Ivy quickly puts away her IPad. Too nervous to play a game. The second she does that something breaks down the door. She lunges for the kitchen knife. Grabbing it in her hand she slowly backs up, not wanting the thing to get near her. When she touches the wall with her back, she pushes off it and stabs it. All that seemed to do was anger it and it growls and punches her. Biting her lip to keep from crying out, she runs up the basement stairs, but the thing breaks the stairs, and she falls, with her legs getting caught under it. She yelps and squirms under it, and the shape stares down at her. She stabs it in the eye and it disintegrates into slime. She feels no satisfaction, Ivy's truck under the stairs, and her legs just went numb. "Someone help me!" She screams.

Ivy nods. "I actually just met Mist, who was in the rain. She sure looks better than she did, already." She looks out of the house. "I'd better be going." She says, eyes fixed on her house. "Call me if you need help ever." She points at her grey-painted house. "I'll be there. C'mon Mist." Mist mews in protest but follows her. Ivy pauses at the door, and runs out as quickly as she can, so not to get drenched.

	Mist runs out of the basement suddenly. "Mist?!" She follows her new cat, and the cat stops at a house, where Ivy had heard a scream. Ivy opens the door, and sees a girl, looking at a unmoving cat. Mist walks over to the cat, and nuzzles her. Ivy stands there awkwardly. [Read more]

	The cat looks at her and meows. "... I'll call you Mist." She decides, referencing her paws, which looked like wisps of mist on a black sky. Mist mews, obviously liking her new name. Ivy smiles and hugs Mist. [Read more]
