Olika slowly turned her head and flicked an ear at the strange site. Odd.. she thought to herself, biting her lip a bit before stalking forward, eyes warily fixed on the girl and body kept close to the ground. Knowing that the girl was sobbing and shouldn't be frightened off with any loud noises, Olika gently tapped the ground with her shield. Quiet, but hopefully enough noise to get the crying girl to notice her at the very least.

Vokva was well aware that the other trainers were ahead of her, in terms of battling and catching pokemon. She was of course, in her own mind, more strategical. Looking up at the Pidgey above her, she knew that later she could teach it 'Fly' and transport herself to different locations once evolved. As possibilities went through her head, she silently signaled with two fingers for her totodile to creep forward and suddenly, hit the wild bird pokemon with a quick water-gun attack.

In pure surprise, the pidgey darted off but whipped back and at once began to fight the water-based starter. With an array of water-based and normal-based type attacks, the pair ferociously nipped and slashed at one another, before getting close enough, Vokva sent out a pokeball at the wild pokemon and watched it drop to the ground before rolling side to side in order to confirm the capture.
"Yes!" she hissed to herself under her breath in an excited tone, as she grabbed the pokeball up, but released the Pidgey so it too, could walk around freely with her totodile.

Olika's eyes darted around Xerneas' Temple, a mix of fear and anger burning inside of her, she couldn't exactly mask her distaste of what had happened but she kept quiet. With a side glance at this other stranger, Vector, she made no hesitation to snatch up her newly-given shield and began to proceed back to town silently in order to prepare for what lay ahead.

Vokva caught sight of the beedrill, a bug gem in it's pincers. With a suspicious glower, she waited for the beedrill to come closer, even with her totodile's growls under his fangs.
"..Thanks.." she managed to answer when the beedrill dropped a bug gem even though she was happy with his new gift, she couldn't get rid of her suspicious nature. With a dip of her head respectfully, she picked up the bug gem but kept an eye on the Beedrill.

Vokva let out a small shudder as a spinarak crawled down a large, thick tree base. 'Why did it have to be bug-types?' she thought to herself in a grumble, her totodile not looking overly-fond of the scene either. With a grunt, she heaved the quite-heavy starter pokemon onto her shoulders and began to trek through the forest, her head up looking at the sky, but eyes wildly darting around as ever in paranoid-fear.
