Nephelle || Altaria Nephelle was a new explorer, locked up in a cave with her family almost all her life. she had been intrigued by the Mystery Dungeons and what mysteries they held, so once she was finally all grown up and free, she left her strict family to come to the Paradise Center. Swooping down, she spotted a lonely Dragonair slithering along the path. Perfect, maybe she can show me around! She thought. Nephelle landed a couple feet in front of them, chirping, "Um, hello! Eclipse || Espeon Shrugging, Eclipse shook out her ruffled fur before sitting down. "Well, whatever the cause, they're gone, now," she said, licking her purple paw to smoothen out the fur covering it. "We should have a battle sometime. I'd love to see some more of your skills." Tokko || Togekiss Perking up his red and blue ears, Tokko focused on listening about the mission, tilting his head to the side. "Another Starly?" He asked. "Man, they always seem to be getting lost in the Mystery Dungeons...but it's kinda hilarious if you think about it, right?" Letting out a laugh, he smiled at her. "Of course! I'm ready whenever you are!" The Togekiss didn't like thinking about the Rescue Missions as a job, but more as...a hobby, maybe? Either way, he got to explore new areas, get rare items and rescue Pokémon. It was a win-win-win! Then, when she called him a leader, he couldn't hold in a laugh. "Me? Leader?" He laughed again, then smiled. "I know it must seem like that, but I'm really not the leader. I wanted my partner to become it, for he's much more powerful than I am. Well, more leader-like material than a silly 'ole Togekiss like me, anyways." Taking a pause, he continued. "My- or, our leader's sort of...well, he seems cold-hearted at first, but I promise he's a really cool guy. You just have to warm up to him!" Eclipse continued to run, surprised at how fast an Octillery could move on land. She was definitely faster, though, and those Trevenant were catching up quickly. "What the hell are those Trevenant doing after you?!" Eclipse called, her tail flicking as she ran. Tokko || Togekiss "Yep! Tokko," he said again, nodding. "Thanks! It's nothing really special, my mom just thought it suited me is all. T for Togekiss!" He laughed, although he didn't admit it was a lie. He didn't like to lie, but sometimes he just had to. He didn't know who his mother was at all; waking up as a Togepi instead of a human on a beach and meeting a little Froakie, he made up the name on the spot because it started with the same letter as the Pokémon he had become. He didn't really remember much from his human life, but he did remember that he was an orphan; no mom, no dad, no siblings, and no known relatives. He was miserable, being all by himself all the time and being so quiet and shy, so he gave this new life a chance, changing his entire attitude as well. "A job? Sounds fun! What are they?" "Hey, Sleepypaw!" she giggled, flicking her tail as she motioned for the apprentice to follow. "I think we'll do some hunting today. How does that sound?" Morningleaf was a sweet cat, and never seemed to be tired. She was full of boundless energy, and very positive. Everything she did, she seemed excited about. Basically, she was the perfect mentor, and she was nice about things too. It really was perfect for shy, awkward Hazepaw. "Sounds great," he yawned again, climbing out of his nest as he weaves=d through the sea of apprentices. "Are we going with anyone else?" "I would say Lilypaw, but you know Robinwing..." If you're still dizzy, would you like a Persim berry?" Tokko || Togekiss The feeling of freshly cleaned feathers and now a half-full stomach was satisfying, so Tokko decided to sit and let his feathers dry in the sun for a moment. Flying with wet wings was a hassle, so a little extra time relaxing wouldn't hurt. He peeped his eyes open, looking at the Sliggoo as she came slithering back to him, a smile on her face. The mud made Lilykit look almost completely brown, which would help with their stealth mission if they got caught. He was now gray and brown as well, so if they recognized the pair from DuskClan, hopefully they no longer would. "Yuck, I smell weird," Hazekit laughed, walking out of the mud.
