Drew some ideas for a Nidorina plush for PH What do you think? Have many other ideas too so will gradually add them here as they get drawn. Edit: Thread discontinued 8/11/2015. Am still drawing but will just post it on DA now since I'm about as likely to get useful feedback there. Thank you. [Read more] |

Thanks for your suggestion but please understand, it wouldn't compliment the game we already have here. Tower Defense games can be awesome - and pokemon themed ones are already out there - but in my experience... Pokeheroes is way more social, open and relaxed. I don't want to lose that. [Read more] |

Perhaps most importantly... Having a plushie bonus would increase demand for the plushies - but it doesn't necessarily have to increase the supply. That, of course, would be up to the staff as well. But... It could become something that is useful for motivating more focus on interactions. *shrugs* [Read more] |

Starter plushies: Egg would be the same, yeah but chance for egg just to be there would be slightly improved, that's all. Shiny plushies: You're right. Is redundant. However, is that bad? The thought here is: would having another way to raise the chance for a shiny to hatch be unwelcome? Maybe not? Maybe having both shiny charm and shiny plushies could make for slightly shorter shiny hunts? *shrugs* Legend: Again, yes. But a case of "maybe a little redundancy wouldn't be totally bad". And those legend plushies sell out so darn fast... I don't think it would be a rampant problem, really. Event plushies: HOW it works would be up to the programmers and staff to decide. All I'm suggesting at the moment is that maybe it could work? Others: Admit this needs some work. But I'm trying to approach it with the idea that sorting the rest of the plushies by groups - in this case, by type - and applying whatever bonus that way... Instead of each one doing something different... would maybe be less of a hassle for players and programmers alike. *shrugs* [Read more] |

Hey, you know... Recently... With the new ditto plushie there was a rumor going around that the more of these plushies you collected - or GAVE to others - the better your chances for hatching an actual ditto. Just a rumor, but how awesome would it be if it became true? And that got me thinking... All these other plushies... Instead of each having different bonus skills... Why not something like this: -Starter plushies: Improve your odds of getting a random starter from the lab. -Shiny plushies: Improve your odds - even just a little tiny bit - of hatching a shiny. -Rare/Legend plushies: Improve your ability to earn dreampoints. -Emera Event Plushies: Improve your ability to earn event points. -All other plushies: Improve your odds of finding a type related item. So if you collect or give all the fire type plushies then your rumblers become more likely to find a fire stone or fire gem. Like that. This could be something where either the most recent bonus earned is the one that takes effect OR maybe it could be setup so that you could choose which bonus effects you want to have active. *shrugs* What do you all think? And now, I have had more time. So let me please express it this way. You idea is worthy of respect and has potential, yes. BUT... What I am afraid of... Because I have seen it ruin a lot of other games... Is that we might lose the open friendliness of the way things are now. By encouraging interactions with friends already made, do we limit and discourage people from discovering and making new friends? [Read more] |

Now then... The PokeRadar. Money spent to buy batteries for that goes right out of circulation too, doesn't it? So maybe that spending should also count. [Read more] |

-The Friendlist Clicklist. Imagine being able to turn to a single clicklist in order to mass-click through all of your friends, whether or not they are currently online. That's all that this would be. -Search by Held Item. Yes, the GTS and the Auction House are mostly places for exchanging pokemon - but items can be attached to pokemon. So what if we could sort the pokemon that are up for trade or sale by the items they are holding? Wouldn't that make it a little easier to find specific items? -Trainers Rumble Area. A rumble area for the trainers. You send out your icon. You wouldn't earn dreampoints for this, perhaps, but would have a chance to find items. And the more trainers who are actively rumbling on at the same time, the better odds they have of finding rare items during this adventure. It could work just like the other rumble maps - send out, wait, receive and hopefully level up the map a bit more - or it could become some kind of a mini-game that allows you to play with or against other online trainers. And maybe it should only become available after trainers reach a certain level? And maybe the higher your trainer level, the more often you can send yourself out? These are just suggestions. What do you think? Would you enjoy them? [Read more] |

Please understand. I do respect your suggestion but currently I don't see how it isn't redundant to a lot of the features we already have on this site. You are correct in that Riako should - and no doubt, will - be the one who decides whether it would be difficult/practical to implement. But whenever a suggestion entails a lot of work for the programmer, it does also tend to add layers of difficultly for the players. That concerns me slightly. A lot of PH's appeal is in it's simplicity, I think. We have players here of all ages from all over the world. I wouldn't want this place to lose that unique charm. Thank you. I think I will be making a suggestion of my own. [Read more] |

The way you describe Join Avenue... It could almost function as a clicklist that allows each trainer to go through everyone on their friendlist... But I thought a rumble area might be more interesting. *shrugs* What if it were a place not for the pokemon but for the trainers? What if it were a rumble area where the prizes got better, the more trainers that were exploring it? Please excuse my active imagination. =F [Read more] |

However it also sounds kind of fun and cool. Hrm. Maybe there is a way to make this work for PH. What if... Join Avenue became a rumble area, instead? The items available would still be kinda random, the map could still be leveled up... Would this approach suit PH better? [Read more] |

Hrm. A shelter isn't a bad idea but honestly, I'd just be more in favor of the released pokemon becoming available in the tall grass. [Read more] |

How about... Only the plushies that you have collected several of can offer the bonus? That would make it a little more challenging? Or do you that mean we'd have to collect on of each plushies to get the bonus? And instead of pokedollars... Since these are the plushies... Maybe the bonus could just affect the dreampoints? *shrugs* What other kinds of bonuses were you thinking about? [Read more] |

What I am proposing is that every time any player spends pokedollars on this site, it goes on a meter and when the meter is full then everyone gets something. Not a big prize, probably, but something useful. How much time it takes to fill the meter will vary... Because... Well. First, it will depend on how much money each player spends. Second, it will depend on what kinds of spending count. The way we are approaching the idea right now gifts to other players, for example, might not help fill the meter. But money spent in the Item Shop should. And right now, we are only talking about a meter to measure the spending of pokedollars. Not nuggets. Third, the staff of this site should - and will - be the ones who decide how much money has to be spent in order to fill the money meter. Does this help? [Read more] |

And Bills House. The PD we spend on storage boxes and egg storage, that goes straight out of circulation too, doesn't it? So perhaps that should count, as well. x2 money per interaction is a nice idea. Would benefit everyone that way. [Read more] |

Really like the Love Meter here at PH. It tracks, encourages and rewards interactions - as you know. Benefits everyone. Noticed that Emera Bank already tracks spending... So would it be difficult to add a Money Meter? Something that encourages and rewards spending in a way that could also benefit everyone. Because right now every time that a player spends money at the Item Shop, Beauty Salon, Game Corner, Royal Tunnel, Gem Collector, Daycare... Then the pokedollars that they have spent go out of circulation, correct? There is no way for any of that wealth to return to any other player. With the money meter... Perhaps every time it is full... Maybe we could find ways to keep more of the collective wealth in circulation? *shrugs* Just a thought. [Read more] |
