JaggedHeart sat next to her clan leader unable to do anything for Crowpelt now. "Tonight since Crowpelt has no loved ones those who wish shall sit vigil and we can bury him in the morning." Jaggedheart stood and licked Crowpel'ts ear, 'Watch over us." Padding away jagged heart retreated to her den and took stock of her herbs. Tomorrow she was going to need to collect some more catmint before winter kills it all.

Icepelt sat next to his father Crispberry as the clan cats gathered to say their goodbye's to Crowpelt. Taking his turn he licked Crowpelt's shoulder, "Enjoy the hunt." Siting back down his father took a turn next, "Say hello to Amberpelt for me okay?" Crispberry smiled and sat back down. Iceclaw looked sad he had been good friend with Crowpelt. "Now Icestar mice choose a new deputy before moon high tomorrow." Crispberry nodded. "It's to bad he was such a young and good deputy."

Always the early riser Brambleberry woke first shaking the mist from her fur she squeezed through the warriors entrance and into the clearing looking around she smiled, "Morning Dusktail." She padded up to the fresh kill pile and chose out a small mouse for her meal. "Which patrols am I on today?"

Rosepelt slipped out of her den early and stretched, "ugh! this cold is not good for this medicine cats old bones. I hope I get an apprentice soon so I can make a happy retirement." Rosepelt wandered over to the fresh kill pile as well selecting a vole her favorite she walked over and sat in a sunspot to eat. "Oh and Dusktail if you wouldn't mind adding me to one of the patrols today I need to stock up."

Firesong awoke to Emberfang's coughing, "Are you all right darling? That cough sound awefully bad." Her mate who was sleeping next to her stirred and yawned, "What all the noise for? I was trying to rest." Friesong smiled and licked her mates ear. "Nothing love Emberfang just has a bad cough." Blackfoot huffed, "Well then maybe she should have Roseplet take a look.

(Please note that I am currently seriously confused with what's going on currently in the rp...)

Alice screamed in surprise as they both turned without a word and ran in the other direction twisting and turning through the maze in danger Alice found it quite easy to use her powers to feel for the others. A group was safe. Alice gasped as she realized the closer they got to the group they were going in the opposite direction. Flowing their trail of emotions they both spotted the others in record time. Shouting in unison, "Hold the elevator!"

Alice grasped her sisters hand once again seeking comfort from her sisters calm emotions. Annabell smiled down at her sister and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, "Don't worry dear sister we didn't go through years of combat training to get scared now did we? I'm sure this is just a trail to weed out the weaker abilities." Alice was unsure how she felt about that. After all her ability only allowed her to sense and influence emotions. How great could that ability really be when compared to others? A look from her sister silenced her fear however and she followed after her sister as they started down the straight path and into a two way split. Annabell weighed her options carefully but couldn't come up with a correct way to go. Looking down at her sister, "Any idea's?"
Alice frowned and looked down both directions, "The feelings of the others is coming from that way." Alice pointed down the left path. Annaball smiled, "Then we're going right." Alice looked confused and refused to move when her sister started down the right path, "But sister why would you wanna take the direction away from the others?" Annabell sighed and placed a hand on her sisters head. "This is a trail right? those people are in a group and attracting the most attention. While they have all the attention all we have to do is find the right path and complete the trial."
Alice frowned, "But when we get closer to completing the trail wont the attention turn to us?" Annabell nodded then, "Yes but don't worry me and you together can stop them. Just like we did at our old school. Just me and you okay?" Alice knew then that her sister just didn't want to share her. afraid again that if Alice ever revealed the true extent of her power by influencing peoples emotions then people might pick on her again. But this school would be different Alice was sure people wouldn't try and pick on her since everyone here was just as puzzling as she is.
Alice shook her head at her sister, "No sister it can't just be you and me anymore. Those people are hurting and scared we need to help them. We need to protect them." Annabell was shocked at her sisters words and smiled all she ever wanted to hear was her sister standing up for herself like this.
"Lead the way then." Alice practically cheered as she heard that and turned then to go down the left path only to find it blocked then by two ugly looking squirrel monsters. Looks like they took to long to decide.

	Dax was confident Paige would pick out someplace good to eat. Dax was by no means a picky eater but he did appreciate good food so he was looking forward to whatever Paige picked out. With the happy thought of dinner with Paige he changed his clothes and headed out to work. Gotta make that money! Dax kissed his mothers cheek and said good bye before he headed out to work. Annabell lead the way up to the school they were to attend from today on and got directions to the orientation room. Leaving there stuff with their family attendant to put upstairs for them. Taking the had of her big sister Alice followed behind as they followed directions. Coming to the door Annabell went first touching the door. Through their linked hands Alice gasped and pulled Annabell away from the door. "Oh no sister! There are people in there! Their emotions are so strong!" Alice shook her head vigorously in protest.
Annabell looked at her sister confused, "what do you mean fighting? It's a simple orientation right?" Alice whimpered again the lingering feelings still filling her with fear.
"No Ann it's not just orientation but bad things bad bad things." Annabel rolled her eyes, when Alice was panicked she had a smaller vocabulary to work with. Sending soothing feeling through their linked hands Alice sighed calming almost instantly at her sisters healing touch.
"Now tell me what you felt." Alice looked frightened as she remembered the feelings in the room. "Fear, pain, confusion, insecurity. All the bad feelings but also determination and strength and bravery. Our classmates seem to be fighting for some reason..." Alice frowned unsure now the feelings seemed to be forgotten then as if she hadn't felt those emotions.
Annabell nodded at her sisters words thinking. "Well then if there's trouble we mustn't go in then right" Wrong her sister looked even more troubled at the thought of abandoning them.
Annabell groaned, "okay okay fine but put your barriers up we don't need you passing out cuz a few stupid people cant guard their emotions." Alice looked scared but steeled her nerves and put of her barriers blocking out emotions to the point so could no longer feel the annoyance radiating from her sister.
Annabell once again touched the door again glancing at Alice who now looked only slightly uncomfortable and sighed I'm going to regret this. she thought as she pushed open the door revealing the full situation of the room to them a slam and a click left them in the room without an exit. Annabell frowned Already regretting it, she looked at her sister, Jerk.
Alice was full of determination as the full force of the rooms emotions descended into her sensitive nerves and sent a shiver down her back. She was so not cool with this new development.But the emotions she could feel told her she was going to be needed if she wanted to save these people. Alice looked at her sister meeting her glare with a smile. It seems Alice was always getting them into bad situations.

(Is this still open to transfer students?)(These two are sisters. They transfer in late due to the younger one having poor health and needed time to recover before the long journey to the school.)

Personality: Smart as they come without being super natural. Alice is an interesting character. Carefree and air headed, Alice likes to spend her time in libraries reading and/or sleeping or in the horse stables caring for her friend Iceing and/or sleeping. Alice is weak often falling ill at random times and like to sleep 60% of the day away.
Why are you puzzling?: Alice is an Empath she can sense emotions or the intentions of a person. She can also influence another persons emotions but she hates using that part of her powers and never uses it. She is extremely sensitive to other peoples feelings and likes hanging around people who give her good feelings and avoids people with bad ones. Her powers only work on humans.
Fears: Heights, Pain, Zombies, and Bad feelings.
Other: Alice has a pet horse icing that she keeps in the stables on grounds with special exceptions as Iceing is her therapy animal and often help her escape from the negative emotions most people put off. Younger sister of Annabell.

Why are you puzzling: Able to heal any wound as long at it is not life threatening. Annabell is able to heal any wound without limitation as long as the wound wont kill you. Example stabbed in side? Healed. Stabbed in heart? there's nothing she can do for you but make your passing painless. Same thing goes with illness. The flu? good to go! Cancer? Nothing she can do for you. She is unable to heal herself.
Fears: Hospitals.
Other: Annabell is only kind to her sister Alice preferring to distance herself from others in case they injure themselves and a bond with them influences her to heal them. Annabell's worst nightmare is a hospital where sick people gather in numbers all seeking aid.

Addi awoke late and yawned tired. Ignoring her appearence for the moment she headed downstairs without much thought. "Morning baby." Her mother greeted her with a plate of breakfast and a kiss on the forehead. With a tired smile addi sat down and took a bite from her eggs. "So how was your match? You came in pretty late so he must have been quite the charmer." That was it! Addi was awake now as her might with marshal floated back to the top of her brain.
"Oh mother it was wonderful! He had a sweet dog and a nice personality with the most unusual color choice for hair I'd ever seen! Marshal is such a nice man and he payed for everything while we were out!" Addi smiled her food forgotten as she remembered last night.

Dax smiled at her invitation, "Oh course my dear. I'd love to join you and meet your folks. I have quite a few vacation days saved up just for such an occasion." Dax ate his oatmeal without much thought more interested in his conversation with Paige.

(Honestly confused about what paige is doing but I assume it's a phone call?)

Addi spent the rest of the night laughing and chatting it up with marshall enjoying the pretzel's and just generally getting to know her new match. After curfew however Addi headed home with Dax and they parted ways until morning.

Dax rolled out of bed the next morning to answer his annoying phone but instantly lost his temper seeing Paige's face on his caller ID. Answering immidiatly he yawned into the phone, "Hello?" Shaking off the lingering ties of sleep and walking into the kitchen.

(Hi! So sorry it's been so long 3 days at my grandma's and no internet! I'm still a little busy but I have time enough to reply daily now.)

Dax glanced down at Paige's bracelet as well, "I'm sure I can win your parents approval no problem." Dax smiled and gazed up at the stars. "You know there are books about the people who have been beyond the earth and have seen the stars up close. Even been so far as to stand on the moon and look over at the earth." Dax reached a hand up to the moon a spark in his eye. "How cool would it be to see such a thing?"

Dax walked next to his match as they headed out into the cool air. A little to cold for his tastes. He released Paige for only a moment slipping off his jacket he put it around her shoulders not allowing her to protest he reclaimed her arm and lead her over to the gazebo. "I have to admit. These stars could shine as bright as the sun and they would still bring me less joy then being with you." Dax blushed at his own words but it was true for some reason. He hadn't been this happy in years.

Addi smiled marshal seemed like a good match for her. Standing up, "Shall we go? I'm sure out dogs would love a walk in the cool night air and we can go to the Pretzel Palace down the way for some food?" Addi loved the warm pretzel's she bought there. She made a point to stop there each time she came to see her father at work.
