Ethan tried concentrating, trying to channel the emotions from earlier. He stared ahead, trying to picture himself moving. But he just couldn't do it, nothing was happening.

Ethan stood beside the group of people he just met, trying to take in everything he was hearing. All of the current information that they had all found out.
Locklear turned to the partially visible girl, who's name he discovered to be Violet, and asked her what she could so while be in her current state.
The next thing he knew, everyone was planning to leave and go to this place.
Ethan felt that maybe he should say something, introduce himself to these new people. He was unsure how and just went with a simple "Uh, hey. I'm Ethan Smoak."

Teleportation, huh? Ethan thought to himself. Though, he seemed to have no control over it. Locklear wanted to introduce him to the others. He slowly followed Locklear out of the alley.
The first thing he noticed was the guy. He had angel-like wings, just standing there, all high and mighty. He was next to the dark haired girl Ethan had saw earlier. Next the girl, ever so faint, was the outline of another female, almost invisible. Ethan realised it was the girl with the glasses.
Ethan was still adjusting to seeing people with these strange abilities, he was in awe with what he was looking upon.
Locklear then strolled up to them and asked if they had found out any information.

Ethan thought to himself that there had to be a reason for begin brought here. He thought that maybe this Locklear guy was just as confused as he was and that that maybe discovering his own ability could give some insight in to why he was here.
"When you sister supposedly brought down the building, while I was falling I thought I was about to die. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew I was in the alley way across the street. You think that it was maybe my ability that saved me?" Ethan stated.

The boy who appeared behind the dumpster caused Ethan to jump a little. He claimed that his name was Locklear. Ethan suddenly realised it was the guy he had seen earlier who dissolved. What was he?
Locklear stated that he wanted to speak with Ethan. Ethan was unsure whether to trust him or not. He had no choice, he had to talk to Locklear, he had to know where he was and what was going on.

After Ethan had seen the woman enter the building, he could hear shouting. Suddenly he heard a girl scream. The next thing he knew, the side of the building he was on, collapsed.
He got scared, he thought that he was about to die. Ethan placed his hands over his head and closed his eyes. He braced himself for the impact. Suddenly, he was on the ground. But he hasn't fallen to the ground, he was just there.
Ethan opened his eyes, he was on his side. Looking around he saw that he was in a small alley. As he peered out the alley, he saw the building that exploded. It was on the other side of the street! How did he get here, he thought.
The girl he saw earlier was talking to a guy and another girl with glasses. The guy suddenly dissolved. Ethan was shocked, he has never seen than before. He watched as the two remaining girls began to jog, he slowly followed them and watched them walk into a soup kitchen.
He tried to get closer to the building to see if he could get a better look at what the were doing. Ethan managed to make it quite close to the door, when suddenly, the girls burst out of the building. He didn't want them to see him, so he quickly dived into the alley beside the building.

Ethan slowly opened his eyes. He was looking directly up into the sky. The sun was beating down on him. He was dazed, his head was aching. Ethan's back was against a concrete floor. He tilted his head to side, suddenly realising that he was on a roof of a building.
Ethan had no clue how he has gotten up there, his memory was fuzzy. He forced himself to stand, his legs wobbled, but he finally gained balance.
Suddenly, Ethan heard commotion from an alley down below. He peered over the edge of roof, careful as to not be seen. He saw a black haired female, probably around his age. She had weapons, they looked lethal. She dashed into the building he was on, out of his view.
