Dazzle ignored Slash and started to eat the berries the Luxray had given her. They filled her mouth with flavor and she squealed with happiness. After eating most of them, she cut one in half and offered it to Slash. He was clearly irritated and it was hilarious to Dazzle. She rushed over to the Luxray and snuggled him, purring. She glanced at Slash who looked like he was about to explode. She quietly giggled and looked up at the golden cat.

"Thank you for getting me something to eat. I'm not used to finding food on my own. My old trainer used to give me his icky leftovers. They were horrible. He never let me out to explore on my own either. Whenever I tried to leave, he would kick me. I actually still have some of the cuts and bruises. If I was so worthless to him, why did he keep me in the first place? I swear, that guy has a weird way of thinking. Even the items he used were weird. He never used potions, only spoiled berries. They were icky too. But the worst thing is that he caught me with a dark ball. It can capture any pokemon and turn them evil. While I belonged to him, the effects didn't really work. But I think they are starting to kick in. I'm not sure if you saw me attack that quilava. It really is the scariest thing. My whole vision is covered by darkness and I feel nothing but anger. I can't control it," Dazzle explained. Images of the worst parts of her life popped up. She started to tear up but held it back. Wait a minute, she thought. Where's Rashime? She looked around curiously. His scent led of back toward the city. Dazzle frowned, worrying about him. She shook her head and looked back at Slash who was still glaring at her. She perked her ears down and started heading back towards camp but then a familiar feeling started to come back. No, not again! she thought as she started to lose balance. Soon, darkness covered her vision. She didn't want to hurt anybody. She screamed as she curled up. Maybe if she tried hard enough, it would go away. She glanced at Slash, who for some reason, was practically shaving his head with his claws. She let out a cry.

Dazzle looked at the Luxray with interest. He was a different color, just like Slash. Dazzle managed to jump out of Slash's arms and into the Luray's view. She ran around him and paused to sniff every now and then. She leaped on to his back and examined his fur. It smelled kinda funny so she hopped back down and stared at his huge paws. They were about the size of her face. Dazzle ran around him a few more times and got in front of him. She cleared her throat.

"Why are you a different color? And why does Slash's fur look like mine?" she politely asked. She wagged her tail as she waited for an answer. Her stomach growled again and she blushed.

This is a role-play based off the book Matched. My last role-play was okay but why not do something with pokemon?

You are in a region in which the government controls EVERYTHING. This includes the person you love/get married. In the annual Match Ups, every pokemon between ages 14 and 18 have a person picked for them to marry. They also receive a cottage as well. You may get somebody you like and you may not. This year, you are going to the Match Ups. Just read the following & sign up:

RULES:
No double posts unless completely needed
No spamming
No super-characters (dodge every attack, invincible, etc.)
No legendaries
Keep this to a PG-13 level
I will match you up, no complaining
You HAVE to have a boy character and a girl character
Please keep track of both characters
Your characters may be brother and sister
Your characters will never be matched together

	Peeking from Slash's arms, dazzle stared at the growlithe with interest. So many new pokemon! She squirmed a little to get a better view. She sometimes just hated being babied all the time. During her little squirming attempt, Dazzle's stomach gave out a loud growl. She blushed furiously. and quickly hid in Slash's arms again. [Read more]

(@MoltresMaster1, I love to throw some twists into stories ;))

"Excuse me but I don't have a trainer anymore. My poke ball was broken even though some of the effects might have stayed with me," Dazzle said quietly. She was still thinking about the darkness. It scared her how she could hurt anybody badly without her trying to. Then she remembered. Dazzle ran over to where the trainer was sitting. He seemed to be knocked out but the growlithe was extremely injured. Using all her strength, she dragged it over to Slash. She scurried over to the bushes and got a variety of berries.

"Will these help?" she asked but saw Rashime begin to leave. Dazzle had grown to like the quilava and couldn't stand the way he looked. She ran up to him and hugged him.

"I'm sorry I hurt you."

	Twinkle quickly ran and used Discharge. The ursarang wobbled a little bit and used focus blast. Twinkle barely dodged it but injured herself badly on the landing. While Dazzle was biting Rashime, a harsh jab hit her in the side. She landed perfectly on her feet and howled. The darkness was getting worse and being hit just made her anger go skyrocketing. She used Quick attack on Rashime. Jerks don't deserve to live, said a voice in her head. The electricity came bursting out of her cheeks, shocking many. She screamed as unusual pain and panic spread though. The image of her dead parents popped up in her mind once again and the electricity went absolutely nuts. The darkness soon fully clouded her vision and Dazzle could no longer see the good parts of her world. Her body quivered. The electricity slowly calmed down. Even the darkness seem to go away. Dazzle snapped back into her normal self, shaking with fear. What caused her to do this? She remembered. It was her old poke ball. It was a dark ball.

Dazzle had seen Rashime walk out the camp and she wondered where he was going. Curious, she couldn't just sit there. While Silvia was distracted with the big boy buizel, Dazzle scurried of and began to follow the quilava's scent. She went through the city and attracted a lot of trainers, having to run away constantly. The scent suddenly made a sharp turn into some bushes next to a red building She stopped and stared at the building for a long time. Her old trainer refused to take her here.

"It's for weaklings," he would always mutter. Dazzle shook her head and tried to forget about it. She followed Rashime's scent for a few meters and spotted him, watching a growlithe get attacked by many pokemon. She looked up at their trainer. Why do I feel like I know this guy.... she thought as she inched closer. Rashime started to growl. Dazzle kept watching. With a final thunderbolt, the growlithe was down. Rashime let out a Smoke Screen and growled even louder. I know! He's the guy who healed me when I battled his pikachu! He was really nice... her ears perked up.

"WAIT! DON'T ATTACK THEM!!!!!!" she screamed as she lost her balance and tripped over a thorn. She started to cry. Suddenly, her vision started to go dark. An image of her dead father began to fade. There is nobody in this world that loves me. No one in this cruel world, she thought. Dark rings began to form around her eyes. She let out a final scream and attacked Rashime.

(I'm totally getting this from Dark Celebi. You know, the one from the movie XD)

(sorry I didn't post earlier. I'm not home most of the time)

Something was popped into Dazzle's mouth. She didn't really like the flavor but the electricity wasn't as crazy. She chewed as she curiously looked around her. Many pokemon were talking and such. They all had serious faces. But serious isn't fun, she reminded herself. She attempted to make a serious face but ended up bursting with laughter. As soon as she laughed, the electricity completely went away. She was in a bad mood, that's all. Dazzle jumped around giggling and squealing joyfully. In the corner of her eye, she spotted her tail. She gave an evil look and started to chase it. Must....get...tail.... She was panting badly. All of a sudden, she was unusually tired. When she finally got her tail, she fluffed it up and went to sleep. She went away to a world only in her dreams.....

Dazzle stirred. As she made the movement to get up, the pain came rushing down and sent her back to laying down. The pain felt even worse than when her trainer kicked her. Whatever the sylveon was doing, it hurt. Dazzle started to cry loudly as the shock spread throughout her body. The sylveon put something on the cuts on her feet. It was too much. Dazzle screamed as tiny sparks came flashing out her cheeks. The electricity went everywhere. Being very young, Dazzle couldn't control the electricity in her pouches, a lot like the pokemon pichu. The more Dazzle felt the pain, the more wild the sparks were. It was something in her body driving her to this condition.

(just realized that Haze was a zoroark instead of a zoura. Sorry XD)

Dazzle was awake when this Haze was carrying her. She couldn't help but think of the guy who actually woke her up. The quilava was kind enough to help her. Then she thought of the liepard she saw earlier. The zoroark's fur was warm and she cuddled into to it often, purring. Haze finally entered this place in which Dazzle could not explain. There was just that something that was extremely comfortable. Haze gently put her down.

"I'M FINE!" Dazzle shot back as she ran off, crying. The zoura can keep his nose out of her business. As Dazzle wobbled down the street she felt a familiar pain come back and rush though her body. She let out a yelp and looked down at her feet. They were bruised badly and had small cuts. It was very embarrassing to just collapse after that little outbreak. Dazzle insisted on going farther, at least until she was out of sight. But the pain was too much for a pokemon that was only level 5. Dazzle curled up in her tail, crying.

Dazzle saw a liepard leap on her trainer and use fury swipes. She wobbled as she attempted to get up. Holding her head up high, she walked over.

"This trainer simply replaced you because of power. I would know," she muttered and used Quick attack on her previous trainer. So much rage filled her that she completely forgot that her pokeball broke. Dazzle would never be able to forgive this man. He told her to do something.

"you can't tell me what to do you imbecile. I'm free," she growled. In fact, she literally used Growl on him (not that it did anything). She walked away from the man. She forgot about her past. There was no reason to remember it.

Dazzle was extremely irritated that anybody could be laughing at a time like this. But a little nudge woke her up. She cried out as she attempted to get up.

"the pokeball...... the one next to my trainer's foot...." she whispered. If the pokemon in front of her could break the capsule, then she would be free. She barley opened her eyes to see a quilava in front of her. Hopefully, he would understand what she wanted: Break the pokeball.

Dazzle didn't have the strength to get up. She didn't even have enough strength to move her eyelids. She didn't know how long she had been blacked out. She lay there, listening to a zoura and the trainer get into some sort of fight. Ashamed of not being able to fight on her own, the pachirisu attempted to get up but miserably failed. She let out some sort of gasp and fell down again. She moaned as she listen to her trainer yell at the zoura. The poke ball, Dazzle thought. If that is destroyed, she'll be free. Gathering her all of her strength, Dazzle got up. It hurt more than anything.

"THE POKE BALL!!!!!" she screamed as she collapsed one more time.
