Phantom ate the spoiled food along with the container. "Oops, I hope you weren't hoping to save that container; it's kinda already being digested..." Phantom attempted to put on a sorry tone though she really didn't care if the human wanted the container or not. It tasted fine either way.

Melody was slightly disgusted by the fact that Phantom had just eaten a whole container of rotten food, though it didn't disgust her enough to spoil the taste of her tea. Melody took a sip. "Mmm, lemon, my favorite. Thanks Darren!" Melody said with a large grin on her face.

"You got any tea? If not then some ice water would be fine," Melody never liked to eat at Darren's. His food was always either rotton or too spicy for her taste. Plus she always felt like she was intruding when she asked others for things such as food or a place to sleep. Melody liked being independent.

"Human do you have anything rotten within your food container? If so I would gladly eat it. I haven't eaten in a few days you see and my diet mostly consist of decayed meat so I wouldn't mind cleaning out any bad food you might have," Phantom never hunted, she scavenged from dumpsters and ate any roadkill she could find. She refused to kill something just for a meal when humans threw out plenty of food that she could consume herself without getting her hands dirty.

	Phantom fell out of the shadows and jumped on top of Eudjinne, sinking her claws into his back. "How dare you call me 'low-ranked', I'll have you know I could rip you to shreds if I wanted. "Are you sure you don't want some ice or something?" Melody asked, concerned about Darren. Melody was always the type to worry too much she wanted to help in any way she could. And Melody was glad that Cherry was ok with the other beings being here since Melody was actually planning to take Rose and Phantom home with her. But only if they wanted to come though; they had minds of their own of course and Melody couldn't force them to do anything. Melody had just realize how lost in thought she'd gotten, then she'd snapped back to reality. She once again focused on what was happening and looked over to see that Phantom was apparently on the ceiling now.

It was true, Phantom had indeed gone into the shadows and was now upon the ceiling. Her excuse was that the doorway was too crowded for her to fit through so she just decided to slip by from within the darkness. She thought this was perfectly normal.

Melody stepped into the room with a warm grin. "Hey Cherry!" She knelt down and gave Cherry a hug. "I hope you don't mind but I managed to convince Darren to spare a few beings. But rest assured that they'll be leaving with me when I finally decide I've spent enough time here tonight," Melody stood up after hugging Cherry for a minute, walking toward Darren she asked him "Are you ok? You're not bleeding are you?"

Phantom peered into the room. This female seemed to know the being before her. Phantom assumed that the female and male must have known each other for a while since they seemed so friendly toward each other.

As both Melody and Phantom began climbing the stairs to Darren's apartment, Melody watched Rose as she walked in front of her. What was Melody going to do with her? She'd promised to take Rose with her when she left but what about after that? Would she take her home? Would she release her into the city? Rose had learned how to talk now so she was obviously growing. Melody continued to ponder this subject as she and Phantom reached the floor of Darren's apartment.

As Melody stepped out the car she looked up at the large building. Darren's apartment complex was so huge compared to hers. And even though she came here so often she still felt out of place in a building full of so many people. Melody had never been a people person; the only people she really felt comfortable around were her family and Darren.

Once Phantom had exited the vehicle she looked around at her surroundings. So this was the type of accommodations humans lived in. So, industrial looking. Dozens of families living so close together with merely walls between them. It all seemed a bit too... close for Phantom's liking. "So this is the place in which you reside human? Doesn't it seem a bit crowded to you?" Phantom asked.

Phantom believed this being to be stupid. "Humans are the creatures that have developed this planted into the toxic waste bucket that it is now. They tend to fear and or hate our kind. If I had let you continue to watch these two, you most likely would have been shot by the male one whom carries a gun around with him; so I just saved you life," Phantom was unsure as to how he could not know what a human was, they were all over this planet.

As Melody got into the front seat of the car, Phantom noticed something in the sky. "I can see you up there, you're not very good at hiding," Phantom shouted toward the genie looking being. "I'm aware that you've been for a while, I merely chose to look past it since this town is crawling with out kind. Now would you please come down and introduce yourself before the male human shoots you?" Phantom was unimpressed by this being who seemed to just sit back and watch while it could clearly tell that these were humans whom did not fear beings, well at least the female didn't; the male seemed to like shooting them.
