Takuya’s body ached with exhaustion. His eyes were still closed, which held back by the heaviness of his eyelids. The chatter had driven him awake. A jolt of fear wracked him as he realized this was not like the distant bustle of city life— he was somewhere foreign. He used his fingers to forcefully open his eyes, being quickly met with a variety of people.

Takuya was nothing short of overwhelmed, the conversation of the others mixing together. He decided to bypass the formalities, musing that if some cared enough that they would ask. Takuya stood up, stretching, eagerly taking in the landscape; He already had an itch to map it out. As he focused, however, the outer ranges of his vision rested on the barbed wire with unease.

	while we wait for mavis to make their forms... could i ask a few questions? like what’s the layout of the school gonna be like? will any of the game mechanics be shown very differently than it is in game? (eg free time/trials) and will executions be chosen specifically for each character by junko? (yknow, just curious.) [Read more]

Name: Takuya Furuki (Taku/Takuya)
Age: 17
Gender: Male (i know, the name sounds super feminine, but he’s a guy. no identity crisis here.)
Appearance: Takuya has a short (5’3) and slim figure; he has curly hazel hair that is parted by an orange kerchief. His eyes are a light brown. He has circle glasses as well, but tends not to wear them. He is usually seen with a long brown coat that has a pocket on both sides where he keeps pens and other writing utensils in. He wears a white long sleeved shirt under it. Takuya has bag slung over his chest (under his jacket) that contains papers and parchment.
Ultimate Talent: Ultimate Cartographer (Map-Maker)
Personality: Takuya doesn’t consider himself the brightest, despite others’ frequent objections. He often relies on others for advice, struggling to give some of his own. He’s very outgoing to those around him, and is certainly one to lean on. He struggles to realize that some people aren’t his friends. He tends to be gullible, but will happily laugh it off if he gets called out for it. He usually freezes up at any accusation, even if it’s about him stealing a single grain of rice.
History: He innocently ran away from his mother when he was very small child. Takuya wanted to see how far he’d go, and his prolonged exploration captivated him with map making. Takuya would write maps of the tiniest things. From subway layouts, valley paths and cave floors— Takuya spent days sitting down and appreciating the scenery which he transcribed and condensed onto a parchment. His mother never reunited with him after his absence, and it often lingers on Takuya’s mind.
One Memory of the outside world: The convoluted process Takuya would undertake of him stealing paper and parchment to fuel his map creation.

Other: His handwriting fluctuates between ‘how do you even read that’ to ‘above average’. Is an avid fan of spicy foods. Takuya is semi-decent at freelance drawing so that he can draw out land features, but it’s nothing impressive whatsoever.

look, everyone. think it’s best if we don’t bring up this any further (unless if we really, really need to) after/when we start the new game. i don’t want us at each other’s throats before this game starts and hold some kind of grudge. yes, cheating is a whole can of worms that justifies apt investigation... but don’t get out of hand pls we’re all just here to play a (fun) game of mafia. please don’t provoke each other anymore TTwTT

i am abstaining. suvichan has been my only lead so far; it’s been addressed by now. like meme, though, i’m glad i didn’t immediately vote for suvichan with a 50/50 chance of making the game much worse, or better.

and uh, as meme also said, they’re just making guesses. with all this guesses we may eventually mess up, but that’s apart of the fun. i don’t think meme is suspicious, at this moment.

ah, this is not the freshest start. doctor’s dead, reviver’s dead, and the guard is inactive. the cop is... doing their best.

so, of that, i can map this out. so far, 4/12 are dead. only 8 are left. 1 of 8 is the sorcerer. from the previous night’s activity, there is a godfather, a spy and a goon.

4/8 active threats. but, we know that a.) suvichan is (probably) not be the mafia due to them almost being killed, b.) there are the cop and the guard still in the game, and probably a vigilante (who hasn’t done much, if there is one.), and another townie (which curiously only results on two, either meaning that there isn’t a vigilante (uh) or there are very few townies.

from this, we can see that we need to be very careful, the mafia could swiftly outnumber us if we don’t think. i’m glad the facestabber role was quickly out of the game, so they wouldn’t cause mischief, but this raises a few alarms for godfather has to know nishinoya is great— and wants them out of their scheme. reminds me of a previous game... the godfather must be experienced, or at the very least know what they’re doing. it’s a shame that the spy managed to seek out the ONE person out of us that was the reviver, but what ya gonna do, i guess.

however, there’s one thing that strikes me as suspicious. you know how suvichan was unable to be killed last night due to the doctor? i bet you so much that the spy went and investigated them earlier, and that they’re either the sk or the sorcerer. yes, i know. that’s an extremely huge claim to make, but it makes perfect sense in my eyes. the mafia would certainly like to know who the doctor would protect, as well as their role. they didn’t go back and kill them again, which presents an odd branch of possible conclusions. 1.) suvichan is the serial killer, and the mafia wants to keep them alive to help them eliminate everyone, or 2.) they are the sorcerer and would like the shot of a risky, but easy non-suspecting kill.

i know we are in danger if we don’t act, that’s what happened before. i’m not letting it happen again on my behalf.

tl;dr:

i predict there are 4 active non town roles (mafia + 3rd party), the godfather is smart or a good guesser, and suvichan is someone the mafia wants alive for some reason, therefore they must be some kind of 3rd party, because i bet you the spy went and investigated the person who was protected by the doctor after the previous night

	abstaining! along with what everyone said, i’d like to add that you could also double check lurking people to see if their online if you are trying to wait for a good mixture of time progression and player activity. a few people, like me, just kind of neglected the game but was extremely active outside of it. well golly, i sure picked a fantastic time to remember about this thread, huh? so from what i can gather, the spy and godfather will prooobably kill me and my mystery comrade (although ryou states they are the facestabber, and as such now a townie, i do not fully think so, this may blow up in my face).

though, i have a few things to say...

you are a sweet human being, and i hope you’re feeling better, but i can’t tell if you’re just trying to use that to falsely support some evil deed. you were so kind during one of the previous rounds, complimenting the handmade posts, apologizing for your inactivity so nicely, but i knew that you were my fellow mafia in that previous games. so what gives? why do i feel so bad suspecting you now, in an entirely different game? AAAAGH.

I’d also interrogate Ryou, but they haven’t posted since the start of this round, and haven’t been extremely active in any of the games i’ve been in... for now, i’ll have to trust them, because they give me no reason not to.
