Idris' face broke into a small smile at the sound of a familiar voice. He hastily shook his hair into its usual position, obscuring his face, and went to retrieve his bag. "T-thanks." There was a small photograph tucked into the corner. A photo of Idris and an older woman. The picture was a few months old, but there was still a spark in Idris' eyes back then. A hint of a smile. That was before everything took a turn for the worse. There also lay several silver rings, some embedded with black stones. Some twisted into the shape of serpents. Most of the writing in his notebooks were in Greek, with the additional footnote added in Japanese, or whatever language he felt like. [Read more] |

His eyes flicked up to watch her go. Idris muttered a quiet goodbye. Maybe they did have something in common, Interesting. He smiled. .... Idris felt slightly jealous. He could be happy, right? He wasn't some sort of...emo loser was he? Like they all said? He grunted. He'd show them. Idris Kallikrates, a party animal! No, that sounded stupid. Also sounded like hell. A party, so many people. People. Ugh. But still. He couldn't sit here, looking all moody. He glanced at Mei one last time, before he got up and walked off, bag left behind. Now, where to? Maybe he'd stumble on a body on his walk. That would be interesting, and a welcome surprise. Things were getting boring anyways. Idris parted his hair, so he could actually see. "Howdy!" Saeko exclaimed, stepping in front of Mei. "Sorry, not sorry, for suddenly scaring you, m'lady." They chuckled. "It's gettin' a 'lil quiet 'round here...too quiet for my liking. So I thought I'd come annoy any Ultimate who crosses my threshold, aaaand, that lucky fella was you!" Saeko spoke quickly, their accent mixing with a high-pitched tone was the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard to any poor Ultimate who had to endure the constant noise that leaked out of Saeko's mouth.
