After a while, Chrome came back. It seemed that Athena and Steele were unconscious, but couldn't been seen as a lot of their bodies were covered in bandages. However, a few odd lumps could be seen beneath Athena's bandages, and the red markings on her scales were glowing dimly. The guards dragged them back into their cells, and chained Athena to the walls once again. Chrome noticed a few of the bars on the cells had broken. She gestured for the guards to fix them before anyone broke out. A few guards stayed behind fixing the bars, while the others left with Chrome.

"You'll sleep better if you never find out." Chrome sneered before slamming the door shut. The guards pulled Steele and Athena into a darkened room before chaining them to operating tables. A faint whispering could be heard coming from the center of the room; it muttered something about steel, tar and lies. A loud drilling noise came from behind the door, followed by various loud shrieks, which was then followed by more drilling and screaming.

Chrome lifted up her hand. "Bring her." She pointed to Athena. "And him." She pointed towards Steele. Steele angrily hissed, sounding like a snake mixed with a broken coffee grinder. Athena loudly hissed. She tried lunging forwards, but the chains kept her still. The guards strode forwards, roughly attaching chains to Steele and dragging him to the door. A significantly larger number of guards grabbed Athena's chains, pulling her out. She could hardly move, despite her efforts.

Athena tried shaking Jig's tail away from her. This wasn't very effective, as she could hardly move because of all of the chains. She returned to her defensive, angry state quickly. "Nope. We barely escaped, and this place is even tighter than the old one. I swear, if I see Scar-face again I'll-" She was cut off by the door suddenly slamming open, and Chrome stood in the doorway; a few guards stood behind her. Athena instantly roared at her, trying to pull away and attack her.

Athena chuckled again. "MEAN TO YOU? Were you forced to wear shackles every single day for years? Did you have your fangs ripped out of your head, unable to ANYTHING BUT WATCH THE BLOOD POUR OUT OF YOUR MOUTH? WERE YOU?" She screamed. She was still unable to forget what Chrome had done. She didn't say it, but it haunted her. That was the reason she stayed awake longer than everyone else. Afraid to sleep, thinking she'd wake up back in that lab. And it actually happened.

	Athena chuckled to herself. "How do you think she got that scar?" She hissed, sounding menacing. She bared her teeth; it would have been a lot more threatening if she had her fangs. She traced her claw along the side of her face in a way that looked similar to shape of Chrome's scar. [Read more]

Athena glared at Hornes again. Then, she noticed something. All of these dragons had robotic parts, just like her. The one with red-and-black wings was pretty much just a robot with an eye-patch. "I know what goes on here. Not recognise anything?" She made her metallic plates visible, and lifted her jaw to reveal a large amount of metal implanted into the spot on her gums where her fangs should be; those were the extendable fangs that could only be used by scientists who controlled her.

"No, no, no, no, no.... Please say no.... No..." Athena stuttered. This wasn't the same lab, but she could tell that it was Scar-face's work. She was ignoring the other Cyborgs as her mind raced, trying to comprehend what was happening. However, at Hornes' insult, she snapped to attention. "Have you been forced to attack your friends? Have you had to fight your way to the best dragon in the world to save her, only to be shot down?" She snarled, shouting loudly.

Athena started slowly waking up, wearily opening her eyes. She tried getting to her feet, but hardly move because of the large number of chains keeping her down. She looked up, seeing the bright lights. She looked down, seeing the cold, tiled floor. Then, the most horrifying sight of all; the chains covering almost her entire body. She shrieked in fear, and her fang-less gums could be seen.

Creek shuddered. A few years slipped out her eyes. These were tears of sadness and fear. Fear, for her fear of what was happening. Sadness, for the sadness that she felt that they could not save Barry and Athena. She didn't want to admit it, but was significantly more afraid about what was happening to Athena.

Athena, still unconscious, was heaved out of the truck. The guards placed her into a cell next to the new Cyborgs. The cell that she was placed into had always been there, never used, always empty. Athena's chains attached to an absurd number of hooks lined the walls, and it was significantly more claustrophobic than all of the other cells. Before Athena came, it looked as if the cell had been specifically made for someone. Now, it was clear who was meant to fill that void.

Steele curiously looked over at the new dragon. He'd never seen a RainWing before, thus he was very confused. "HEY! WHO'S THE NEW GUY?" He shouted at the guards as they left. Chrome poked her head through the doorway. "Someone I've been waiting for for a very long time. You'll get to know her very well." She hissed, then left again. Magnolia looked slightly afraid. "That was ominous." She said, thinking out loud.

	Creek gulped in fear. "B..but... What about Barry and A...A...Athena?" She gulped, afraid of what the answer could be. She heard a car's wheels pounding across rough terrain. The truck sped up even more, going at top speed. They quickly reached the lab, and entered through a secret entrance; nobody saw them. [Read more]

Some of the guard tried to shove B4RR7 away while the others hauled 4TH3N4 into the back of the truck. The were hooks on the walls of the truck which they attached her chains to. One of them quickly tightened her muzzle, then slammed the door shut and locked it. Chrome and all of the guards rushed into the truck, and sped off into the distance. They went faster than any dragon could, so it was near impossible to catch up.

Creek looked up at Crystal."O..okay." She stuttered. She hoped that Athena and Barry were okay. She quickly made a hook which she attached to Petri's cage and pulled it along, tentatively stepping towards the exit. She gulped with fear that something bad has happened.

Athena nodded excitedly. She threw the phone to the ground, crushing it beneath her claws. Then, something sharp and painful pierced her neck. She collapsed to ground. She looked up wearily as her vision blurred, only to see Chrome stepping out from the trees, wielding a gun. Then, everything went black. She'd been knocked out.

Chrome had shot a dart perfectly into 4TH3N4's neck. She aimed it at B4RR7, and fired at him too. It wasn't really a huge deal if he got away. She had exactly what she wanted. The guards rushed out of the trees. Some of them started chaining and muzzling 4TH3N4, while the others brandished tasers and guns at B4RR7.

Athena roared into the phone again. "I DON'T KNOW! BUT SCAR-FACE IS SOMEHOW INSIDE IT!" She hissed, looking at Barry. Chrome chuckled from the other end of the phone, entertained at the Rainwing's lack of knowledge.

Chrome managed to find out where the signal was coming from. She rushed to the area in a large, black truck, and a large number of surly guards came with her. They were hidden behind some trees, and nobody could see them. Chrome looked over, quietly loading her tranquilizer gun. Most the guards did the same, readying themselves to charge on the Cyborgs.

Athena looked at the odd rectangle. It was buzzing, and making a ringing noise. She pressed the large, green button that had a phone on it. After a few seconds, a familiar voice came out of the device. The voice she thought that she'd run from, and would never hear again. "PETRI? COME BACK TO WORK, NOW. I... uh.... CAN HAVE YOU ARRESTED IF YOU DON'T!" Chrome yelled from the device. Athena, in a state of shock and horror, started roaring into the phone.

Chrome recognized that roar. It was the most angered, screeching thing she'd ever heard. 4TH3N4. This was her chance to get at least one of those scumbags back. She ran to her computer, tracking the signal from Petri's phone.

Steele continued staring at the door after Chrome had left. He was completely silent, confused as to what the shiny thing on Chrome was. He looked down at his body, staring at the smooth steel plates. He knew exactly what that thing was. Magnolia seemed to have come to the same conclusion after glaring at Steele again.

Chrome changed into new clothes that hadn't been torn. She decided to call Petri again. Despite not wanting to admit it, she wanted Petri back. The phone started dialing.

Athena grabbed Petri, and shoved her into the cage. In the distance, she heard something weird. Like a faint dinging. "I'm gonna go out. Crystal, if anything happens to Creek, I will hold you personally responsible." She said, sounding slightly threatening. She headed out towards the sound, only to discover an odd, rectangular device with some buttons on it.

Creek gazed at the mess Athena made. She paced over and slowly formed it into a well-made cage. The bars were thick and strong. Athena nodded approvingly, and some of her scales turned pink again. Creek looked at Crystal. "I don't k...know." She felt nervous even at the thought of staying near a human at all times.

Chrome flung the door open angrily. "WILL YOU MAGGOTS JUST SHUT U-" She was cut off as Steele lunged through the bars, tearing off a large chunk of her clothes. For a second, it revealed something metallic and shiny. It glowed a bright red seemingly constantly. Chrome quickly ran out of the room, covering the area.

	"Ah, alright." Athena got up, slowly pulling her tail away from Creek's. A lot of the pink disappeared. She placed Petri on the ground next to her as she started trying to tie some sticks together into something that looked a bit less like a cage, and more like a natural disaster. [Read more]
