Soel tapped his foot impatiently. Where was that damn thief at? Today was an important day, a day to show the world their purpose, and she was late. Out of all days, it just had to be today.

Soel checked his pocket watch impatiently as he can already see the empires shining stars showing up in the distance. They were both familiar faces that he had faced off before, Atticus and... Shirin. The latter was quite an annoying individual to handle unfortunately.

[Name]
'The Dark Sun'
Soel

[Protagonist/Antihero]
Anti-Hero >:)

[Gender/Pronouns]
Male - He/Him

[Age]
19

[Five seconds of personality]
| Moody | Stubborn | Doesn't believe in god | Rash | Intelligent | Cat-like personality |

[Five seconds of magic]
De/Magnify any effect by 100x + Photosynthesis + Cellular Respiration But on human

Quite showy, as he uses those high-class canes with a crystal head or smth.

[Five seconds of backstory]
Soel and his mother grew up in a church after his father kicked them out, inwhich that naturally subjected him into discrimination, bullying and isolation and more. Naturally, as they were born in a church, they were taught to believe and pray to god when they were in need, and when they have prayed vigorously, one day, when you are in trouble, god shall graciously descend, and make all your troubles go away.

As Soel was young and naive at that time, he like any other children, believed the legends all the same, and prayed piously, Soel prayed especially hard. He'd pray right when he woke up, before each meal, and right before he feel asleep. Every time he prayed, he prayed that the people who surrounded him, would no longer isolate him, they would treat him with kindness, his mother would no longer need to suffer, ect-

But all those endless praying and hoping came crashing down when his mother suddenly died. People said that she killed herself.

But Soel knew better. He knew how much harshness his mother went through just for their livelihood. He knew how much shame, and humiliation she had to suffer, just to get a piece of bread in their tight little cramp room. But the people from the church said that his mother killed herself?! It was right then, that from that moment on, Soel stopped piously praying, no, he stopped believing in god all together. If god did exist, then why didn't he save his mother?

If god did exist, then how could he not see how much his mother had to suffer just to get a scrap of food on their table? Perhaps it was from a moment of rashness, Soel set the church on fire. Burning it with the people still inside. Soel made sure that the church burned to ground, without a single scrap left, especially not a single bone. From that moment on, it was unsure what Soel went through, but recently, he has been sighted again, committing arson, and violent act among the high class people.

Soo-ah watched the two who were in the middle of spilling their heart out to each other. For once, Soo-ah didn't have a smile on her face, but it wasn't quite a frown either. She's... Just there, watching everything.

Soo-ah doesn't say anything to interrupt the two, nor does she do anything to stop it. Of course in her mind, there were a few points she would like to point out in both of their statements, but it'll do more harm than good if she did so. Plus, this is an excellent time, for the two to get to know each other more extensively, to build atleast a slight layer of trust. The small layer of trust that even she couldn't beg her older sister for, for years.

Seeing Kinoko run out of the infirmary, Soo-ah just sighed. After all, trust takes time, time and effort. It's not something you can build overnight.

Decided to chase after Kinoko, Soo-ah gave a small wave and an awkward smile to the nurse, before going after Kinoko down the hallway. Ignoring Andrael and Saeha.

Soo-ah widens her eyes and her arm tensed for a split second out of surprise from Kinoko's out of nowhere intimacy, before she cooled her expression, and let her arm relax, willingly allowing herself to be exposed to such intimacy.

Soo-ah said nothing about the sudden behavior from Kinoko, instead, she chuckled, before letting her free arm rest gently on her forehead and tilted her head back dramatically, gasping loudly.

"Oh No! And the dorm rooms are managed by ranks?! It's just my horrible luck! Why did I try so hard for such a high score..! Now unless someone score an 8 or higher, I'm going to be paired with Andry?!" For the sake of the play, Soo-ah linked their arms tighter, and clinged onto Kinoko, weeping, dramatically. To the point of Soo-ah squeezing out fake tears from her tear ducts, making the play even more ridiculous.

"It's not that I don't like Andry, it's the other way around sniff sniff! No wonder she was so annoyed earlier when I mentioned about the dorms.." Soo-ah hunched her back, drooping like she was a wilting plant, and sniffed.

Soo-ah pouted at Andrael, before shrugging.

"Go easy on me Andry~ Not everyone has the time to go through each and every cranny of the student handbook! Especially that thick! I swear it was thinner last year..." Soo-ah muttered at the end, grumpily, it was almost adorable, if it were a rarer sight.

She knew well and clear that Andael was definitely using her words as a way to express her annoyance of her attitude, but what could Andry even do? If a little sarcasm was all it takes for Soo-ah to back off, she wouldn't be here right now. She wouldn't even have lost her memory in the car crash. Soo-ah was sure of it.

Soo-ah paused, before she turned her body to face Kinoko dead in the eye, suddenly serious. She places both of her arms on the other's shoulder somberly.

Suddenly, deathly silence fell upon the two, before Soo-ah took a deep breath and announced.

"There are dorms."

Soo-ah stated, as if she was trying to take all the information in.

"There are dorms?!"

Soo-ah widens her eyes, almost comically, now that the information had set in. But she seriously was surprised!! On the school page, there was nothing said about the school having dorms!

But now.. if the school truly had dorms.. what should she do now?! What words could Soo-ah tell her precious, stubborn older sister?! Whose food is she going to eat?

Many worries flooded her mind, as she went internally crazy. She didn't notice that her hand was still on the other's shoulders.

Soo-ah curiously peaked at Kinoko's expression from the corner of her eye, before poking her shoulder gently a few times to get the other's attention.

"Hey Ko, you good?"

Soo-ah whispered, at a medium level, as she walked leisurely with her hands behind her head, her face not looking a single bit concerned, despite asking the question.

Soo-ah's expression immediately brightens up, almost childishly, and nods. "Understood! Thank you professor Brown!"

Without saying anything else, Soo-ah rushed towards the moving group with newfound eagerness, before slowing down once she was just a few steps away.

"Hope y'all don't mind me joining you guys ehe!"

Who knows when, Soo-ah popped from behind Andrael's shoulder, and gave a little shy wave to the pink haired professor.

"Hey Miss Prof, can I go with Andry?"

Soo-ah fiddled with her fingers, glancing at the professor slightly shy, the usual obnoxious side of her hidden away.

Soo-ah watched Sae-ha's whole entire performance with interest. Clearly the girl was hiding something, just like everyone else. But what caught her eye, was the brutalness. The whole performance was thrilling, thrilling to the point that Soo-ah almosted wanted to make a scene.

But Soo-ah held herself back. It wasn't just one professor at the scene, there was two. It would be idiotic even for the airhead Soo-ah to make a dramatic play here.

But what was also interesting, was that the professor's care for Saeha, wasn't so simple it seems.

Soo-ah immediatly crossed her arms against eachother to form a big X, signally her refusal. If that wasn't enough, she also pleaded.

"Oh Prof! Please have mercy on lil 'ol me for once! You have no idea how much the slime stinks!" Soo-ah consistently played her act, which is.. dramatic as usual.

"Plus.. Prof.. there is no reason to go so hard on me when I'm not even your favorite!"

Soo-ah acknowledged the professor's advice with a thumbs up and then shrugged, "Do I have too? I doubt you'll increase my score prof." Soo-ah pouted, as she lightly clapped her hands, and in her palm was a maroon handkerchief. She simply wiped off the goo of the slightly curved blade of her cutlass, before snapping her hands again, and the handkerchief was gone.

"..Or, did prof started to develop a soft spot for lil 'ol me finally?" Soo-ah teased, with a mischievous smile. Any sign of her previous merciless self was nowhere to be seen. Only an alway teasing, prankster was seen upon Soo-ah's face.

Soo-ah scoffed, now she was getting just a little pissed off. What she said about patience? To h*ll with patience! With a simple swipe of her cutlass, she tore the slime's hand off her ankle, and threw it towards the glass wall offhandedly, turning it into mush with just the sheer force.

The frozen headless limbless body? Soo-ah stared at it with a blank face, and just simply snapped a few times with a clean clear crisp sound, and simply multiple of his parts of the slimes body appeared in different locations all slammed into goo onto the ground. Each part cut cleanly, as if it was cut by Soo-ah's cutlass. This was the destructive power of [Gone with a Snap], Soo-ah Edeya. This was also, one of the first time she used it on a living being.

Finally, there was the head, who now returned to a simple slime with a happy smily face. Soo-ah this time didn't bother playing any flashy little tricks, she just cracked her knuckles and grabbed the slime simply by it's head, and slammed it across the training ground with incredible speed. Before chasing immediately after it with a break. Cutting it, beating it, throwing it, until Soo-ah turned it into simple mush, that you can even see the smiley face from before anymore.

During the whole entire gruesome scene that actually didn't last more than 5 minutes, Soo-ah didn't say anything, it was just punch, cut, kick. Now that it was mush, Soo-ah stood up, and brushed her hands, and adjusted her eyepatch, before smiling brightly at the Professor, as if she didn't just kill the slime gruesomely.

"Good now prof? Am I done?"

???

Soo-ah widen her eyes in surprise. What she expected was the usual trope of body splitting, she in no way expected a slime hulk.

Soo-ah bit back a groan, as she flew back from the impact, but instead of landing on the ground, she use the glass as a leverage to spring back into the air flying towards the... slime hulk who mysteriously quadrupled in size. First of all, she had to get rid of it's limbs. Despite the seemingly rock hard muscles it had, the texture was still the same as a slime, bouncy.

Perhaps she could use that?

Soo-ah tsks, as she sprang towards the slime hulk putting it's entire image into her head, as she dodges another incoming fist. Turning her body slightly as she chops that arm off. The worst thing is that her ability isn't combat useful at all. That is, she never tried on a living being before, but perhaps that could change today!

Soo-ah roughly pasted a smirk on her face, she didn't move back, instead she kept pushing forward. If the slime gave her a punch, she'll deflect it, and return it with a slash on the chest. If it gave her a kick, she'll chop of it's leg. If it rushed towards her?

Soo-ah, leaped forward and towards the slime, with a simple swung of her arm, she sliced the head off with that awfully creepy smiley face. Without the head, the slime wobbled and leaned back, offbalenced. And just for good measure, she stabbed where she thought the heart was immediately after. But Soo-ah felt something was awfully off, as she kept her eye on the slime observing it's trembling movements. What shall she do now? Should she use this opportunity to use her Edeya on a living being while she has this time? Soo-ah mulled, and decided to be patient. After all, the most patient ones, are the ones that gained the most.

Soo-ah pouted, as she handled her cutlass with ease. In Front of her, a few meters away was a rainbow cartoonish slime that look so awfully cute that it was suspicious. From straight up guts feeling, Soo-ah knew this battle was either going to be 1) annoying or 2) troublesome, with the slime having some awfully annoying gimmick up it's sleeves.

From Soo-ah's street smart experience, just like the more colorful the mushroom the more dangerous they are, the same worked for creatures, like slimes too. Perhaps, the gimmick could be that when you cut, it split into two? Perhaps that was why there was only a single slime perhaps.

Soo-ah sighs, her cutlass was made to cut things into pieces, unless, like the troll there was a core weakness, things are going to get troublesome. Plus, it wasn't as if her main edeya is going to help much here.

"You never know until you found out..." Soo-ah muttered, and decided to just wing it and find out. If the slime split into two she'll just compromise and find a way to kill it to mush.

Without further ado, Soo-ah rushed forward without hesitation and cut the slime 3/4 of the way vertically controlling her strength precisely, cutting the smiley face almost in half, not completely separate but almost. First she was going to check it's regenerative abilities. Would cutting it this much affect the slime into separating, or would it stick back together she wondered with a almost crazed smile. It almost like this wasn't a training ground, but rather a mad scientist conducting experiments on a rare species.

Yes, this was Soo-ah fighting style, she was the type of fighter who would like to take her time to fiddle with her opponent, unless the situation was fatal.

Soo-ah shrugged, and stretched her body within the training ground. "Cutlass Prof!" She simply said, as she rotated her shoulder, and wrists. As well as using her eyes to estimate the space she has in the training ground.

Acting like a curious child, she touched the glass, lightly knocking on it, checking its durability. Who knows what she has in her mind right now. But one thing is for sure, Soo-ah doesn't plan on using her second pair of Edeya at the moment, as what would be the fun if she completely destroys her opponents?

Now.. what sort of play should she begin, Soo-ah mulled with a smirk that doesn't be good news in the slightest.

During the whole entire first assessment, just like everyone else, she never took her eyes of the training field. Despite the fact that the class and Andreal are separated by a glass wall, Soo-ah carefully observed the movements of both the Trolls and Andael like she was in 3rd pov. Doing mental activities, such as guessing their next movements, and their vital points ect.

Despite the fact that Soo-ah was slightly disappointed by the fact that Andael wasn't able to figure out the Troll's regenerative factor earlier, her combat effectiveness, overcame that disappointment.

Now that it was her turn, Soo-ah stepped up, and raised her hand. "Right here Prof! Soo-ah Lee ready to begin!" There was a small change in the air that surrounded Soo-ah. She was still relaxed, and had that same enigmatic twinkle in her eye. But perhaps it was because she was entering battle that something was different?

Soo-ah shrugged, that wasn't what she meant. But she supposed that how people with too much in their head function Soo-ah guessed. She didn't bother fixing the misunderstand that Andrael was having, there was a point too. It wasn't as if they were going to become close anyways.

As long as she keep up on her facade, whether if people find out if it was a facade or not doesn't matter. As along as she keep her act going and graduate. That was her only goal. So if anything, Andrael is only a small stepping stone in the long run that Soo-ah has to entertain.

Soo-ah waved her hand at Andreal and shook her head with a carefree smile. "No, no! You called it first, so it's only natural if Andreal goes first after all~"

Soo-ah's eyes narrowed slightly, as she declined Andreal's gesture with a flourish wave of her hands. Soo-ah's narrowed eyes, glinted enigmatically as she dead-eyed stared at Andreal, as if she was trying to gouge out the other's motive, only for a moment later to return to her usual prankster, dramatic self. Smiling brighter at the sarcastic provocation the other sent her way, Soo-ah winked glamorously.

"If Andreal says my enthusiasm is so contagious, then it must be true! Then, it makes even more sense, if Andreal went first, no?" Soo-ah giggled oh-so innocently.

THe interaction between the Professor and Saeha, was interesting, but it wasn't something that especially caught her eye. Afterall, their relation towards one another, wasn't any of Soo-ah's business. Instead, Soo-ah glanced at Andreal in curiosity.

Surprising, is what Soo-ah thought.

She thought that Andreal would wait for others to step up first, as she acted like the type of person who liked to observe the situation first, rather than initiating the action. Rather, doesn't it seemed more fitting if the air-head Soo-ah initiated first instead?

Now the opportunity was taken away by the out-of-character Andreal.

Soo-ah rested on of her hand on her smiling bottom lip, acting like she is seriously thinking. "Mmm.." There was a mischievous twinkle in her eye. That was never good news, when it came from Soo-ah.

Like the bad omen only spoke truth, Soo-ah stepped up and raised her hand and waved it toward the professor.

"Yo Prof! Mind if I go next?" Soo-ah smiled enthusiastically with her teeth shown, as she swung her hand energetically left and right, back and forth.
