✩Diary 7:

Woke up and Rebecca looked hungry! So I put some food in a bowl and I watched her move to it. Then I left her alone so she could eat in privacy. And then after she finished (which was like two minutes, maybe four?) I sat outside and ate a sandwich. I gave her the lettuce part because I don't like the lettuce part. Plus, it was brownish and bitter. Rebecca seemed to like it! I'm gonna go to the library again and maybe I'll bring Rebecca along. And then after I'm going to try to give her zucchinis again.

✩Diary 7.1:

The library was fun. I was carrying Rebecca the whole time when we were inside and I asked the librarian if I could let Rebecca onto the library grounds. She was very skeptical and then said that I could find a book and sit outside in the garden. Jokes on her, I like the garden!! It has very nice stepping stones. So I took the book and started reading, this time about those water conditions and species preferences and stuff. Rebecca crawled around the hedges and almost tried a dip in the fountain. A nearby person caught her and was like 'Yo! Your snail!!' and I was like 'Oh crickets, I can't take my eyes off her!' But a cool thing was that Rebecca hid in her shell immediately when the person snatched her up and only popped up when she was near me!! Maybe she trusts me now!

✩Diary 7.2:

Rebecca crawled up onto my head as we returned home. Mom instantly told me to take a bath. Again. To be fair, I was a bit covered in snail slime. But I didn't smell!! Anyways, I read that snails are pretty tough little things and they aren't too picky about their environment (have I mentioned this already? I feel like I have. Deja vu? Meh) so the pond, and the pen, is a suitable place for her to stay!! Filled her bowl with food again for dinner, less than this morning though. It's gone now.

	Yue opened the bottle and started with Iteral's back. He rubbed the balm on the wounds gently, careful to not startle her. From where the balm touched, a cold feeling seeped into Iteral's skin, numbing the pain a bit. [Read more]

He grumbled at the guards, looking to Andrea and then to Azazel for any ideas. Maybe they could sneak by, but there'd be big chance that people would spot them. Attack? Effective but would definitely draw attention.

"Iteral, let me see your wounds. I don't have much to help but I do have a balm to at least numb the pain." Yue repositioned himself so he would be facing Iteral, taking a container the size of his finger out of his pants pocket.
