Duskwind nodded, and gently moved from Ashpelt's side as Hawkpool took his place. He moved past her, their pelts brushing briefly, as he padded into the tree line. He followed his nose to a dry, rocky spot, and found some cobwebs around an old bush and some rocks. He balled up as much as he could with his paws, and padded back towards the clearing.

Dawnpelt looked up at her leader, standing up a little straighter, her eyes clearing up ever so slightly. " The rogues all ran," she said. " Ashpelt held off many on his own. I think Tigerstripe went to where they fought, though I'm not sure about...", she hesitated before mentioning Ashpelt, worried about what his state may be. She purred softly to Bramblekit as she spoke.

Dawnpelt nodded, and padded in the direction of camp. She walked smoothly, whispering to Bramblekit as she moved. " Don't worry, you're safe now.." she said softly, as she brushed through the bracken. Dawnpelt's thoughts went to Ashpelt, a pang being felt in her heart. Ashpelt, what would I do without you..., she thought anxiously. The tall oak tree loomed ahead of her, its branches swaying in the night sky. She padded through the bramble tunnel, heading towards the nursery.

Duskwind sniffed at Ashpelt's sounds, doing his best to clean the worst ones. " Come on Ashpelt, Tigerstripe will fix you up, " he mewed. With a thankful look at Hawkpool, he helped Ashpelt to his feet, supporting one side.

Dawnpelt purred to Bramblekit for a moment before answering, " I heard more fighting up ahead in the twoleg place...Ashpelt was there, Duskwind and Hawkpool went that way too, " she said quietly, not wanting to startle Bramblekit any more. " They may need you, " she added, looking at Tigerstripe pleadingly.

Duskwind shook his fur, clearing his head from the fog of fighting. " I think im ok, just some lost tufts of hair..." he looked at Ashpelt, who was much worse for wear. " We need to get him to camp, " he mewed, looking back at Hawkpool.

Dawnpelt breathed heavily as she watched the rogue run, finally getting a chance to catch her breath since the gathering. Her ears flicked as Bramblekit cried behind her, and she rushed to his side. " It's alright, little one...", she said, softly. She licked her paw, wiping the blood off her muzzle the best she could, and gently scooped Bramblekit up in her teeth. She purred, trying to comfort her mewling kit.

Duskwind hissed as Sandfeather and her rogues turned tail. He turned to face Ashpelt, nudging him gently with his nose. " He's okay, I think Dawnpelt went to him, " he said. He looked for Hawkpool in the alleyway, wanting to make sure she was alright.

Blood speckled Dawnpelt's vision as the rogue slashed at her face. She felt no pain, however, and dashed around the rogue to knock his back legs out from under him. She leapt onto the rogue while he was on his back, pinning him with her claws.

Duskwind ran to Ashpelt's side, hissing angrily at Sandfeather, " Back off, " he growled, lashing his tail wildly.

Duskwind ran through the trees, leaves and branches whipping at his pelt. His ears flicked as he heard paws steps running behind him and he glanced over his shoulder to see Hawkpool following. He nodded in approval and looked back ahead, leaping over a root and further through the forest. He could smell the acrid stench of the twoleg place close up ahead. Duskwind's ears pricked at the sounds of cats fighting, and quickened his pace. His paws his the hard surface of the monster path, and he followed the sounds into the alleyway where Ashpelt was defending himself. " Reinforcements have arrived!, " Duskwind yowled as he leapt onto the nearest rogue.

Dawnwind dashed towards the twoleg place, saying a silent prayer to Starclan that she was not too late. She skidded to a halt as her ears picked up the sound of her kit in distress. " Bramblekit!, " She meowed, and ran towards the mewls. She spotted his small shape up ahead, and the rogue cats in pursuit behind him. She yowled, leaping over Bramblekit and directly into the leading rogue cat, tackling him into the dirt, claws ripping fur.

Dawnpelt's eyes widened in shock as she was pulled from her rage trance. She suddenly remembered she saw Ashpelt running from the camp in the direction of the twoleg place, but she was too focused on getting back to camp to put much thought to it. She dashed towards the entrance of the camp, running by Flamestar as he entered. " Sandfeather took my kit! I'm going after her, " she meowed as she rushed through the camp entrance and towards the twoleg place.

Duskwind swatted and hissed at the fleeing rogues as the fled from the camp. He heard his sister's cries as she darted into the trees, and did his best to follow as well.

Duskwind hissed as the rogue's tail disappeared into the bushes, and followed his leader in pursuit towards the Desertclan camp.

Dawnwind tore at the rogue's fur as he tore himself from her grip and fled. Her fur bristling, she ran around the nursery to help Mudfeather, lashing out at the back legs of the attacking rogue. " How dare you!, " she yowled as she fought.

Duskwind yowled angrily and bit the rogue's ear, quickly tearing the thin flesh. He dug into the rogue's hindquarters with his back claws. " I'm serious! " he hissed.

Dawnpelt rushed into the camp amidst the tangle of fighting cats. She pushed through the thick of the fighting, pouncing into the side of one of the cat's that has cornered Feathercloud near the nursery. Her vision was red as she bit down on the neck of the rogue cat.

Dawnpelt yowled in pain and ran through the gathering clearing, " Desertclan, return to camp!, " she meowed for anyone who was still standing in shock. She rushed into the forest, as fast as her paws could carry her, hoping she was not too late.

Duskwind held the rogue down, his claws piercing through the cat's fur. He wanted to follow as well, but felt it would be good to hold one of the rogues hostage. He hissed in the rogue cat's face, " If you try to move, I'll claw your ears off. "
