Shine unwrapped himself from Riu with a sigh. "None of these dragons will hurt you... and even if they do, you resist dragon moves. Even though I could Sunny Day and Fire Blast you into oblivion if I wanted to..." The Dragonair then turned to the newly hatched Dratini. "Purple Dratini are rare. They're called shiny Dratini. Unfortunately, you cannot become shiny after being born." He explained the Dratini kindly.

Dratini nodded in mild disappointment.

"Thanks!" Victor said, catching the Pokedex. He sent Sirius to the lab, and brought over Shine. Victor had used a Premier Ball to capture Shine, which was well maintained with a star sticker attached to it.
He sent out the shiny Dragonair, who did a graceful pirouette before looking at his surroundings.

"Is it... Dragon's Den?" He asked in a whirl of emotions.
Shine was gathering a lot of interested looks from the wild Dratini and Dragonair because he was violet, wore an everstone neckless and was larger than most Dragonair due to not evolving.
