A sweet voice drifted out in through the volcano-streaked land of Lavanda. Some Pokemon walking down the street stopped at the source of the song; an Absol named Sonata.

Sonata had traveled a day and a half to get to Lavanda, the nearest town to Havulan, her hometown and the nearest town to Lavanda. The female Absol's heart dropped a little as she thought of her lovely town, the place she had left to come here. Her parents and older sister had been reluctant to let her go, but Sonata persisted on her goals, and they finally let her go with the promise that she would write a letter at least every month.

Her goals, you may ask? To explore and perform on the streets, to scour the marketplaces for the rare and mystical Absolite. Perhaps even find it, too, in a dungeon, if she ever encountered one. Here is where her journey will start. After fully exploring Lavanda, Sonata planned on leaving and heading for another town.

First things first, though. It was best to earn some money for supplies. Sonata had laid her yellow bag wide open on the ground next to her. Some Pokemon, admiring her sweet singing voice, scattered some Poke into the bag.

There was a light smattering of applause as Sonata ended her song. "Thank you, thank you!" she cried. The Absol waited for the small crowd to drift apart and away before counting the Poke in her bag.

284 Poke! Not bad, not bad. Sonata mused to herself. She closed the bag by flipping the flap over. Then she scooped up the long strap of the bag up with her mouth. The coins clinked together as she looked around. Where to go now...

Pokemon: Absol
Name: Sonata
Gender: Female
Move-set: Pursuit, Quick Attack, Me First, and Perish Song. Sonata is currently at level 17.
Home town: Havulan, a small town with all different kinds of Pokemon. Here is where the arts flourish, where singers, dancers, potters, sculptors, artists, musicians, and more come to set up shop or perform. Havulan is the closest town to Lavanda.
Family: Mother, Canzula, an Umbreon. Father, Daniel, an Absol. Older sister, Metella, an Espeon.
Goals: Sonata mainly wants to explore new areas, and drop in on other towns and cities to perform on the streets (more info in the Other section). Also, she's visiting all of the markets and shops she can, in hopes of finding and buying the mystical Absolite, which will turn her into a Mega Absol.
Other: Sonata's a wonderful singer, and she makes a little pocket money by singing on the streets. Admiring onlookers then drop tips by her. She's saving up to buy an Absolite, if she ever finds one. This is what she looks like:
