Was this really just a game then? No. Yohan shook his head, he mustn't take on this mentality. Not when his life's on the line. He doesn't have the authority yet to consider everything as a game. Staring at Percival, before glancing back to look at Elias. Everything was just so strange, what was Percival hiding from them? Why did he seems to prepared for everything? His easy-going attitude put the ever-serious Yohan off. No, not just Percival, many things has put Yohan off in just a single day. From this wretched day.. to just everything! "Hah. This.. This is so ridiculous." Yohan scoffed quietly, and brushed his bangs back with his right hand, showing a sarcastic smile. The feeling of being played in the hands of another was just sickening! He says his name is Perceval, and clearly, this guy was much more powerful than them, and was in a rather gleeful mood despite the new situation. It felt like.. he expected everything or has done this plenty of times beforehand. There was just so much things wrong about this guy, and Yohan didn't like that. So many questions and mysteries, and what did he mean by there was only supposed to be 2 people who ended up surviving in this cabin? How would he know there would be only 2 people who would end up surviving? "How much do you know?" He asked with a wary expression. Unlike a certain women who wanted to try her luck with every person she meets, Yohan was much more wary and on guard. How come he didn't know there would be so many psychopaths in the world? But aside that, he noticed that Elias has four instead of 3 constellations vying for him. Does that mean that there could be even more constellations who would notice them in the future? Somehow this reminded him of a streaming service, about how one would donate money to sponsor a streamer they liked to motivate them to do a certain action. But this time, he was the one being streamed, and these 'constellations' are the one who will be deciding whether he lives or not. This did not sit will in his stomach, he didn't like his life in the hands of another being. Rather, he'd like it for it to be the other way around. Perhaps, that's why tyrannical constellations liked him. But just like other tyrants, Yohan liked being in control. So.. does that necessary meant that he needs to choose a sponsor now? That women, Atlas, was clearly younger than him, or she works as a cosmetologist. Yohan is more willing to believe the former. But anyways, the other's shrewd, and clearly cunning personality.. Is too similar to his, and Yohan didn't like that. Just like how he could read the other well, the same could be said for her. But, just as she has said, there are only 4 of them surviving, and no time to spare, it would be idiotic and just stupidly stubborn to not work with eachother. But giving in and saying the other was right.. did not sit well in his stomach. But what could he do? It's not like he could argue back when he would clearly be in the wrong for doing so, thus creating a rift amongst the rest of the survivors. No matter which way Yohan looks at it, it'll would be a losing battle for him. So.. for his own survival, let's be lowkey for now. "Yes, Yohan Park. Pleasure to meet you." (Yohan still envies her luck), the next were a (surprisingly young) teenager (named Blake) who held a book that was covered in blood. Before finally, moving on to the stammering (semi-insane(?)) Elias Winter. Compared to everyone, he was the one covered in the most blood. As Ayran is an experienced merchant, he could easily tell the quality and price of such vase from just a glance. It was almost sad that Yohan had to kill it, despite the fact that it did nothing wrong. But unfortunately, society didn't exist no more, but rather it was a jungle, where survival to the fittest was the golden rule. What did she do, that made her complete the first quest? All she did was slap a mosquito- Wait. Yes! He was right. Suddenly Yohan was pushed back against the people fighting against each other in the train. But that didn't bother him. He knew the true way to pass the first requirement. The holographic screen never specified which living organisms it was required to kill. It just told them to kill something that was living regardless of it's species. Luckily, he noticed this opening early on, and didn't panic immediately, or else who knows, he may already be dead meat that was used as a stepping stone for others. If he was going to die, Yohan wanted to die with dignity. But unfortunately, perhaps it was because mother luck didn't want to look at him especially today, no matter how hard Yohan searched he couldn't manage find a single bug. Shieta straightened her back, and grabbed a handkerchief from her duffle bag. It was as if she had everything and anything in there. She wiped her hand that was covered in sticky blood of her own, before stuffing it back in her bag. It it weren't for the faint stain of blood in the corner of her lips, or how Shieta's face was even more paler than usual or even how Shieta's fingertips were slightly trembling, it would seem as if nothing was wrong. But going against Elvira's worried gaze, it gave Shieta but no choice but to force herself to act strong. It was strange how feelings could change a person this much. "It's.. nothing. But now... Yohan sighed, that isn't the main purpose of this post. But rather their objective was. It seems that they already know their minor goals for this game. [1. Kill 1(one) living being.] [2. Escape the Train] [3. (additional) Kill 1 3(three)-Star enemy, [Sea Serpent].] [4. (additional) Obtain the sponsorship of a [Fable]-Grade [Constellation].] Though.. wasn't it too hard for a beginning quest? No? Yohan finally set down his phone, and combed his hair backward with his hands, and let out a silent yet crealy tired sigh. The first one was already going against humanities morals. Second one wasn't too bad, but the third and fourth was confusing. Where are they going to find sea serpants? And finally, what and how where they going to gain a constellation's sponsorship? No, what are constellations anyways? They couldn't be actual stars in the skies right? Even if they were, how in the world would they gain the sponsorship was a literal ball of rock? Suddenly a loud swish was heard, outside of the train window, a tail of a huge monster appeared. Suppose that answered his third requirement. Leaning back against his seat, perhaps instead of worrying about the rest, he should figure how in the world should he fulfill the first requirement? First of all killing a real human being was out of the question no matter how much he thinks about it. Yohan isn't that desperate yet. Plus, if you think about it in the gamemaster's perfective, wouldn't it be boring if most of the players were killed in the beginning? There must be a loophole, he just has to think harder. Wait. [1.
