I know this isn't the place to talk about this but I need to get this off of my chest.

A few months ago I had two of my closest friends drop my husband and I because the one kept belittling not only myself but my husband. Mainly because I got a new job that pays well. Then my father in law got cancer. The 2 of us were on edge. The one friend snapped at my husband so he finally had enough and snapped back. They broke it off with us and we didn't talk for months. My husband made the first move a couple weeks to talk things out with them and now the 3 of them are good again. The thing was is that I was caught in the middle of this. I hadn't done anything this time and yet I was the one that had the aggression taken out on. We've since become friends again but I still haven't talked to them. I don't think I can. I just saw one of them with his brother and I was honestly disturbed by him. I had to go and do the "take a break" thing that Facebook offers. I don't think I can go back to the way it was with them.

I don't think my heart can continue to let itself get betrayed by people. Especially people I've known for over 10 years.
