he brought his free hand up and attempted to do something, but all he got was a couple sparks that represented his nature and light power's color wise.

when Jasper got outside there were a few animal's were focused on Umbra while there's stayed back to wait to see if there was anything that they could possibly do, and off to the side there were a couple laying on the ground with slight steam rolling off them, which meant Umbra had already taken care of them.
Umbra hissed out in pain as one of the animal's grabbed a hold of his right arm with it's jaws and tried to tug him down, but he placed his other hand on it's head and zapped it, causing it to let go and fall to the ground.
he leaped up and spun as he launched into the air, a dark thunder cloud forming underneath him as he floated out of they're reach.

	he had given her a rather confused look when she mentioned her first sentence, but it was her last one was what made him freeze. Mango watched her leave and went to catch her hand but she was already gone by the time he turned, staring into the empty space she vanished into as tear's started welling up in his eyes, he was frozen in place and was left with hardly any words at all. once the dome had shattered all noise swiftly reached them and all they could hear was wind and the sound of Umbra's enraged screeching as he tried to yell for Jasper and Belle while fighting off a few of the animal's that had besieged the cabin.

Maxwell's eyes were wide with absolute terror as Dawn dragged him along into the forest, not even looking back to see what was going on and simply focused on keeping up with her.
''w-what happened? what happened's when you two stepped outside?!'' he asked, demanding an answer now.

''technically my uncle was the only one in the picture for a while.... my parents were always busy with work, my uncle was my whole world cause he was the only one there for me....... it was nice that they dropped they're work and started jobs that they could do at home after he passed away but...'' she muttered, growing silent as she looked down and tear's started trickling down her face again.
Ivy sniffled and trembled slightly, scooting closer to Elli before she hugged him and buried her face into his shoulder, just wanting to be close to someone to try and fully calm down.

Magnolia looked down for a moment and thought, then looked back up at her shook her head.
''i've tried asking before but he didn't seem comfortable about telling me where he used to live... that's kind of why i stuck with just assuming... anyway, he's twenty two, he said he was the same age i am currently when we first met, so he's five year's older than me'' she said, brushing a few brown strands of hair out of her face.
she stood up and kept a hand on Wither's arm for a bit of balance, then let go once she got her balance.
''i've known Kurai for five year's Wither, he's my best friend.... i trust him with every fiber of my being, if he's hiding anything from me he probably has a good reason for hiding it...... now i'm gonna go freshen up..'' Magnolia mumbled, then headed off to use the restroom that was in Lucius' room.

Lucius was sitting in his chair at his rather large work space leaning back and tuning what looked like a spruce wood guitar while he waited for the results of the test's he was running.
he hummed softly as he played a few note's to check if they were tuned right and swayed his tail, seeming rather relaxed despite there being two stranger's he recently met standing in his room.
''there is a sofa in the corner over there if you wanna make yourselves comfy, or there is a sofa closer to my work space if you wanna chat with me'' he said, not even looking over at them since he was focused on his guitar.

Mango had looked at her a bit worried when she had her forehead on his shoulder, but the moment she heard her speak and listened, he perked up and his ear's perked forward.
he watched her pull away from the hug and his heart just melted at seeing her grow bashful, his gaze softening.
he leaned down slightly as he softly placed a hand on her cheek and pressed a feather light kiss to the corner of her lips, then pulled away as the blush on his face finally flushed a deep red.
''if it hand't been obvious... i've actually had strong feeling towards you myself..... i've.. just been to scared to openly tell you, in fear of making things awkward between us..'' he murmured softly, but loud enough for her and her alone to hear.

he tsked and in the sphere's holding her hands in place forced her hands open and kept her hands that way, so she couldn't escape.
''Jasper wouldn't have trusted me to help get answer's out of the kid if he didn't know what i was capable of.... you and Justin pulling this stunt is enough to get me on his good side once i tell him everything'' Umbra said, pulling his hand back while chuckling.
he looked over and summoned a shadow minion, who waddled over and offered up one of the syringes Belle kept in the barn that was about half full, just enough to neutralize Dawn's power's and leave her powerless.

''so how about you go relax in the barrier and see if you can find the kid, it'll make this so much easier for me later'' he said, sliding a bit of her sleeve up before injecting the fantasy power neutralizer into her, then rubbed where he stuck her arm to make it work quicker.
he tossed the syringe up into the air and it vanished into thin air, then he grabbed her arm and threw her at the barrier, which she fazed through and fell to the ground.
once she was inside, the barrier fully solidified and stayed that way, Umbra then headed for the house while wiping away the blood trail that was on his chin.

Crystal nodded and slowed just enough to grab his hand and decided to let him lead her along, preferring to follow since she couldn't lead the way to anywhere.
''we should have enough money to last us a few days.... the weapon salesmen was fairly generous when i sold most of my father's weapon's to him... honestly i didn't want to sell them but it made travelling easier, i kept the dagger he gave me plus a couple other daggers that i have on my belt'' she said.

he listened to her speak and the moment he seen hee smile shift to a genuin one and heard her soft laugh, his heart fluttered and the faint blush on his face darkened a shade, smiling brightly as a soft purr rumbled in his throat.
''i'm... glad you like it Silver..... heh, i would've been a little upset if you didn't'' Mango teased, playfully pinching her arm lightly before he pulled her into a hug.

Ivy had slowly calmed down when he had set his hand on her shoulder's and listened, straightening as she sniffled and used her jacket sleeves to dry her face off.
''he treated me as if i was his own daughter..... i wish you could've met my uncle, you would have liked him'' she said.
she paused though once she heard the sound of him ripping up her letter, and started to reach out to stop him but it was already to late by the time she reached out to grab his wrist.
Ivy shifted around to where she was on her knee's and started looking through remains before grabbing a strip of the letter that remained untouched and pulled something that was folded up out of it, holding it close to her heart before stuffing it into her jacket pocket.

@Liirah the Coatl and Wildclaw both look like literal candy canes omg, they're both gorgeous! if i had the room and gems i'd probably just nab them both lol, but i'm trying to curb my habit of impulse buying dragons that are like those two or like the ones i currently have on page 3 (Camellia, Crow, and Iris) for example, but i hope you find all those dragons loving homes Liirah~

@Furret that Coatl baby is adorable, the soft color with the bold blue/purple opal gene is so pretty~

i still need to attempt getting a few for future dragons, though i think they should've made eye types that are like the vial ones maybe something that can be passed down? would be a cool mechanic to the site, and i would've lost it if my current nest that i just hatched, one got goat eyes, that would've been the biggest RNG hatch in the entire world, sadly they've only got rare eyes.... which was still a surprise that all 3 hatchlings got the rare eye type 0.0

Crystal listened to him and sighed softly at his little rant, smiling a little as she dismissed it, since she pretty much agreed about the kingdom being corrupt.
though once he asked about where they should go next her smile faded and she pinned her ears back, the thought never really crossing her mind at the time since she was focused on trying to get her wound looked at.
''i honestly don't know.... maybe find some shelter, like an abandoned house..... we need to hold onto whatever money we have until we get outside the walls...'' she muttered.

Mango had stepped out of the way so Silver could do what she needed and gave a fairly small smile, a hint of sadness entering his olive green gaze.
''so no talking you out of leaving then huh....? i figured as much since you ran off so quickly....'' he muttered, ear's drooping slightly, not enough to notice right off the bat anyway.
he was getting straight to the point rather than delaying the inevitable like she was.

Mango pulled the small box out of his pocket that was had a neatly tied bow on in and held it out to her, a small blush dusting over his face.
''if you really are leaving, then at least take a parting gift to remember me by....'' he said softly.
