He whispered. Idris stared at her for a minute, wondering how the hell he'd tackle this challenge. He looked at Darcy. "Should I just...carry her?" He rolled his sleeves up. Incantations: Using Ietruguin- the main
language spoken in the coastal areas of Asteriinyx.
-[name] fra umbra skygg y'ai voco to -- summoning incantation which loosely translates to 'name from shadow realm/world/city, i summon you. 'Fra' originates to ancient Ietruguin and Elvish. 'Fra' means 'from', as in, 'I am from [blank]' --' y'ai em fra [blank]' 'umbra' originates from the Latin word...'umbra', which means shadow. 'skygg' originates from the Norweigan word 'skyggeriket' - which means 'shadow realm'. In this 'skygg' means realm. 'y'ai' is an old Ietruguin word for 'I/me'. 'voco' originates from Latin, which means 'summon'. 'To' is a more modern Ietruguin word for 'you'. The old Ietruguin word would be 'tores'. Pronunciation: 'frah umbra skk-eeg y-aee voko toe' This type of incantation is only used in dire circumstances and requires substantial knowledge of necromancy and the dark arts. To perform this, the [preferably living] living object you want to summon must be in the deepest and darkest pits of what Asteriinyx call 'Na'r'. Or Hell, as you humans call it. If they aren't, find another incantation. You're wasting your time here. To perform, you must first actually know the name of what you are summoning. If not, go find a 'Asteriinyx Witchcraft for Dummies' guidebook. This isn't for you. Gather at least one four-leaved-clover. They grow around the meadows of Grah. Yes, you heard me, four-leaved-clovers. I did warn you this wasn't going to be easy. Next, sacrifice your entire family. That part was a joke, you don't actually need to. Not yet anyways, that's for another spell. Next, collect fresh dirt from a grave. Place said clover in the grave and chant the incantation four times, eyes closed and hands hovering over the clover. Do not open your eyes. Next, open them and grab a dodecahedron. I should've mentioned earlier you did need one but, oh well. Grab the dodecahedron, and chuck it as far as you can. It's useless, you don't actually need it. Next- on second thought, grab the dodecahedron, sorry if you lobbed it far away, and place it on the clover. Scream the incantation one more time then break into tap dance. The last part was a joke. I mean, you can do it if you really wanted to- Wait a few minutes, then actually throw the dodecahedron away. Repeat incantation one more time, and the object you are summoning will appear where you threw the dodecahedron. Better hope you didn't throw it too far! -name y'ai vise to [/b]-- banishing spell which loosely translates to '[name] i banish you. 'vise' is derived from the Norweigan word for banish, 'forvise'. Pronunciation: 'ya-ee vee-sae toe'. To perform this, find an image of the thing you want to banish. Next, bury the image someplace, preferably in dirt. wip -slyp gå aufgere -- spell to prevent sleep for a temporary amount of time. Loosely translates to 'sleep go away'. 'slyp' originates from ancient Ietruguin, which translates to 'sleep/slumber/to sleep/'. [Read more] |
