Clarisse had gone back to her room, in order to get a little workout done without distraction, once she'd seen that Leaf was alright. When started to feel like she couldn't take it anymore, she got up, and started strolling around the Academy grounds breathing slowly and deeply.
The burning sensation she felt in her lungs, legs, and core felt good, as she knew that meant she'd become even stronger. Even with this, she still walked conseratively, with a weird, almost limping, gait.

	Instintively, Clarisse went for another parry, and was again stumped as the attack lightly slashed her side. Insantly, she skipped back; she then grabbed a shield, making her weapon lighter so that she could move as freely wielfding it with just one hand. Again, she charged, slamming her shield into Iola, before going for another overhead slash. [Read more]

"Not at all. Weapons..." Clarisse swung her axe again "...brawling..." she used the axe's momentum to follow up into a spin-kick "...dirty tactics, whatever." She then grabbed a handful of sand, and threw it towards Iola's face.
She finally close the distance, grabbing him by the throat. "Even grappling, if you want..."
Chuckling, Clarisse released Iola, taking a defensive stance once again.

	Clarisse parried the thrust with her axe, getting stumped by Iola's sudden movement. She knew she'd have to read his moves and strike before he even finished his attack, if she wanted to win before getting exhausted. Her body moved almost on its own, delivering an overhead slash towards the young heir of Fraldarius. [Read more]

(Heh, "axed"... anyway, the Brraker skills work exactly, IIRC, as the Triangle did in its first iteration, in Genealogy of the Holy War, FE4.

Also, 3H is my second favourite, right between Echoes and Gaiden. Then it's Sacred Stones, Blaxing Sword, and Fates, that's so high on the list only because it's easy to pick and play and have fun, despite being bad in almost any other regard)

Clarisse kept pushing, tearing a hole in her uniform and ignoring the pain as the lance tip pushed against her sternum. At last, she managed toto power through, the lance slipping from Leaf's hand.
Clarisse, with a triumphant grunt, tackled Leaf to the ground and pinned his arms under her legs, leaning over his face, smirking: "So, do you give?"
She hadn't noticed, but her bra was somewhat exposed by the hole in the uniform.

	Clarisse sprung up, reaching for her axe. She studied her oppinent for a moment, then threw her axe in an horizontal arc. Another half second, and she tried to tackle him again, but lower, so that he couldn't wedge his lance in between them. She figured she could make him submit, if she overpowered him in close quarter. "Very good... I really need to go all out, then!" Clarisse called, trying to get the retreating Leaf with a lunge. When that failed, she ditched her weapon, rolling forward, and speared Leaf to the ground. (As in, she tackled him. She does not have a spear on her)
