Shao listens to what Excalibur has to say, ears flattening to her head a tad bit. Once the wolf walks away, she takes a few steps in a circle, staring at herself as if she were chasing her tail.

“Am I really that skinny looking?” She asks herself, shrugging slightly. “Naaah, I’m just lean and fit!” She grins, puffing out her chest fur with pride as her tail sways.

Yeah, she’s definitely not a full fitted Pokémon in terms of weight, but that clearly isn’t a concern of hers.

	After both a second and third serving, Shao finally found herself unable to take another bite. Stuffed, she discards her plate (either in the sink if it’s reusable, garbage if not; I’m not too sure on that front). Who knew such a little Pokémon could eat so much in one go! But hey, who can blame her? Not only was it good, but it’s rare free hot meals come by like that. [Read more]

Upon receiving the OK from Excalibur, Shao begins frantically filling a plate to the brim for herself, probably spilling a drop or two onto herself in the process; tail wagging all the while.

She hadn’t really been paying much attention to the ongoing conversation as she was stuffing her face with curry the whole time, fitting as much as she could into each bite. Her ears perk up at the sound of her name, letting out a ‘Hm’ as she look up from her plate; mouth full of food.

She gives herself a second to finish her bite before responding to Starlight. “Oh, uh, yeah!” She nods quickly, taking another bite. “Sure” she adds, with her mouth full of food once again.

Shao nods along quickly, practically drooling at this point. She can’t quite remember the last time she’s gotten a hot meal, let alone a free one. She glances over at torracat upon it being mentioned, then back at Excalibur.

“Oh, cool! Are you sure I can have some?”

She asks,
Tilting her head to the side. Now, she begins going back and forth between looking at the wolf in front of her and eyeing up the curry over on the table as if it were pure gold lying in front of her eyes.

Shao jumps in surprise, almost stumbling backwards away from the windowsill upon being noticed by the new bunch of Pokémon. With her tail now tucked between her legs out of embarrassment, she awkwardly smiles with a sheepish chuckle, which probably just sounded like an uncomfortable purr to any trainer or human. While staring up at Excalibur.

“O-oh! Am I infuriating something, I am sooooo so sorry, I’ll get going n-“

She pauses after hearing the large wolf Pokémon finish it’s sentence. She sniffs the air, her nose filling with the sweet, strong scent of fresh curry. Her ears instantly perk up as if on cue, letting go of the windowsill to jump up, squeezing herself through the partially opened window. Her polite, hospitable seeming tone quickly fades due to the offer of free food.

Tail now swaying, she looks up at Excalibur, with a grin, practically forgetting all eyes seem to be on her.

“Don’t mind if I do!”

Shao found herself wandering over towards the sound of chatting trainers and rousing Pokémon. Now, in front of the daycare, she does as she had before; carefully pacing around the perimeter of the building, gazing up at its walls and windows. With a trot, she heads over to the shortest window within view.

Tail continuing to sway and curiosity on her mind, she perches herself up on her hind legs, her forepaws pressed against the wall. With all her might, Shao does her best to reach up to the ledge of the window, claws outstretched and her ears pressed down to her head in frustration. Her short stature compared to her eeveelution counterparts can cause quite the challenge (being about 2ft tall while most eeveelutions run about 3ft average).

Once her eyes finally reach above the ledge of the window, she watches with eyes full of curiosity as the Pokémon and trainers interact.

Humans, and Pokémon?

She raises an eyebrow, with one ear raising and the other laying flat. A strange sight in her opinion, she rarely went out of her way to interact with humans. But to each their own, she assumes.

Shao, a free roaming Pokémon, wanders over in the direction of the school. Ears perked up and alert to all of the new sounds around her, she quietly paces around the school premises. She gazes up at the large building, tail swaying slowly with curiosity. For a Pokémon that prefers to keep to themself, Shao’s quite curious of what may lie inside.

The chime of the school bell and announcement system rang out, announcing the end of the school day. She watches as students begin to exit. Cautious, she stays quiet and watches; toying with the safety goggles strapped loosely around her neck.
