WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

I'm pretty sure at least some of you have participated in events like the Advent Calendar: you have to do something every day for 30 days, and if you don't miss any tasks you get a prize by the end of those 30 days.
This "contest" is basically the same idea - except art-related.
In this improvement challenge, each artist will have to produce at least one drawing a day - it can be a 15-minute sketch, a 14h drawing - as long as it's something. That is, as long it's not half-assed and completely rushed (like a stickman). There used to be a prize for everyone who completed all 30 days without fail, but nowadays I'm too busy to do it. ): So you guys will just have to settle for personal improvement.

RULES

2. While I'll do my best to avoid this as much as I can, it is possible that some of the tasks can be only - or more easily - completed when looking at semi-nude pictures. This is true for things such as anatomy and gesture drawings, which play one of the utmost importance roles in art. If you're uncomfortable with this or any other daily theme, please message me privately and let me know.

3. This is not a place to showcase your art and ask for compliments; it's a place for improvement. So no whining about how no one told you your art is pretty.

4. Please remember this is still a PG-13 site. If your art contains something that is not PG-13, message it to me privately instead of posting in this thread.

5.Art theft is not allowed in any way. If you're caught submitting someone else's art as your own, not only you'll be banned from this contest forever but you'll also be reported and dealt with accordingly.

If you want to participate, you MUST have a single post somewhere to gather your drawings. It can be your Journal or in this thread, it doesn't matter; the only requirement is to put every single drawing of your current challenge in that same post.

HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK

Every day, me or the other thread mods - I accept volunteers - will post a new theme for the day. You will then proceed to draw a picture with that theme in mind - it can be all kinds of art, you can take as long as you want, it can be coloured or black and white, it doesn't matter - as long as you've produced something that day. Some of the themes may be a little vague (for example, "Tree"). When that happens, don't worry too much about it - be CREATIVE! As long as there's even a minimal mention of the theme in the picture, your drawing is still valid (in this case, something like a Bonsai in someone's cluttered room. Idk.)

Just keep in mind:
Submissions are only allowed until RESET SERVER TIME.

There will be NO TOLERANCE. Once reset happens, if you haven't posted your drawing yet, it's not considered "on time" anymore - it'll be considered as "late" instead.

Whenever you have a drawing ready for that day, let us know somehow that you've finished it and updated your single post. You can post the image itself in the thread, you can post a link to your single post, you can PalPad me/one of the thread mods - your choice. Just let us know.
I will keep track of people and their challenges in this chart - you're the boss of your own name, though. Whenever you're done with a drawing, please update the chart.

And remember, if you cheat you're only cheating yourself, not me - besides, it's not like it really matters that much? It's just a way to keep track of your combo of days. So don't be a kid, woman/man up, and face the fact that you skipped a day or that you turned something in late. You're the one who decides what you're actually going to do for that theme and how much you want to improve. I just give you a little push with the themes.

There was a prize, but there isn't anymore. Sorry. :'D I got no time for this, or anything else in my life right now, since I'm officially a professional animator and I'll start a job soon.

I've been spending some time in the Safari Zone lately, and I noticed a few patterns:

1. I tend to run out of Poffins before I run out of Pokeballs.
2. Sometimes, when I do run out of Poffins, there's still quite some time left in the Safari (over two minutes)
3. Sometimes the "hover for hotkeys" box gets in the way when trying to catch Pokemon that show up on the bottom of the screen.

I've been thinking about it, and I came up with a couple suggestions:

1. I'm suggesting either increasing the number of Poffins (50-55 instead of 40) or decreasing the number of Pokeballs (15 to 10). That would even out the things a little bit more, since I have never ran out of Pokeballs while still with a bunch of Poffins.

2. There could be a button to exit the Safari. The only way to exit the Safari right now is to either wait out until the timer runs out, or to run out of Pokeballs. Since I'm usually left with 7-8 Pokeballs at a time, without any Poffins to spare, and there's over two minutes left in the timer, I try and use up the Pokeballs (by throwing them into nothingness). There's always a chance of accidentally throwing it at a random Pokemon - and I wouldn't want to break my chain because of it).

3. Instead of having the box with hotkeys INSIDE the Safari playing area, have it UNDERNEATH. That way, it wouldn't get in the way of Pokemon you're trying to catch that show up mostly at the bottom of the screen, and in case you forget a hotkey (somehow) they'll always be there.
Something like this maybe?

You know when you wanna gift a plushie to someone, so you go into their collection to see which plushies they're missing? Then you can proceed to click one of the missing plushies and it'll lead you directly to the Dream World shop, where you can just hit "Send gift" after checking if you have enough DP.
You can't really do that with the plushies the person already owns, only the ones they're missing.

My suggestion is to make ALL plushies clickable under "collections", not just the ones people are missing.

It's not entirely necessary, but I think it'd be easier to gift plushies to people. Saves some time when you figure out that the plushie you want to gift has already been gifted before by someone else, or you don't have enough DP; so if the person is hoarding a specific plushie, for example, you could just click on said plushie to send one of those instead (without having to go back to their profile, clicking on "Gift plushie", finding the plushie in the shop, yadda yadda).
