Not if you're from the Tigereye Peak region and already have all the needed materials while fighting so you don't need to buy anything else, I guess. It could be a replacement, of course it's up to the person to choose which one is cheaper to them. I actually have a dragon tail one, just because I already had the materials from fighting and there seemed to be no point in making one from another region and spending my time looking for that recipe.

Cons are, if you put a recipe on your doctor, it become useless in a way because you won't be able to gather the items needed to make that potion anymore, nor will it work on your villager because villages have different sickness. Your houses, if you built any will not be able to work.

Each place has a different needed house style. Olde Foxbury is Olde Foxbury House. Quetzal Palace is Quetzal Palace house.

It has a few pros as well, since you then can gather the items needed to make that village's morphing potion when exploring, and can buy their capsules right in the store. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't make a morphing potion if you're from a different village, simple means you have to get the items from the user stalls.

An alchesmist is NOT limited to the potions they can make in their village. Only what they can BUY in their village. If you get a hold of a recipe in general, morphing, medical whatever. You can use it on your alchemist no matter where they are from.

And my recommendation. Herbalist. Make everything a hebalist if you can buy common seeds for cheap in the user stalls. If you grow plants, you can sell them off really quick. I make 40k-50k FC this way per day.

Oh hmm, I suppose we all have our own way of playing then! :> For me, I like planting and collecting as many plants as possible to sell for FC so I mostly spend my time trying to cure my villagers as fast as possible, and then using the time it would've taken to make the potion and cure them, to grow seeds and harvest them.

You're welcome to reach for that 100% potency potion though, since major illness are quite the trouble, and I'm sure lots of people would buy them for a guarantee cure. Instead of growing plants like how I would, maybe brew on your free time and stock up on potions for future uses ^^
