The chimes abruptly stopped, filling the air with unbearable silence. Only the snow falling around them provided muffled noises. And then, a pile of snow moved. Something snapped around the sergeant's legs, dragging him under the snow. Creatures shot out of the snow, dragging more and more soldiers into he snow with them. They could barely be seen, as if they were made of snow themselves.
