	Sunkit relaxed slightly after hearing Tigerstripe and Flamestripe speak. Dawnpelt walked up behind her kits, sitting behind them and drawing her tail over each of them. 	Sunkit lagged behind as she was taking in her surroundings. Her eyes were drawn up as she craned her neck to see the tops of the pine trees, that towered above her. Dawnpelt's ears swiveled at the sound of a voice and she craned her neck to see Firestrike looking down at them. "Don't we know it, " she meowed, and leapt onto a rock as to look at the Pineclan warrior closer to his level. " I apologize for this unannounced intrusion onto your territory," she mewed, " But as you can see, our entire clan is here with us. " she said, gesturing to the Desertclan cats. " We have been chased out of our home, by the rogue cats from two leg place." she spoke solemnly.

Dawnpelt stood above the ditch, watching her clan mates file by her along the twoleg path. Her ear flicked as she noticed Fallentree's limp. His injury from yesterday must be acting up..., she thought, pained at the sight of injured clan mates. She decided against leaving to hunt now, figuring that no one would be in the mood for eating until later anyway, and walked alongside the clan.

	Dawnpelt looked at the ditch that ran parallel to the path and nodded, " Alright," she said, and signaled to the others with her tail. " Everyone follow Flamestar along this ditch; try to stay hidden from the path, and the two legs shouldn't bother us, " she meowed for all of them to hear. Dawnpelt pulled back a bit into the foliage, but watched curiously as the strange two-leg monster rode away up the mountain path. " Hmmm..." she contemplated a moment for pulling back into the foliage. She looked to Flamestar who was nearby. " Perhaps we should move alongside the path, where we are slightly more hidden by the undergrowth. I don't feel comfortable putting the whole clan on that path...", she said, looking back to the path nervously.

" We should all remain close together, " Dawnpelt said, eyeing her two kits as she overheard their conversation. " But yes, the kits require some extra supervision." Dawnpelt made a subtle signal with her tail to Flowerheard and Mudfeather to remain close. As the clan neared the two leg path, Dawnpelt stepped ahead away from her mate to carefully look out from the bushes and onto the path. She looked up and down the path, her ears pricked, and her mouth open to taste the air. She could taste the stale scent of dog, but it must have passed by sometime earlier.

" I just want to know what they look like, I kinda hope we do see one, " Sunkit chirped, sounding slightly cheerier as they moved through the trees. " They seem so ugly in my head."

Dawnpelt brushed her tail along Ashpelt's side as they walked, comforted by his presence as always. Ahead, she could see the strange two leg path through the trees. She kept her ears pricked, hoping not to hear any of the two legs walking along the path at this time.

Dawnpelt walked along side Ashpelt, glancing from her kits trailing behind her, to the rest of her clan walking together. The climbed out of the rocky dip in the ground, and headed through the pine trees towards the two leg path that would lead them up the mountain. Duskwind trailed behind the clan, not speaking to anyone.

Sunkit looked away, embarrassed. "Oh...I don't really remember, " she said, scuffing the ground as they walked together. Images flashed through her mind, scenes of blood, and claws flashing in a dark forest. " I just remember feeling scared," she said quietly. She shook her head, trying to brush the images away. " Do you think we'll see a twoleg today?," she asked her brother, wanting to change the subject.

Dawnpelt looked at Ashpelt seriously, " I hope you keep that promise, " she said. Dawnpelt looked to see most of the clan standing and ready to move. She looked to Flamestar ahead of them and nodded, showing that she was ready to begin moving.

Sunkit mewed a greeting as her brother came near. " I had bad dreams. " she whispered. " Did you?," she asked, her ears flicking as warriors began moving about.

I feel as though you've been in the medicine den for moons, for one thing or another...", she said, trailing off as to not seem to upset in front of the kits. Dawnpelt licked the fur that had formed into a cowlick on Bramblekit's head. " Yes, little one. Today, you get to see Pineclan, " she said, nudging Sunkit again, as she seemed reluctant to move. She lifted her small head, blinking sleepily. She looked at Dawnpelt, with eyes that were so much like her own, with the same worried expression as well. Dawnpelt licked Sunkit's ears, purring softly. "I promise you, it will be alright. The view from the mountain is quite the sight, " she said, hoping to excite them somewhat.
