She doubled over and began to laugh hysterically for a solid minute before managing to catch her breath and sit back upright, still somewhat laughing. She used the back of her forearm to flip her hair back and out of her face, revealing her stupid grin and an "are you sure about that" look. "Pfft, lose what? The shattered pieces of your hopes and dreams?" Mei laughed some more, struggling a little bit due to her lack of breath. She raised her hand up and did the "oh stop it" hand flick before continuing. "Don't worry, I cherish that s**t, I'll neeeeeveeeerrr lose that!" She giggled some more before finally taking her first look at the first card on the ground, then at her deck, then at Idris. As much as she wanted to shuffle, her background would immediately out her as a cheater, and to be honest, she probably would've. Oh well, she could play fair for once, right? No sneaky tricks, no loopholes, just a simple game of Uno, right? "I'll let you do it," She replied, her grin still plastered on her face. Besides, the person who delt the cards goes last, and going first usually gave an advantage, right? She didn't really know, Uno wasn't exactly her strong suit. She had a long day already and hardly ever got to catch a break... Gotta be in tip-top shape to get the most out of this experience, right? "Ehh..." Mei dragged on, muttering quietly. "Already did that, and there's not many people I haven't managed to piss off today..." She pulled her legs closer to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, resting her face behind her knees. An idea sparked in Mei's head, and her face lightened up a little. Somehow, through the power of plot, Mei pulled out a mini packet of Uno cards, the box being no bigger than her palm. Better than whatever Darcy and Sawyer were doing, right? But... What now? What was she going to do? Mei pondered this as she slowly walked away from everyone, only to spot a familiar mop of black hair. Oh, so he somehow made it here too. Guess she wasn't leaving this room after all. He should probably get curtains for that, such an inconvenient spot for a window... Another lovely thing he woke up to was the feeling of every bone in his body aching, every muscle containing the feeling of being worked to death. Ugh... Seriously? Couldn't they at least give him some painkillers, Aspirin, an ice pack even? Speaking of them... "Go to The Rotting Heart. Tell no one, not even your family. One word and your fate will be sealed. Good luck, have fun!" All those words did was echo in his newly awoken mind, filling the space that would've been his own thoughts. He had strange memories too... Memories of the past... Week? Month? Kai couldn't be bothered to remember that, but what he did remember was the fact that he was told about other "participants", others who had to deal with that hell too... That guy did say "tell no one", but they had all seen each other's faces, they knew each other's names, but... None of them knew what the wanna-be Frankenstein did to each other. Eh, oh well, he probably wouldn't encounter them until he reached the location he was kinda forced into, right? With a pained stretch and a few winces, Kairien Bouuls finally managed to get out of bed and get in the shower. The running water made his thoughts rush as well, odd fragments of memories and sentences were pretty much the only thing filling his head. None of it was pleasant, and honestly, he got so tired of it that he made sure to get out as soon as possible. After getting ready, which took longer than he would like to admit, he said goodbye to... His room, I guess, then grabbed his keys and walked out the door. Nothing in his mind in the past hour or two ever even thought about what might've changed while he was there. Or maybe... Kai didn't want to think about it. The man knew exactly what had become of him, what that snobby guy in a white jacket had done to him- no, all of them. It wasn't hard to figure out, especially with those prominent memories blaring in his head. Maybe it was best not to think about it, act like nothing had ever happened, maybe then he wouldn't break whatever rule he had been suddenly forced to follow. Tell no one. Sign-Ups Oh, what a lovely day it is! The sun is shining through your windows, the birds are chirping all around you, and your pillow and blanket comfort you as your eyes slowly open. Today is a day totally like every other, nothing different in the slightest. Her true emotions, thoughts, and even motives are almost never predictable unless she wants you to know, making her someone you don't want to make enemies of. She is erratic and mischievous, constantly toying with anyone who was unfortunate enough to come near. I'm not good with this stuff, so the rest is TBRPD Their Desire/Wish: Mei just wants to have fun, or in her words, "bring the world to its knees, their misery brings me great joy!" Backstory (Has to relate to desire/wish): Mei doesn't remember much of her childhood, but if it's not important, then it doesn't matter, right? Can't remember what happened to any family or friends, and she apparently has no solid motive for anything she does. Later in her life though, she obtained a long list of various crimes that are highly concerning, murder of course being one of them. Since she has no family to tie her down, and most are too afraid of her to become friends, she has done whatever she wanted for the past few years. Mei does whatever seems fun to her, even if it's along the lines of "crimes against humanity", which is all she really wanted to do in life. She believes the human race is weak and soft, which is why she has no remorse for the things she does, and Mei believes that whatever she's doing is a perfect example of "survival of the fittest" I have no clue what I'm saying tbh, so this edgy character's backstory will be made up as I go along Talents?: Mei is very talented when it comes to reading people, and she's learned to use her knowledge for ungodly manipulation. She is also quite agile and does well with blades, and her quick thinking is also pretty handy. Other than that, she's good at being annoying.
