It was rare for Wither to lose her composure, much less to her friends, but it shattered the moment Tony touched her. Her narrowed, hate-filled eyes were luminescent with power and with a flick of her orbs Tony's hand was forced away from her and towards his chest. "Don't," she growled, but all maliciousness was quickly washed out by realization. She cleared her throat and used that brief moment to regather herself, her faint, knowing smile returning. "Sorry about that," she said quickly, followed by her point.
"It was certainly a talk that we had, and you didn't seem to put up much of a fight about it. It's better if the situation is handled earlier than later--clearly, we're running out of time. And it's handled now; this wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. I swear on my father's grave that there is no way the airship is unsafe or unfit in all circumstances. When have I ever been reckless, Tony?"
Spectrum squirmed in the background, both worried that a fight would break out and unsettled by Tony's sudden irritability. She had never seen him quite like this and held Kaleidoscope close to her in reassurance.

"Good to know," he said, memories of all of the dangerous dragons he'd met surfacing. Would she still say that if she knew about all of the crap I've done? He thought, flicking a bit of water back her way.
Adeline swam up to them, her red eyes glimmering playfully and with life. She bobbed about, not to question or encourage Rogue to swim, but to simply be in the company of them. "How're you feeling? Is the water helping?" She asked, casually looking back at Adriane.
Raven came forth only moments later, as he needed time to consider getting close to Rogue. He was comfortable near Adeline and was getting quite used to Adriane, so he decided that it was worth it.

Rogue's eyes narrowed slightly but he quickly fixed his face to be less threatening. Threatening never seemed to work out for him. "Yup. Father was a human. You don't have a problem with that, do you?" He turned to her and simply smiled, waiting for a response.

"Wow, that was... terribly direct." A faint, lopsided grin was on his face when he spoke in an amused way. He hadn't known Adriane for too long, but Rogue seemed to have misinterpreted her personality. "I won't freeze out the pool, if that's what you're worried about," he said jokingly, although with a hint of reassurance. The last thing he wanted was for Adriane to be afraid of him, and he always assumed the worst about people.

Rogue laughed lightly, although not in a mocking way. "I can swim, I promise, but I prefer not to," he told her, although grateful she was trying to help. Adeline and Raven put the space that was given to use, occasionally splashing a wall of water towards each other in a sibling-like banter.

They both greeted her, although Adeline half-sang it. Rogue sat next to Adriane, not being much of a swimmer but wanting to be around friends anyway. The water was a bit too warm for his tastes.

He inhaled sharply when she grabbed him--Crystal kept throwing him off guard--and lightly placed his fingertips in between her shoulder blades. "O-okay," he croaked, his words muffled by her hair. Jack hadn't realized that Crystal had become so attached; he supposed that it was easy, with both of them being so alone but hoping so bad for trust. "We stay together, then. It's a deal."

Jack couldn't see her face, but he knew she was on the brink of crying. "I don't know," he said, gently, "I never really know what I'm doing if that makes sense." He paused and took a moment to listen to her shaky breath. "Do you want me to?"

Raven's senses alerted him to the shuffle of footsteps coming from the hallway. He swam towards the door and was relieved to see that it was just Adeline and Rogue, both in swimgear. Rogue was still wearing his necklace and it drew Raven's attention--it indicated something towards his past, but he didn't know what. "Come in," he said, motioning more towards Adeline than Rogue.

Wisty's mind warred between confusion and pain. It hurt more than it should've and she brushed it off by telling herself that she was being sensitive--Crystal wouldn't spend as much time around her as she did if she didn't like her. "You do you," she said, locking eyes with the weather-hybrid and making sure that she saw her pout. All the sincere bits of her hurt had been pushed to the back of her brain. She waved Allium over and easily started up a conversation.

"Alrighty~" Eclipse sang, sitting down on a tree stump. She watched the wind blow through the trees and had faint memories of getting rosy cheeks from the stunning cold that her little town experienced, but the moment she lingered on it the thought snapped away and seemed to be nothing more than her active imagination. She didn't get cold anymore, she realized, but whenever the sun shone on her skin it felt like she was burning. They didn't let her out in the sun much, anyway.

Crysia hissed the most obscene string of curse words that she could under her breath, her teeth grating so hard against each other that she feared they would break. "What happened?" Reign asked, the worry washing over his face for a moment. They were too protective of each other. "Almost got my foot caught by a rock. It's fine," she replied, although he seemed a bit skeptical.
Celestial swooped down from the sky and Crysia held out her forearm for her raven. Celestial's feathers were ruffled in an annoyed way, her starlit eyes murderous. Crysia knew that she sensed a presence and could probably hear every word that Jackson had said. We'll talk later, she promised, hoping to avoid the conversation altogether.

"Ah, alright. Have Mavis and them come back yet?" He asked, only to be interrupted by an elongated chirp that seemed to be skywards. Robin and Skye's heads snapped up immediately--Fallow's reactions weren't as finely-tuned as theirs, so she was a bit late--to see Venom, crouched on the ceiling fan. His tail flicked with the energy of a dog's as he leaped from the ceiling fan and onto Robin, excited that his owner had returned. Robin, who was not that strong, was knocked to the ground when met by his Beast. Skye laughed in the background.

"We'd all be a little better off, wouldn't we?" He said, much softer than her. Jack's paranoia-washed eyes skimmed the crowded bus, searching for any eavesdroppers, but he realized that most passengers were distracted with their own soft conversations or headphones of some sort. He leaned closer to her, anyway, so that he could mumble in her ear, "It doesn't fix everything, but we'll be further from the war when we leave."

"How's it embarrassing? Wolves are great," Fallow mumbled, trailing off to focus on a particularly lengthy sentence. The back door opened abruptly and Robin and Skye walked in, Skye's hair tangled and bearing a few leaves. She huffed and they sat on the couch across from Fallow and Maxwell. Robin scanned the room quickly. "Where'd Alex and Draco go?" He asked, noticing the silence.

Elli's eyes traced Dexter until he disappeared, to which he looked around and the group and plopped down by the edge of the cave, his legs crisscrossed and his sword propped up right next to him. "I'll take the watch?" He suggested although it was more rhetorical than anything. He never slept too much anyway, and he knew that sleep would only lead to a particularly bad night for him. "Are you sure?" Evie asked, her tone softening. There was a genuine look of concern in her eyes that suggested she felt bad for letting him do it, but he nodded confidently.
"I'm better at fighting than I seem," he promised, smiling brightly at her. Evie awkwardly stood there, looking around and waiting for Oliver or Ivy to claim first pick on one of the blankets. She ran a hand up her arm, clearly noticing the drop in temperature but not addressing it.

Dawn sighed in exasperation and worry for Justin, gave him a soft 'Alright' and turned away to find anything else to do. She knew that it would be best to leave him to cool off for a while but her maternal instincts were screaming as she walked away. She was the middle child, but Minnow was always too reckless to be alone and Fallow was too soft to make it on her own. Her mood dampened immediately upon thinking of her lost siblings--every day her hope for her sister diminished and every night she dreamed of Minnow, who she was unable to save. She hadn't seen his death but that made it even worse, in her mind. Dawn turned away and climbed up the loft.

"Yeah, but you're fluffy," Fallow cooed, mindlessly stroking his drooped ears as she flipped through an old novel that she had found on the bookshelf. It was more tedious and boring than the books that they had in the Fantasy camp, and that was definitely saying something. Fawn nestled in her lap and she seemed to be in a much better mood than she had been that morning.

Jack's ears swiveled her way. He had moved around more than her, but had always stayed on that side of the kingdom--after all, a broke homeless kid on foot could hardly travel one area--only to return to the same area. It was where he grew up, and he grew up around the same orphanage rumors that Crystal had. It was almost chilling. "I never heard about the marketplace thing," he said, softly. "For us, it was always army or sometimes death. The police force was really brutal to kids on the street, from what I heard, but that might just be because I'm a fox."

Eclipse scooped Dusk off of her shoulder and cradled him in her hands, appreciating his offer but shaking her head rapidly. "But I don't want to take energy from you. Especially because I don't really need it. Silver said it was because I had trouble focusing, not because of energy." She paused before adding, "Rhythe said that magic isn't too important if you can fight well enough, but she thinks that I have too much potential to be wasted and Silver doesn't want me to start fighting yet. He says that she says that because she doesn't like to use magic and she's not too good at it."

The disorientation passed and Crysia was aware in only seconds. The voice in her head, the inability to resist the command that had been given to her, and the searing heat right above her hipbone was all too familiar. Reign was still behind her, struggling to shake it off--he had his memory wiped, after all, and that always took more time. She swore under her breath with the most extensive vocabulary she could muster, turned to Reign and cocked her head.
She feigned obliviousness, "Are you sure you're okay?" The binding was fresh and she wasn't strong enough to resist even a simple order or hold back. "You hit your head pretty hard there, bud," she said, and recognition sparked in Reign's eyes. Crysia gritted her teeth beneath her lies. Of course it makes sense to him, she thought, disgusted by her own manipulation. Anger burned hotter than her incantation as she told Reign that she was worried about him and it was best for them to head back, walking alongside him and back to the group.
