Being the plushie artist for the site, I disapprove of this entirely.

I'm a 25 year old doing post-grad in one of the most strict 3D schools in the US (Animation course), and I barely have time to eat or sleep. I doodle plushies during classes when I can, because when I'm not in school I'm doing homework or projects for school.

Now, each project that I have to work on for school takes around 8-10h each. Each class of mine lasts 3h, being that I have 6 classes per week + two labs (also 3h long). If my days started at 9am and ended at 10pm, I would have exactly 3h per week to sleep.
Now, each doodle takes me around 5-10min; but finishing them on the computer might take from 30min to 1h30.

When I draw plushies I go with whatever is easier for me at the time - like previously said, I do it during classes - so if the class is easy and I'm sure I can catch up later on without any issues, I can put a little bit more effort into the drawings (a.k.a I can do more complicated plushies). Then, when I go back home, I separate the sketches I made that day in class, scan them and sort them into Easy, Medium or Detailed.

What I usually do is, whenever I have some free time out of school (which is like, barely ever) I work on as many plushies as I can on the computer so I can finish them. Then, I dump all those files into my deviantArt sta.sh so Riako can have a stock for the next couple of DW shop updates.
I usually do it early in the school quarter, so I won't have to worry about keeping the stock full while I'm having finals.

And the cycle goes on and on and on.

Having a poll with plushies to be made, ESPECIALLY a "week" before, as you stated in the first post, wouldn't do me, or the users who want said plushie, any good, because I wouldn't have time to make them anyway. Besides, having someone nagging you about a certain Pokemon to be drawn is as annoying as a user asking for your shiny for free (and I see those kind of messages every time the DW shop is updated).

If, by your suggestion, you mean making a poll with the already finished plushies that haven't been implemented, then by all means, I don't really mind. I actually made a chart with the names of all of the sketches that have been done, and the plushie drawings that have been digitalized and finished (yet not implemented). You can check it here. Otherwise, I do not support this at all.
