7 was sitting, using the trunk of a large pine as back support not paying much attention to 5’s yet another escape fail. After all the event was a regular. She had a hand cupped to her mouth as she whispered to the clouds. She always had a hand blocking her lips and she always whispered when talking to the weather so you couldn’t tell what she way saying. Whatever they talked about though, it made her grin wickedly. The sky spirits were her best (and only as far as she was concerned) friend. They talked daily.
Out of everyone, 7 probably knew the most about the outside she figured. The sky spirits would occasionally bring in stories of the outside world. Stories of giant buildings made of glass, people, and alien like places like mountains and deserts. From what she’s heard... outside sounded magical. Although she desperately wanted to see the wonders for herself, 7 trusted the masked man would let them out when they were ready. Besides, the community was her home. It was all she ever knew and the number ‘7’ was as much of a name as Buffy was. She doesn’t mind being called either, in her mind they are both names which are hers.

Personality: Distant and observant, she's often forgotten. Stammers a lot but what she lacks in people skills she makes up in independence. Usually is a "go with the flow" person and takes the neutral position, not helping one side or the other unless she's sure to benefit.
Ability: she can talk to the weather. It'd be a useful skill... if they (the 'sky spirits' she calls them) actually ever listened to her. They do sometimes for small requests, like closing a window or tripping a friend. Meaning she wouldn't be able to summon raging storms and winds without being REALLY convincing... which she hardly ever is. What she can do is swap some juicy tales or learn tomorrow's forecast however. Maybe she could ask the wind to spy on a friend? Who knows. Unfortunately when she does talk with the spirits it drains her energy, hence her being exhausted all the time. The more stressed or urgent the situation is the more stamina she uses (and this rate goes up QUICKLY) as when she's panicked she has a harder time holding a link with them.

She had watery eyes with sizable bags hanging under them as she struggled to keep herself from yawning every 2 minutes, and although physically she was exhausted she felt more eager and restless than she had in the past few weeks. Olya was a deep sleeper and didn't wake at first but after the rattle and knocking had gone on for quite some time she was up. She stumbled out of bed and quickly slipped on a pair of day clothes before rushing outside into the front room awkwardly as she was not completely awake yet. It seemed like she was about to tip over. "Wha.. wuhs going on..?" Olya mumbled while brushing her unkempt hair out of her face with a hand.

Olya was standing behind the other two while they made their inspections when the letter arrived.
“Darker plans than it seems? It’d help to have more detail.” Olya frowned and shook her head, “what are we even supposed to do with this?..”
She became silent as she thought over all the strange occurrences that had taken place so far.
It wasn’t a matter of believing the letter true or being too afraid to act for Olya. When your boss’s now-blind husband who can’t remember anything shows up after 10 years, the kingdom suddenly changes for the worse, plants disappear by magic, and now a mysterious figure slips a letter under your door.. you find it a lot easier to believe things, and Olya was never one to let opportunity to slip by. If she could change things she would. So without a doubt or any second thoughts, she was ready to kill a dragon... or the ‘king of shadows’... or whatever she had to do.

Olya stopped under Avari’s window and smiled back.
“Oh, well Ephenia sent me over to get your opinion.. you see there were a few plants restocked yesterday that have just gone... poof! Not even the roots left in their pots. Maybe you’d have an idea, being a forest-y person and all, as to why?” She paused for a moment before continuing, “you want to head back to the shop and discuss it there? Maybe you’ll see something we missed.”

Olya turned and dashed out the door and down the street in Avari's direction. Olya had visited before with directions from Ephina (maybe to deliver some seasoning for her venison or something, idk) so she new her way.

"Tazu maybe?" Olya said frowning. It was one thing for non-medicinal herbs to disappear the day after they've been restocked, but completely another when the entire thing is gone. Usually you'd just pick a plant right? Plus removing roots and all from the soil can be quite messy and time taking if you aren't experienced.
Or maybe that's just Olya overthinking and connecting dots that don't exist. She shrugs "That's really odd. Maybe we should ask Avari? I can go fetch if you'd like."

Olya was out in the front room watering some plants when Ephina spoke. Olya tipped the can back before looking up in Ephina's direction and shaking her head "No, I don't think so. Are we low on something? I can go out real quick to get some... however I do that."
Olya had always guessed that for the herbs that didn't grow in the shop Ephina had went into the forest herself to gather some, but now with the new restrictions that wouldn't be possible. This however was probably not relevant.
As for the changes that have been over these last few weeks, Olya despised them. This was not the king that she had known, but rather what felt more like an invasion. She was sure that this was only the tip of the iceberg, though she never showed her worries in her cheery demeanor. Trying to keep the mood from sinking into a murky gloom was all that she could do to rub off that terrible sense of foreboding which lived in her.
