Soon, Jeremiah's legs were bandaged, as he rested on Aaron's bed. Jackie sat on a chair near Jeremiah sleeping over him. Jeremiah then opened his eyes slowly..he looked around and saw Jackie sitting near him. "J.. Jackie?...w...what happened?" He mumbled. Jackie's eyes widened. "Jeremiah, you're okay!! Thank god!! I thought you would wake up.." Jackie frowned. Jeremiah started to remember what happened. Jackie frowned. "Jeremiah, please don't remove the blanket-" But in a flash, Jeremiah removed the blanket and saw his legs. Gone. "Ah-" He said, as tears stung his eyes, he began to scream. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" He yelled in horror. "J-Jeremiah, it's okay!! Calm down!!" Jackie said. "Calm down?? CALM DOWN?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE CALM ABOUT THIS?!" He yelled at Jackie. "B-But at least you're still alive! It's better than being dead-" Jackie was cut off when Jeremiah pushed Jackie off of him with force, sending her back flying into the wall. "BETTER THAN BEING DEAD, HUH?! I CAN'T WALK, I CAN'T RUN... I'D RATHER BE DEAD THAN LIVE THE REST OF MY LIFE AS A GODDAMN RELIC!!" He said. Jackie flinched and frowned. "I...I'm very glad you're alive..." She said. Jeremiah turned to Jackie and frowned.
