✩Diary 9:

Rebecca's grown a bit bigger, she's the size of a medium dog now. But that's not the main reason I'm writing today. Dad's coming back home today!! He's back from sailing a big ship around the world and he's gonna stay with us for three months!! That's wonderful, excellent news! Now all we need is Bobo and there'll be all four of us again! Hm, five of us maybe since Rebecca is a part of this now. I wonder if Dad'll like Rebecca. He seemed to love Honey and Dorae so he should be overjoyed to see her. Plus, Rebecca is an extremely well-behaved lil' snail. She doesn't run off into the sun or leap onto people. But then again, Dad might not be so happy to see that I took up the empty pen for a medium snail. Well, I'm betting on Happy Dad, can't wait till' he comes home!!

✩Diary 9.1:

Mom says we can pick dad up from the port this afternoon!! We're gonna catch a carriage there and wait till the ship docks. I don't wanna leave Rebecca at home, someone might steal her or the Ducks might be mean to her. So I'm gonna bring her along. Just like the Library, our whole town loves Snails so she'll be allowed at the Port. Plus, she's extremely well behaved so she'll just sit in my lap the whole ride. Mom says I should maybe bring her in a big bowl with some water in it but I'm a bit worried it might spill on the ride. Well, we just have to see how it goes!

✩Diary 9.2:

Almost gonna go!! Mom's getting ready and I'm going as I am. No point looking dapper if I'm just gonna stay in the carriage. I've decided to hold Rebecca the whole time. That way she won't get lost or jump out the carriage! I'm gonna bring a bottle of water too so that if she gets too dried out, I'll just lean over the side of the road and pour it on her. I'm not sure if she'll need it cuz she was able to stay moist when we were at the library for a long time. I'm gonna comb my hair, get Rebecca and wait for Mom. I think it'll take five more minutes (Mom takes a long time to get ready)

✩Diary 9.3:

Dad was really mean to Rebecca. So first of all, we had to wait some more because the Ship had been delayed, so I spent the whole time talking to Rebecca. I talked to her about Peacocks, they're so pretty and their feathers look like eyes. I'm surprised no one's made a Peacock God/Goddessona or some peacock fantasy species in their books. Like, the more eyes a Peacock's tail has, the stronger the chara is. Anyways, getting sidetracked. So when dad showed up, he had to get in the back with me (and Rebecca) and he saw her and was like '??? What the heck is that' EXCUSE YOU DAD THAT IS YOUR NEW DAUGHTER THAT'S WHAT. Rebecca spit water at him and I don't think she likes him at all. They're gonna have to learn how to bond.

As they were speaking, a trail of fire travelled between their legs. It leapt onto a table near Rhuna and disappeared, turning into a card and a plate of chocolate. The card had 'Get well soon!!!' written aggressively on it with little hearts and smileys all over the place.
