Title: Pokémon Diamond Nuzlocke ChallengePokémon Diamond NuzlockeHello! My name is Kineko and I'm a girl from Twinleaf Town! My best friend is a boy named Damien! Today we're starting our Pokémon adventure! Me and my best friend went to the lake, where we saw two people talking in the grass. After that they left, we go to investigate and get attacked by Starlings so we steal a Pokémon each to defend ourselves. The professor's assistant came back and was mad at us for defending ourselves, in which then we got stared at. So I went home, the Pokémon still in my hands. I proceeded to the Tall Grass and ran into a Bidoof and Starling, which Turtwig easily defeated. I then arrived in Sandgem Town, where Lucas brought me in to see Professor Rowan, who let me have the Turtwig which I named Twiggy. (This was the name of my Pokémon on my first time playing)  Lucas
proceeded to drag me around town after I left the lab. I then went
back to the lab hoping to start my Nuzlocke but unfortunately it
was not yet time. So I ran to the beach looking for Lucas, found an
antidote, and went to the PokeCenter to heal my Pokémon. After
that, it was getting late so I went ahead and hurried to Route 202
to go to the next town, hopefully to get my first PokeBalls and
start my Nuzlocke Journey!As I went to the tall grass, I ran into Lucas, who asked if I told my mother, which I didn't. So now I had to turn around and go home. And this was when I remembered I get those balls from Lucas. I hurried on home and told my mother, and when I finally thought I was free, Damion's mother came in with a parcel for him which I was now forced to bring to him. Now to go back through the tall grass... I ran all the way back to Sandgem town, getting Twiggy to level seven. I ran to Lucas as fast as possible, who showed me how to catch Pokémon even though I already knew how, got my five PokeBalls, and my Nuzlocke was officially started! As I work my way to Jubilife Town, I run into a trainer, and it was this very moment, I spelt Twiggy's name wrong: Twigy. Too late to look up a way to change his name now... I ran into another trainer with two Pokémon, and Twigy was still a little low from the last battle. Was this where my Nuzlocke was going to end? So soon into starting it? Luckily, the other trainer's Pokémon was weak so Twigy easily brought them down! I quickly ran into a Bidoof on Route 202 that Twigy stole HALF the health from in one move. Not gonna attack again... Fortunately I was able to catch her in one ball, and thus River  joined the
team! In my next battle I sent her out but she was immediately
brought down to half of her health remaining so I went ahead and
threw Twigy back in. At least River would get some EXP from
this.Once again another fight came up and I was starting to get worried as I had nothing to heal my Pokémon with. But luck seemed to be on my side as this trainer had only one Pokémon and didn't use any attack moves. Twigy learned absorb, which meant things were hopefully going to get easier from here! We quickly made it to Jubilife town where we ran into Lucas. Oh come on I just want to heal my Pokémon already!? He told me where Damion was, at the Pokémon school, so I decided to drop by there after healing my Pokémon. Then back to Twinleaf town to catch Pokémon! I decided to go to Lake Verity first to see what Pokémon I could discover there. I managed to catch a level two Starly, which I named Feather!  I then ran
into another Bidoof on Route 201, wasting my once chance to catch a
Pokémon there. At least Twigy got to level ten. On my way back to
Jubilife, I stopped at the Sandgem PokeCenter to heal my team.I should probably train them just a little bit more. So with my Pokémon newly healed, I put Feather at the front of my team! As I headed to Route 201, I made a stupid mistake with a Bidoof where I thought one more move would take him out, while Feather was at one HP. Lucky for me though, the Bidoof's attack missed and I took him out! Now just to heal Feather... Luckily my house wasn't too far and I could rest there a bit. I ended up staying there until tomorrow... Finally getting back to the game, I leave my house and off to Route 201 to train my Pokémon! I just got to hope something like that doesn't happen to Feather again... Of course, me being me I almost lost Feather again and had to replace his spot at the front of my party with River. So now I have developed a method: Feather goes out first, and damages the Pokémon as much as possible, then I switch him out with River and finish it off, go home, and heal my team. At some point, I went to the Sandgem PokeMart and bought a few potions to help me out. Twigy was already level ten, know just to get my other two Pokémon to that level... But as I was fighting a Bidoof and stupidly ignored the fact Feather was at two hit points... I lost him. My baby Feather... Gone. And to have lost a Pokémon I cared so deeply for... Heartbreaking. Anyways, here are the rules I'll be using with my Nuzlocke. I'll be posting my journey here on my diary forum thread! *If any Pokémon faints, I must release or permanently place them in a box. *I can only catch the first Pokémon I encounter in each area. If that Pokémon faints I have no further chances to catch a Pokémon in that area. *I must nickname all Pokémon to develop a bit of an emotional connection to them. *I cannot use any Pokémon I didn't catch myself. This means any Pokémon I get from trade, gifts, ect. I cannot use in battle. *A black/white out is considered a game over, which means I would have to completely restart the game. *I cannot flee from a battle. *I cannot use the daycare. *I may not use any online resources to get through a part of the game, which means I have to figure it all out myself. *The Nuzlocke won't start until I receive my first five PokeBalls from Professor Rowan. *I can only catch one Pokémon every time I go to the safari zone.
