"I was just wondering, could you help with, well, this?" LeafWing said pointing trying to the scratches on her back ad shoulders, "Th-they were just starting to ache and I was wondering if you help me out," she asked quietly.

Thudding back, SpiderLeg was impressed with the performance, getting back up he said, "Alright, your turn now Darkpaw," his eyes glittering with pride.

Biting her lip, LynxFur stepped back, I'm sure AmberStars is already busy with this, why bother her? I'll just watch Darkpaw for a little, then take hunting or something!, she thought.

Whilst LeafWing walked into the medicine den her head was spinning, why, oh why did these cats have to be so judgemental, at this point going back to RiverClan is the safest place, she thought. LeafWing quickly introduced herself, "Er, hi, I'm LeafWing, A-amberStar let me stay while I look for, my um, kits," she said, "I was wondering,"

LynxFur hurried off to the leader dens to ask AmberStar a few question concerning the gathering,"

"Alright sunpaw, get into position and slash at me, then you'll be doing it Darkpaw," he waited as sunpaw got ready for the blow.

LeafWing sat in the nursery, being criticized by other queens, "Why would you leave your kits?", "Why are you irresponsible?", "Why does your parenting suck?", "Who was your mate?", with this going on she left for the medicine den with her wounds starting to ae again, that LynxFur had good grip.

Impressed SpiderLeg said, "Alright then!", "I guess we'll go over a few other things", "So, for the front paw slash you drag your paws down on your opponent's head, while claws are unsheathed or sheathed, we'll do this without the claws for now," he finished.

LynxFur trudged away finally her shoulder hurt, and she was done with patrols, for now, she left to the leader's den awaiting AmberStars choice for the gathering, spotting LeafWing on the way she said, "Oh, hi" awkwardly.

Waking grogily AmberStar shook her head, and with that she was awake, it was almost dusk, and she had to choose who went to the gathering. She herself also had to make an appearance for the sake of the clan, who would she choose?

SpiderLeg watched, despite being apprenticed early, and despite train,ing for the first time Darkpaw was quite talented.

LyxnFur trotted off ready to set new patrols, and without being drowned by the multiple corrections.

"Yes," LynxFur nodded solemnly, "I'll be extremely cautious and on my paws," she said. Trotting out she decided to watch SpiderLeg and the apprentices train before setting more patrols and such, she saw the cunning gleam in Darkpaws eyes and before leaving said "GoodLuck! Go get 'em!", in an attempt to be supportive.

SpiderLeg smiled, watching as Darkpaw got into position carefully, she seemed to be good at assessing these types of things.

AmberStar snores too loud.

	LynxFur sat patiently waiting for a response fiddling around with her paws. Her head was once again spinning with thoughts, what could this mean? Birdsong was one of her best friends, they would always comfort and stand up for each other, why hadn't she appeared sooner? Was this just to give the warning, what did the warning even mean? "Well, a friend of mine who passed away a while back, kinda came back in this dream saying 'beware the masked enemy' all spooky like," she replied, "she called me a dingbat too," LynxFur muttered under her breath.

SpiderLeg watched Darkpaws slight arrogant expression, this reminded him of LynxFur, despite being a prodigy she still made mistakes to learn from, "Okay sunpaw, remember I want you to watch me from afar and calculate our distance, once close enough I want you to lash and put distribute your weight into your front paws, also sunpaw quick note, be a little more careful because of you know," he said getting little grim.

AmberStar snored loudly.

LynxFur woke in a cold sweat running up to the medicine den, seeing MouthCloud asleep she carefully walked out, then she began to grab rocks and drop them, so she could 'accidentally' wake her up, "Oh, sorry MothCloud," LynxFur said, "I was just passing by, also do you by any chance think you could help me with a dream?" she asked hopefully.

Impressd by sunpaws initiative traits he walked up in front of them, "Alrighty, I'm going teach you the back kick," said SpiderLeg grinning, "For this you must put your mind to use judging the opponent's distance, lash out with your back legs, put all of your weight into your front paws," he said, "Sunpaw, can you help me demonstrate?"

AmberStar continued snoring.

"We were already reviewing things, so we can probably give her a demonstration and review on the basics for you," he said, "She'll start afterward," he added. "SandyHollow's a good place to train, wanna go there?" SpiderLeg asked.

With the proper motivation LynxFur managed to finish with the patrols, for now. She practically ran to SpiderLeg quickly yelling , "Hey, you're in charge! Wait no, put someone in charge!", again, without a response she left, sprinting to her bed she got there in practically under a second, she lay on her bed drifting of within seconds. She remained there twitching dreaming about someone, BirdSong, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, where the heck am I!?" yelled LynxFur, "Your dreaming dingbat," said a familiar voice, "Haha, whoever you are very funny!", "No seriously," said BirdSong materializing, LynxFur stood there, her jaws clenched, she almost choked on a sob, "BirdSong...?", she said softly. "Yes," she said, "W-why are you here?", "Because, I need to give you a warning, beware the masked enemy...", "The masked enemy?" echoed LynxFur.

AmberStar remained there laying still now snoring.

LynxFur began setting up the patrols, soon enough she was worn down by the constant corrections, despite her mistakes and rambling she was decent at this. After setting up dawn patrols she took a quick break before setting up hunting patrols.

"How convenient! I was just asking sunpaw to tell LynxFur if we could pass patrols to train," he nodded, LynxFur exhaustedly trudged to the three, "Take her training? Setting patrols was a pain," she said, without waiting for an response she nearly passed out and trudged off saying "Thanks!" weakly. "This isn't gonna be good," said SpiderLeg, "So self-defense right sun paw?"

AmberStar lay asleep in her den dreaming about all her regrets.

LynxFur nodded solemnly, "Mhm," she mumbled. "If you can get plans with SpiderLeg and sunpaw after I finish setting patrols I'll take you for training later," she said, "that sound good?" she asked.

SpiderLeg looked over at the two, knowing LynxFur this probably was not going to end well. "I'll ask LynxFur if we can pass on the patrols to train," he said.

AmberStar smiled at the light commotion, she left to her den seeing as things were starting to get under control.

SpiderLeg stared, this was a rare and dangerous occasion, they could either hurt the kit or make a strong warrior. "StarClan bless her," he muttered, "and LynxFur,"

AmberStar stared at the shocked faces, the reason for her actions could never truly be known. "Now, for the deputy ceremony!" she said, "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors SandStone," she hesitated almost chocking on a sob, she couldn't do this not now, "may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ThunderClan is LynxFur!", she finished.

LynxFur dropped her head, she had more responsibilities now, she had to train her apprentice, organize border patrols, hunting patrols, and other things. "So, your one of my responsibilities now," she blankly to Darkpaw.

AmberStar smiled at the kit's enthusiasm, "Darkkit come to my side," she started, "Darkit, you have reached the age of si-five and something moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Darkpaw. Your mentor will be LynxFur." she stared in LynxFur's direction "LynxFur I hope you can pass your agility, strength, and wisdom, and all you know onto Darkpaw." she finished.

LynxFur started at the ground, she was honestly disappointed, although she sort of understood the LeafWing thing she couldn't get this. She tried to perk up as she walked towards Darkki-paw, she got down, ~~not by that much~~, and touched her nose against darkpaws.

As sunpaw followed SpiderLeg shook his head, did he hear that right? Asking someone else and looking at LynxFur and Darkpaw he was slightly shocked, how could AmberStar have done this!?

As the four headed back to the camp Amber star went ahead and leapt onto the highrock. There was a lot of commotion, so far cats weren't too eager about AmberStar's reign. "Dear clanmates!" started, "I have found an abandoned RiverClan member, I have decided to treat her with the hospitality I expect the same of you, and as you know I have been appointed leader by our ancestors, It was a tough decision, but in the end, I came to the conclusion that the newly appointed deputy shall be Sp-LynxFur!" she announced hesitantly, the words tasted bitter in her mouth but she said them anyways.

LynxFur was ultimately caught by surprise, "But I haven't even apprenticed anyone!", "So?" she said, "You can apprentice that kit," she said pointing her nose at Darkkit. "But she's not old enough!" LynxFur protested. "I believe she is a strong individual worthy of being apprenticed early." she responded.

SpiderLeg caught the light of the meeting while passing by Sunpaw, "C'mon!" he whispered.

Once back at camp SpiderLeg dropped the mouse and rabbit onto the fresh-kill pile, "Alright, sunpaw can you go check on the elders? Just make sure their moss beds have been changed and they've eaten." he said.

LynxFur trudged on until she caught LeafWing's scent, "There you are," she said, "Have you caught any scent of your kits?" she asked, "No," replied LeafWing softly, "Hm, well AmberStar wants you to come back to camp with us, wanna go?" she asked. "Sure," said LeafWing. As the three walked back to the moonstone to AmberStar her thoughts revolved around LeafWing, why had the rouges gotten her to do this, where they most likely to double cross her?

As the three approached the sun was up and singing, only a few moments ago was sunrise, they were fast, and AmberStar liked that.

LynxFur rolled her eyes at this, Whatever at this point, she thought, almost everyone was already sick of her, before she was the leader. LynxFur headed off with Darkkit following.

AmberClaw sat patiently waiting for the two to come back with her daughter.

SpiderLeg headed back with the rabbit in his jaws, he dug up the mouse and grabbed it too. The scent of fresh kill lingered in the air, filling his scent glands and lungs.

LynxFur smiled slightly but as AmberStar emerged it turned to a frown,

AmberStar walked saying, "You guys go get LeafWing, we'll bring her back to camp, then I'll announce the new deputy," she said, "Why do we ha-", "Don't ask questions," AmberStar cut her off glaring.

SpiderLeg watched Sunpaws eyes brighten, he luckily saw a plump rabbit, the rabbit would have smelled him before seeing him, so he crouched the win blowing in his direction, lightly blowing away his scent. As soon as he was close enough he pounced, killing with a swift bite. SpiderLeg dropped it and thanked StarClan. "I think that'll be enough, we both carry two on our way back?" he asked.

LynxFur looked over at Darkkit, "Sorry to drag you into this," she said, "I just needed to get that out," she added, "Ya, know?"

AmberClaw had one life left to receive, she was choking on sobs, everyone there had don't so much for her, only to die. The next cat shocked her the most, her mate, fang, an ex-rouge who joined ShadowClan, with this, she completely broke down. Tears streaming down her face he gently said, "With this life, I give you hope. Use it well to look for the future.", he nuzzled her as she cried and then left, last was the previous leader, MinnowStar, with his rumbling voice he said "I hail you by your new name, Amberstar. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ThunderClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity.", as she awoke the sun was rising, but she remained in the cave, to finish with her tears. Once calm she stepped out, head high, chest puffed, and a grim expression on her face.

"Your right," said SpiderLeg, "We'll hunt a little more a do this later" he added.

SpiderLeg smiled, "Wise choice," he said when being a warrior you must protect and provide for your clan.

LynxFur grimaced, "Her name was BirdSong, SpiderLeg and me would always enjoy hanging out with her as apprentices..", she gave Darkit a solemn expression, life wouldn't always be nice, or fair in that matter.

AmberClaw listened and nodded, then a former friend appeared, SandStone, she said "With this life, I give you Justice. Use it well to judge your clan wisely.", AmberClaw choked on a sob as the next cat appeared, her mentor, Kestralfur, " With this life, I give you devotion. Use it well to care for the young, old, and unknowing.
