"...Solaro, I'm so sorry for your loss." She turned to meet the eyes of Lucian. Her emerald green gaze was dull and her eyes miniature pools of sadness and... despair. She mumbled something, but the words were so garbled it was difficult to understand, if at all. "..s'all good." Solaro's tongue twisted itself into knots and clenched her teeth. "...She walks among the stars now." Solaro whispered, and her gaze flickered up and then down. She could take comfort in that. Now she was safe. [Read more] |

Solaro "Makasu"Solaro appeared from the doorway, but stopped short of entering the room. Her green eyes widened and she wailed. She opened her mouth again, but little sound came out. Confusion clouded her head. Akora... She... Is dead? Why? What did she ever... do? Solaro felt dizzy. I must be asleep again. She closed her eyes briefly. This is all a dream. No, whispered a tiny voice. She is gone. Solaro opened her eyes again, and took in the scene. Oh.. Bloodied and bruised, Akora lay there. Solaro's gaze briefly darted to her wrists. Bile rose in Solaro's throat and she struggled not to vomit or pass out or both. She felt sick to her stomach. [Read more] |

Akora's eyes snapped open quickly. Alarm flooded her, then relief washed over her. Solaro was sitting close beside her, asleep still. Akora yawned. Did we fall asleep? Embarrassment sparked through her. ... Solaro looked cozy. The warmth Akora felt for Solaro banished the chill in the air. Akora took this moment to assess Solaro. Her face, usually covered in some sort of makeup seemed pale in the dim light. Her hair glittered bright orange and was clean and fluffy, as always. A black streak cut through the orange, similar to Akora's streak of purple. Akora wanted to reach out and pat Solaro gently, as she once did, but she stirred and blinked open her emerald eyes. Solaro Solaro blinked herself away. She felt warm, despite the cool air. She focused, and her eyes met ones of Sapphire blue. She opened her mouth to screech, but the person infront of her slapped their hand over her mouth. [Read more] |

Honestly, it wasn't as spooky as it was when she was younger. Strangely, Akora could remember struggling in the thick, swampy black until she was free from the plague of dreams. The acidic, yet chillingly cold bite of the darkness made pain tear through her. -------------------------------Solaro :> Solaro leapt away. Blood, blood blood. The oozy thickness pooled at her feet. Solaro saw her reflection in the blood. Wincing, she closed her eyes. The overwhelming, metallic scent of blood wreathed around her. Footsteps? The echo of someone padding around her bounced around, rattling her brain. Opening her eyes into a thin slit, an oblivious, purring, silver cat stepped into Solaro's vision, 'miiaoow'ing. It coiled its tail sweetly. Solaro closed her eyes tiredly. "Please just let me sleep." It blinked slowly. It narrows its intelligent, green eyes and bounded away. "Fine." [Read more] |
