Ok, I understood how people interpreted shadow/Deemo now.

I think Deemo was doing us a favor. If he claims he's Godfather, then he can effectively draw out the REAL godfather by simple provocation.
Unless he is the real Godfather.
Then he's trying to make us think he's innocent.
As I said before, shadow has a history for being straight-forward with word choice.
And I think shadow took him seriously and said there was no way he could be godfather, just because.
I think Deemo is godfather, personally.
I know this makes me sound aggressive, but I think shadow was a tad too merciful.

Chakra looked uneasy. He mumbled something about water being simply atrocious.
Creme De La Creme smiles sickeningly.
'MMM....MM MMM MMMAGGGGJHH MHHHH MFFFFFFHHHHHHHHHHH.'
Translation: Oh, is the little candle afraid of the, swcary, wcary ocean?
Chakra's golden flame flicked in anger.
'MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK MGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH HMMMMMMMMM'
Translation: Would you be a dear and take off my candlewax? I'll take care of the little...leaking problem.

Chakra removed the candlewax.
Creme De La Creme produced a huge lilypad to land on.
She was still in the candle's arms when they landed.
"Astria, you are quite...charming for a candle. Grace my ears with your voice once more."

Chakra remained silent.
1) HE HATED BEING CALLED ASTRIA.
2) HE HATED HER.
3) His voice was nothing special. Well, unless you liked voices that made you melt like butter, a voice that's hypnotically musical and lulling.

"Speak, good candle, speak." she pleaded with her heart.

Chakra ignored her and pointed at an island.

"Why are you pointing at that piece of land?" she faked being oblivious.

Chakra resigned.

"Please. Water makes me feel sick. Be so kind as to navigate us to land."

Creme De La Creme swooned again and drove toward the island.
