"B-But anyway.." Moon quieted a little before gently rubbing her arm nervously, "Yeah..I need a favor...Do you think you could...Make me a new outfit for tonight...? My dress is stained really heavily and I don't want to go out in it...Would you be willing to do that for me? I'll give you whatever I can!" "Ah! Thanking you, Toffee." Buff Frog nodded towards him before listening to the ingredients that Matilda requested of him, his mouth watering, adding to the already murky water. "Ah yes yes! Tonight is INDEED special night if we are in having Fish-Leg Stew! That mostly being reserved for birthdays and stuff." He saluted her, giving a croak before looking back to Toffee with a playful grin. "I am having many questions, my friend. But they will be answered in due time..I am sure." 'Ha..This really is wonderful..It's like a dream that I never want to wake from...Or if I do...I want everyone here with me..' She then shook herself out of it a moment and placed Ludo in her lap before her attention went to the amerging Matilda. "Ah! Matilda! Privet!" she waved happily, "Hopefully you slept well!" she then blinked twice before standing up, Ludo still in her arms, him dangling like a toddler holding a puppy. "Matilda uhmm...Do you think I could...ask you a favor?" She tilted her head slightly. "Heh heh! Do not be in worrying, Toffee." Buff Frog spoke quietly, his eyes shifted towards where Moon and Ludo were, nodding towards Toffee, "I will be making the c-o-o-k-i-e-s after Matilda makes dinner. That way oven will be hot and not take too much longer." He smiled again, a happy croaking sound escaped his lips as he looked towards Matilda as she emerged. "Ah, my lovely spider lily! Hope you were in resting well." He croaked again as her ears did the flapping motion, causing his to do the same. "But yes, we will need to be having dinner soon! It is almost nightfall! Please be in making your best dish! I will be in getting whatever you need! Tonight is a special one!" "Ah ha! You let your guard down! Now it's my turn!" She couldn't remember the last time she actually got to be a child again, it felt nice, especially nicer since she had everyone important to her; her father figure in Kenny, her big brother figure in Ludo, and Toffee, her future husband. Her diamonds started to glow again, it was a calming lilac color, showing she was at peace once more. She wasn't aware of it, however. "It is no problem, my friend. Most pleasurable being able to get the gang back together again." He then oofed a little as he felt his children leap onto his lap, nuzzling all of them. He raised his brow towards Toffee as he wanted to talk, but nodded quickly. "Da! Matilda can make Moon a nice dress for her to be in wearing to the place tonight. She should be waking up soon. For soon it will be dinner time and she ALWAYS cooks dinner haha. She is insisting she cooks one meal a day at least. She was in choosing dinner." He licked his lips playfully before his eyes wandered to the lone child in the water and clinging to Toffee's tail. "Haha. Happens to best of us, Toffee. At least you are not in having ears to bite!" "Ludo! It's so great to see you!" she exclaimed before gently excusing herself from Toffee's lap, running over to the Kappa before she knelt down and hugged him tightly, "Aww big brother Ludo! I missed you! This really is my lucky day!" She then looked back to Toffee with a sincere smile, then went back to praising Ludo before her attention went towards Buff Frog who appeared after him. "Ah..I am glad that you two met up so quickly! He was being so impatient..As Master Ludo is." he croaked happily and went to take a seat on the slug infested couch, kicking up his feet a little. "So then, Toffee..When are we in goings to...the place?" He asked with a smirk, unaware Moon was glaring at him. "I'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry!" she repeated several times, he wanted to know though, but still, the topic made her extremely nervous. She was raised to be a civil non-sensual queen, but the thought of making love to Toffee, she couldn't help but go against her training. Such a wonderfully frivolous idea. She looked up at him after a moment and gently giggled at his blush, it was the first time she had ever seen him do it, it was cute to her. She continued to hold his tail before looking down sheepishly, nodding faintly, "Th-That makes sense..hahah.." she replied nervously, she figured maybe as long as he was gentle at first, she would grow used to it so his primitive Septarian nature can go full course. "Y-Y-Y-Yeah! Great idea!" she gently placed his tail back down, looking around slightly before glancing down at her dress, frowning with a quiet sigh, wishing she had something else to wear rather than her tear and mascara stained dress. Buff Frog chuckled again as he saw how eager Ludo was to see Moon, He always was like a big brother to Moon, at least according to Moon herself, and he knew she'd be happiest when all four of them were together. "Of course, Master Ludo! Giving me...one second!" With a quick slash in the air with his dimensional scissors, he opened up a small portal to his home, gently bowing his head and offering for Ludo to hop right in. "Moonie is in being this way, Master!" Buff Frog chimed, a fatherly smile appearing on his face. "Let us not keep her waiting!" He awaited for Ludo to enter the portal before he did, he didn't appear to look it on the outside, but he was just as eager as Ludo for the night to begin. [Read more] |

"I...If you must know I...I was thinking about...Erm..W-well...We...You and I...uhmm...M-Mati--.." She then shook her head again before hiding her face in his tail again. I can't say it right! she thought to herself, the topic always made her shy. Buff Frog blinked twice and kept his salute before he cackled as Ludo fell off of his throne of pillows. Happy that that didn't change when he had to leave and be with his wife and family. "I was and am," Buff Frog replied, about to say more before Ludo made the comment with, what he found cute, Ludo calling her little Moonie, and they would be going to the tavern for a good drink and karaoke, for Ludo at least. He gave a fatherly nod towards the Kappa. "Yes Master." He said with a playful smile as he watched Ludo climb back up on his throne, lightly sweatdropping before he pulled out his scissors, "Master! Why not come back with me and see 'Moonie' before the festivities are beginning! I'm sure she would be thrilled to be in seeing you!" After pointing out to his blush, which made her squee lightly, she nodded. "The one where you sounded happy...well, as happy as you could sound with that suave voice of yours." she then blushed a little as he nipped her ear, playfully beating on his chest with her fists, telling him nipping her ear was a big no-no. But she knew he wouldn't listen, but she tried anyway. Upon feeling his head on hers, she smiled again, nodding a little with a flustered blush. "H-Hopefully so." she gently buried her face in her hands, the thought starting to edge itself back into her mind. Buff Frog smiled as he placed his now sleeping wife into their bed, lightly shaking the blush off before he reached into the hammer space and grabbed his scissors, cutting a hole into the air until he wound up at Castle Avarius, asserting himself into the throne room. "Ludo, Master!" He spoke a little loudly after doing the normal salute, "It is in regarding Queen Moon! Please come with me, Boss! We will be going to the Tavern later for a relaxing night. She blinked twice as she heard him laugh a little at her comment, her brows furrowed a little before she then calmed herself upon him mentioning how picky he was. She remembered that he told her yes, which meant she wasn't pathetic, but she certainly felt like it. She gently rubbed the back of her head again with another nervous chuckle, lightly smiling more to his happy voice, she found it incredibly cute and very reassuring that he was more than what he led on. There WAS a playful side to this Septarian that wasn't sarcasm. She thanked him for the compliments before lightly shaking her head playfully, booping his nose playfully. "Oh I guess i'll accept your love." She said with a playful smirk, but in reality she wanted nothing more in her life then to become this Lizard man's wife. She kissed him once again before gently pulling away, "I love you, Toffee..You know..." she began, lightly nuzzling his jawline before pulling away once again, turning around to sit in his lap and face the window, still impatiently waiting for night to fall. "Right perceptive of you, Toffee...How did you..." She raised a small brow before she then blinked a little, to her he said that they'd all be there for her, he said it a little too calmly. Was he actually getting jealous? If so, why? Did he return the feelings and she had no idea? The thought of him actually returning her secret feelings for him danced in circles around her mind. She lightly nodded at his last sentence, not even really listening to it at the point before she looked up at him, tears gently streaming down her face before she took in a deep breath and closed her eyes. She turned herself around to face him and gently looked up, landing a deep kiss onto his lips, tears continuing to stream down her face as she rested her hands on the sides of his jaw. A moment later she pulled away. "Toffee...You're....you're jealous...aren't you...?" She looked up to him before smiling faintly, embracing him, "You don't...need to be jealous of yourself...I...I.." She then shook it off as she heard Toffee's rather bored line of speech and felt his hand through her hair. She gave him a nervous chuckle, lightly resting her head on his chest, gently grabbing onto a strand of his hair. "I...I'm alright I just uhmm...." She then blushed heavily before looking at the ground rather embarrassed, gently using her foot to stir the murky water around them. "I'm...pretty sure you can uhh...well...you know..." She immediately shook it off and then playfully slapped her cheeks in the 'get it together girl!' sort of way before blinking again, looking down slightly. "Queen Eclipsa..? Globgor? But I thought she...interesting." She sighed again and lightly crossed her arms, "Of course they would lie..But anyway.." The thought still slightly fresh in her mind caused her to flinch a moment when she realized that Toffee heard what she said. She turned her head a little to look at him from over her shoulder, her face a beet red with her back to glowing diamonds. "Oh uhh..yeah..Thanks, Toffee." "I am being sorry, Toffee. She started it! But fear not, I will indeed finish what she has started..To the...private swamp." He cackled playfully as he started to take Matilda to the private swamp, pausing for a split second as he smirked to Toffee. "I will be sure to bring Master Ludo with me to that place tonight." and then disappeared into the mystery swamp door. Moon gently chuckled as she watched as Matilda and Buff Frog went to their private swamp, figuring out what that meant made her blush even brighter than ever, her lilac diamonds gave off a faint glow as she had the small thought of her and Toffee in this 'private swamp'. Her hands on his chest, caressing his arms as he holds her close and whispers sweet nothings in her ear. They would be so passionate, his eyes scanning her everywhere, as they made such sweet love. The thought made her diamonds glow brightly, causing some of the kids to start to hop off her lap and swim to where it was a little more darker. She instantly shook it off, trying to calm herself, fanning herself a little as she glanced over her shoulder at Toffee as he explained that there were hybrid children. This peaked her curiosity as he made notion that one of them was a princess, which made her confused, none of the scrolls had said anything about a monster princess that was born to a Monster and Mewman. She digressed before smiling up to him. "Thank you, Toffee!" She gently fiddled with her fingers a little before flinching a little as he asked, lightly rubbing the back of her head, "I was just curious is all! It was just something I've been curious about for a while since I became friends with most Monsters...Maybe one day it could happen but if it already happened that's great!" She liked the fact there was at least one, she would be content with that. She then frowned faintly and blushed a little before hiding her face in her hands. "But....one day...yes." "You know, Krasotka." Buff Frog smirked a little and gently pressed himself against her, "With how you are in teasing me like that....I assume there are things you are wishing to be doing?" He croaked quietly as he gently bit her ear. Moon playfully rolled her eyes and looked back to Toffee in a 'you better believe me or else' sort of look as she did start to wake up, lightly smiling again as she gave a side glance over to Kenny and Matilda, blinking before a small blush appeared on her face as she buried her face in Toffee's chest again. She then looked up to him and playfully booped his nose after he poked hers. "Hey! I did enjoy my food, Toffee. I was just really hungry...It was so good..." She then sighed playfully, "Yeah...so I've been told." A small chuckle escaped her before she then flinched a little as the children started to swarm into her lap, a smile spread on her face as she hugged them all while still leaning back in Toffee's lap. She pondered for a minute if she would ever have children, and with who? The thought of the one person she wanted made her blush a little deeper, imagining what their child would look like, would it be more Mewman, or Septarian? Did Hybrids exist? She didn't know. But she digressed and watched as the little ones scampered their way around the house, making happy little ribbit noises here and there. "Hey...Toffee...Do you know if...Mewman and Monster hybrids exist? Is that possible?" She looked up to him with a small head tilt. "Just curious! I wanna see what they'd look like if they did exist." Buff Frog smiled as he walked over to Toffee and Moon, gently setting the plates onto the table that Toffee had set his food on. "Here, Moon," Buff Frog said in a quiet voice, smiling down to the two, "You and Toffee must be in eating after your long night. It is Buff Frog's favorite dish, Flycakes and sludge! Go on you two dig in please!" He smiled again before his attention went to Matilda, croaking along with her for that second before he nodded and gently grabbed her hands into his, "They are SO in being the cutest right now. They remind me of us when we first met on my first mission! You would not be in letting go of me! You were all over me like flies to rancid meat. I could not be any more happier." He croaked towards her with loving sparkly eyes. "They're...being really cute I can tell...everyone." Moon spoke in a hushed voice as her eyes happened to glance down at the Tadpoles, then over towards Buff Frog and Matilda. Another small smile appeared on her face before looking back to Toffee, gently shaking her head, nuzzling him before mentioning that she got plenty of sleep in the bed with Kenny's children and would feel wide awake soon enough after having the flycakes and sludge. To which she then proceeded to nuzzle herself back onto him as she was set in his lap. Her eyes started to sparkle when she looked down at the food, some of the fly wings still moving, that was when they were the best, freshly baked. She quickly and hungrily ate the food, the children seemed to watch in awe at how fast she ate. She then raised a small brow as she was eating before looking over her shoulder to Toffee, swallowing the food before blinking twice, "A surprise for me....tonight?" She pouted playfully, normally she wasn't a fan of surprises, but would wait because she was too hungry to argue. Moon finished the breakfast merely moments later before smiling, "Thank you for breakfast, Kenny!" She then was about to attempt to get out of Toffee's lap before Buff Frog approached her and waved his finger at her, chuckling as all good Buff Frog's do and took her plate to the sink, Moon thanked him as she then nestled herself back in Toffee's lap. "Haha." Buff Frog gently chuckled once more, heading back to the kitchen, he could smell the breakfast being close to being ready. He smiled to Matilda and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek as he handed her her coffee, heading back to sit with Toffee so that he could listen to the events of what was happening with Moon. Buff Frog listened intently, taking sips from his coffee until he ran out, even then he still drank from it, he was invested and wasn't thinking straight. With a small frown, he headed back towards the kitchen and start to prepare multiple plates for everyone there. "I see." he sighed deeply, gently scratching the back of his head, "Being queen is definitely tough work. He couldn't believe that Moon's only parent died! How dare she! Leaving her daughter all by herself. The thought of that disgusted him, but he digressed and then smiled lowly, agreeing with Toffee that the time at the Tavern would be great for all of them. "Da!" Buff Frog smiled as he then started to set the table for everyone, croaking really loudly so that all the children would wake up, for this style of croaking meant food time. Moon gently started to stir awake as she heard the gentle croaking sound from Buff Frog, a small sleepy smile appeared on her face realizing the familiarity was coming back to her. She was just about to open her eyes before she busted out laughing because all the children squirmed on her to head to the table. She gently sat up and rubbed her eyes, gently reaching down towards the murky water, rubbing her face with it so that most of the mascara was finally off. She yawned slightly before standing up, a little woozy as she placed her hand on the giant dresser that was by the bed before she lazily made her way out to where everyone else was. "Mm..Hello? Kenny....?" She exited the room and rubbed her eyes once more, finally able to fully open them before she looked around, her eyes brightened a little in the murky swamp home. "Ah! East Mewni Swamp! No wonder I slept so well..." She glanced around as the children glomped her quickly before returning back to their breakfast, Buff Frog smiling as he went to hug her tightly as a good father should, praising her for being so strong. Moon thanked him before her attention went towards Toffee, a sincere sleepy smile on her face. " "Toffee..." "Aaah~ No needing to worry, my friend. I will help untangle Moon's hand from your hair." He said as he approached Toffee, lightly grabbing Moon's hand and using the other one to lightly ease her fingers from holding onto his hair. Moments later Moon had finally let go and Buff Frog gently placed her into the bed with his children, all of them immediately burying her due to her warmth. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he nodded towards Toffee. "I would prefer long version, I want to know everything about our Moon. It seems rough from what you're making it out to be." He lightly untied his apron and placed it on his hanger in the kitchen before he smiled back to Toffee, lightly reaching over to brew some Coffee for himself and Matilda when she awoke. "Would you care for some Coffee..?" He asked Toffee as he started to listen to the story, a frown being more prominent now as he sighed gently. That treaty meant everything to Moon, he knew that, and every frog monster knew that. He didn't want it to become null and void! He wouldn't allow for it. He lightly turned his head towards Toffee and lightly poured him a cup of Coffee anyway, gently handing it to him. "You are free to drink it if you wish, my friend..I made too much again haha." He then took a small sip of his before nodding again, "I think that is brilliant plan, Toffee. She needs time away from Mewni...Well...HER Mewni anyway. Tavern with friends is always good idea! We will leave when she gets freshened up and rid of the eye makeup..Funny, it look like Black Sludge to me..but if it is what girls wear these days." He chuckled once more and took another sip. "I am sure Boss would like to get out of castle too..He has been stuck there for months bored out of his mind." He then glanced over to the now buried sleeping Moon, a dorky fatherly smile spread across his face, "If it is cookies she wants, it is cookies she will get. I will make more than enough for her! I promise." Buff Frog lightly laughed upon watching Toffee take so many breaths, smirking a little. "You ever think about running Monster Auctions with that? In the meanwhile a small humming could be heard from within the small hut on the eastern side of the Mewni Swamps. It was Kenny, aka, Buff Frog. He had awoken early that morning to prepare breakfast for his many children and his wife Matilda, sporting his new father's day apron that his family had made for him. It was cheesily done with doodles of all his kids, and a scribbled picture of himself and Matilda in the back with the words "I love my family" written in crayon. It was his favorite possession. As he continued to make breakfast he paused a moment as he turned his head towards the wooden door, raising a small brow before he started to croak rather loudly in a demanding 'who are you?' tone, but immediately calmed himself as he started to recognize Toffee's voice. With a small chuckle he replied, "Ah yes yes! Greetings Toffee! I am in being sorry," his thick Russian accent lightly echoed from within the hut as he left the kitchen, "What kind of assistance do you--" Upon hearing it regarding Moon he stayed silent and gently approached the door, looking to him before his eyes wandered down to her, his eyes widened a little as he frowned and lightly rubbed his finger across her cheek. He wanted answers, and he knew Toffee would give it to him. "Toffee...What is going on? Why is Moon covered in black sludge? It also look like she's been crying a lot." He then gently moved out of the way and gently ushered Toffee inside. "Please explain when you can, but in meantime, put Moon with sleeping children, she should be comfortable there." Buff Frog gave him a fatherly smile, "I will be having breakfast ready in few minutes...Will she be awake for it?" [Read more] |

"You could escape if you really wanted," Moon began as she lightly used her fist to knock on the floor under her bed, a hollow sound of a trap door gently echoed underneath them, "This was the door I used to escape those years ago when I didn't want my princess training..I had dug it out myself when I was 'sleeping'." she gave a low tired chuckle before listening to him, lightly shaking her head. "I really don't think i'll be great....Mediocre at best...maybe." She gave another sigh before gently reaching up to grab his hand after the butler had left and her face was buried. She swore up and down his shirt was going to have her face imprinted on it with how often she buried her face in it. Looking back to Toffee and seeing that sinister smile caused her to raise a small brow, lightly flinching a little as his eyes turned into the slits. She frowned a little and bopped him on the head. "Stop with the eyes, Toffee!" she demanded silently, as to not attract unwanted attention, but frowned a little before she then shook her head. "Nonononono Toffee wait--I can't just--AH!" She gasped lightly as she felt herself be swooped out from under the bed, growling faintly at him before she embraced him tightly holding on for dear life. "W-Where are we going?! Where are you taking me?! TOFFEE!" she then paused a little and looked back up to him as he chuckled, hesitantly nodding as she started to drift off into sleep. "What is it...?" She gently turned herself around as best she could, barely reaching enough to grab his index finger, holding on as tightly as she could. "I'm...surprised you're still here now...the butler is gone and..I.....I.." she bit her lip once more, not wanting to say she would have to take over her queenly duties, so no more free time to hang out with her friends anymore. The thought once again made her tear up, but her eyes widened, she literally cried out all her tears. She gently scooted herself under the bed and nuzzled up to Toffee, trying to keep her head away from his chest as to not dirty it even more. "I'm.....I'm scared, Toffee...What if I'm not going to be a good queen....What if I can't live up to Mewni's expectations...My Monster/Mewman treaty will never be taken seriously at this rate....I just want to..." she cut her self short as she heard the knock on her door again, the butler let himself in, but raised a brow as he saw Moon lightly poke her head out from the bed, asking what she was doing. She replied that she had dropped her quill under the bed and she was just getting it, thanking him for the breakfast. "I'll...I'll finish quickly and then get to my studies..." she forced herself to say, seeing the approving smile upon the butler's face as he left. She then lightly ducked her head back under the bed, burying her face in his chest, not even caring anymore. "I...I wanted to.." She gently leaned forward and nuzzled him slightly, using him as a type of leaning object so she wouldn't collapse after she managed to pull out a small vial from her drawer. Inside was Toffee's finger she had kept all those years ago. Why did she keep it? She couldn't remember, probably in a secret hope that she would see him again, in either good or not so good circumstances. She had held onto it long enough and with a quivering hand, placed in onto Toffee's lap. "Th-This belongs to you....." She gave him another weak smile before her attention went towards the door, she could hear approaching footsteps. She gasped quietly before she then used the rest of her strength to shove Toffee under her bed. "Stay u-under there for a minute." She quietly exclaimed as the knocking on the door drowned out whatever words she was saying to outside ears. "Y-Yes? Come in." She leaned back on the back of her bed as one of the butlers approached her asking what type of breakfast she wanted, but not before making a comment about her red swollen eyes and blackened face due to the mascara. She made up a lie saying that she had a really sad dream about her mother's passing, to which the butler agreed and hugged her, saying that he knew she would be a good queen, just like her one day. Upon the butler leaving she could feel her body start to give way, but knew she had to hold out for the next twelve hours because of her training. She grabbed a hold of the bedpost, forgetting Toffee was under her bed. In her state she seemed to forget a lot of things. "What I wouldn't give for some Worm Cookies by now....And a drink." she mumbled angrily to herself as she slipped out of bed, literally landing face first on the floor.
