Since this suggestion was originally only for the "strongest pokemon" let's look at that.

Of the three people there, one has 0 medals, one has 1 medal, and one has six.

Pokemon can only ever be on there once and can only win a medal or have a medal link to them once, because they have to be hatched when the medal rally starts.

This is the part of the suggestion I 100% support, because it would be nice to have a special pokemon with a medal.

Now lets look at the other three, which I would like to repeat, are linked to users, not pokemon.

Of the most eggs hatched, currently only one of the three people is a "repeat winner" (the other two people have 0 and 3 medals respectively).

Say the "bonus" was a +.02% chance was hatching a shiny - this would encourage people not to participate in the most eggs hatched in the next round, because they can use that small percentage to do a shiny hunt instead.

In the most berries fed, only one person has a medal right now, and only one medal, so once again - not repeat people.

The prize for this one should be more balanced, perhaps the winner's berries will give +.25% exp for the 15 days after they win. More people would be encouraged to enter because they can help others with this bonus, or just help themselves.

The berry medal is also one of the most balanced to get, as you have to save up a LOT of berries beforehand to get the medal (I've done it before, I had to buy over 20k berries in a variety of flavors, and you have to work at it every single day)

The coinflip medal rally this time, once again only one person is a "constant winner".

But a Prize Exchange discount of maybe -1% off (bronze) -2.5% off(silver) and -5% off (gold) would encourage more people to play as well.

And just because you've never won a medal rally, doesn't mean it needs to be removed. Whenever I participate, I plan it out ahead of time, and I've gotten medals all three times.
