“That’s probably a good idea.” Amanita agreed, picking at the core of the apple and placing the seeds in a pouch at her waist, before moving and shifting her tunic to sit correctly.

Amanita smiled, playing with the now almost finished apple, then looking back at Robbie. “Not if you do them properly.” She smirked, running a few steps forwards into a large hall, then breathing out in amazement.

“Oh. That’s pretty interesting.” Amanita mused, taming another bite of her apple. “Ok, one more question then I’ll leave you alone... where you expecting more people to come through? Because it looked like there were more beds in the room where I woke up.”

Amanita grabbed the fruit, biting into it with relish. “Thank. You.” She muttered, devouring it like a woman starved. “What language was that?” She asked, wiping her mouth of juice woth the corner of her sleeve.

(I just got home so here’s where it starts to laaaaggggg)

Amanita relaxed slightly, but her face turned bright red, redder than the mushrooms in her hair. “Shut up and show me where the food is.” She grumbled as her stomach did the same thing.

“I mean, sure, I like him, he’s a nice person, and he’s a prince for Hell’s sake! Is it that bad that I may or may not like the prince?” Amanita threw her hands up in the air in exasperation, and then brought them down to pinch the bridge of her nose.

“What.” It wasn’t even a question, with the bluntness of the delivery. Amanita just wrinkled her brows, and her nose scrunched up.

“Suspicious how?” Amanita narrowed her eyes at Robbie, but smiling slightly.

Amanita scoffed as she followed Robbie down the stairs, almost tripping but just managing to style it out. “So? What, is there some weird law in Haipshire that states that you’re not allowed to blush or something?”

Amanita nodded, then noticed Robbie’s wild grin. “Food sounds good. You know, falling from the sky does leave you with an empty stomach— what?!” She laughed slightly, staring at him.

Amanita lowered her head, smiling. “Thank you. I think I’ll get acquainted with the palace hopefully quite quickly.” She looked Andor in the eyes, ears a faint pink. “You too Robbie. If you want I could try and teach you a ritual or two?”

“Fine by me!” Amanita smiled gratefully at the two, and made to follow Robbie. “Thank you, by the way. For not being weird about the whole not from the same dimension thing.”

Amanita smiled. “I did say I was different, right?” She smirked, and got straight to business. “I never said I was a diplomat. The reason I’m marked as different by others is that I was born during one of the greatest storms in the history of my world. According to my father, it was a sign I was... odd.” As she said this, she pulled up her sleeve, revealing the hilt of a hidden dagger. “I’m better with staffs. Anyway, I was more violent than the other children. I stood outside in storms, loved the fire and the way it both razed and regrew, and adored the predators and their ways. And I believe the only defence is a good offence, meaning that I trained in combat. Most of us druids do, but we don’t use it until necessary.” She shook down her sleeves, and began rebraiding her hair. “Does that answer your question?”

“Ok, so the Circle of the Land is a Druidic Circle made up of different circles for different.... I guess you’d call it Biomes? So you’d have Circle of the Coast who specialise in water based magic and rituals, Circle of the Arctic for ice related things, that sort of thing. They all make up the Circle of the Land. My father is the current head of the Circle of the Great Oak, which is the head of all the Circles. We worship the god Pan, and work to maintain order between the clans and nature’s wishes. We’re diviners and diplomats mainly. That’s where I’m different.” Amanita sighed, rubbing her neck and playing with a loose piece of hair.

“Well, as I said, my name is Amanita Stipe, I’m a Druid, and that’s it really. I’m in line to be the successor of a branch of the Circle of The Land, and... never mind. But do you have a question for me? I’ve been rattling off questions for the past few minutes, I’m sure you’re interested in me.” She shrugged but smiled again, and picked at her nails.

Amanita nodded, a small smile once again taking over her face. “Ok then. So, seeing as we’re goung to be... working together, as it stands, tell me about yourselves. That’s my one huge question. Who. Are. You?” She asked, looking between the two boys in front of her.

Amanita finally gets ahold of herself, and fidgets for a second, before asking another question. “Do you... uh, do you know how to send me back? I mean it’s not that this place isn’t nice it’s just I’m sort of scared that even after all this great menace thing is over... can I go home?”

(Ack sorry for late replies)

Amanita laughed, fully and wholly. “Sorry, sorry, not laughing at the immense danger thing. But you know that there could have been so many ways for this to go wrong right?” She covers her hand with her mouth as she laughs.

Amanita shrugs. “There’s a residue of magic on me. Some sort of ritual?” She asks, but it’s almost a statement and not a question. She stands in front of the cot, rocking from her toes to her heels, knowing that the boys are most likely sizing her up.

Amanita clambers our of the cot, and tries not to fall. “In a sense. Communing with nature and animals, healing, growth and repair. That sort of thing.” She says as she straightens out the kinks in her tunic and flattens the stray hairs.

(Yo you know that Robbies from is broken on mobile right? Maybe it’s just me?)
