully that wouldn't be a huge issue. Custom emotes from other servers can be disabled but.. that's kinda no fun, so NSFW ones could just be banned but ehhhhh.. That's a whole other topic lol.

Clicking one by one for Dynamax Crystals is pretty slow, as you could have a bunch of SC tokens and want to buy a bunch at once, here's a mockup for what it could look like:

And entering a different value would change the total token number.

Not much else to this suggest, except it's easier than clicking "exchange" and then scrolling back down to Dynamax Crystals multiple times in a row.

When I was posting about it (in my feed, obviously), I didn’t see the “etc.” part, but I have been aware about it while writing all this here.

My main point is that they were sorted with Galar Pokémon, which I feel is good enough reasoning to make the change. Obviously, I am just one person, this is just my thought over the matter. I’ve heard that the regional ‘dexes are just easier ways of labeling Gen 1-8/Site only/Mega(-ish) forms/Retro, which I think would’ve never been a problem until this. Yes, Meltan and Melmetal are Gen 7 (unless Gamefreak comes out and says they aren’t, but I don’t recall if they’ve ever acknowledge generations?), but they’re being sorted with Galar. Now, in the future when Galar isn’t the newest region, they could sort them into Alola or whatever the newest region is, maybe. But officially, they’ve been labeled “Unknown” and sorted with Galar Pokémon.

Another note that’s pretty unrelated, Melmetal does have a Gigantimax form, which I have no idea if that’d add anything to this, as I think G-Max’s would be sorted like Megas are, but- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

	That is the reasoning, but I feel it should follow this ruling now? Also it would help with site balancing anyways, due to there being like 894823 Legendary/Mythical/UBs in the Alola 'dex compared to Galars barely reaching 6 after the DLC expansions. [Read more]
