You should give it a try before saying you can't do it. ouo
You can simplify your stuff a little bit though. Like. Pile of clothes? No need to draw all of them. Pencils, papers, whatever? Don't bother

I'm procrastinating again so I'ma post the next theme half an hour early and turn off the internet or something. :'D I have something to turn in in a couple of hours.
You guys still have till reset to post your Day 4 drawing if you haven't yet~

Day 5
Your room

Ya'll probably gonna hate me so I'm gonna disappear as soon as I post this kthx
Today the challenge is an ACTUAL challenge; a really important one.
Using one point perspective, draw your room as detailed as you can. Don't be afraid of using rulers or straight objects - in fact, they are REQUIRED. I want to SEE those vanishing points and perspective lines there.
I found this great tutorial that goes pretty much in depth with everything, so you guys can kind of follow it and study it on your own.
By the end of the day, your drawing should look like this: [x]

Nah, just kidding.
Like this maybe.
Try and put as many details as you can, and watch out for the forms and everything.
Just remember: Vertical lines are always going to be straight, and NOT in perspective, unless you have a high/low camera angle or an object that is not really straight.
If you're doing digital art, you can put the perspective lines on another layer and use another color on them if you want. For traditional artists, it'd also be a good idea to use a different coloured pencil if available (crayons, coloured pencils, pens, anything really that's not black or gray).

HAVE FUN kbye don't kill me

I'll look up some foreshortening tutorials and stuff and give them to you when I find something good. I remember seeing a really good one some time ago, but idk if I'll be able to find it again. D: I lost it when my HDD died >:

Im glad my critique and stuff are helping ;-; <3

Day 4
Single Line

For today's challenge, to make you guys get used to not erasing stuff and drawing continuous lines, you're gonna use one single line in the entire drawing.
Get a picture of an object or a person (or the object itself, whatever you wanna do) and draw it, using a pen, without taking the pen out of the paper. Here's an example.
Don't worry about it looking good. It WILL look weird. The only reason I can do it half-decent is because I practiced. lol The more of these you guys do, the merrier (I'd usually do 5-10 at a time), especially if you have issues with serrated lines (Nessy and Rini, I'm looking at you)

I only did days 1 and 2, I wanna do everyone together for day 3 and stuff.
I might do the critiques like once or twice a week though because they take quite a lot of time, even with me just talking instead of typing. ouo If that's alright with you guys.
also i hope my english is understandable omfg

sorry i got sidetracked, ended up watching Gordon Ramsay videos on Youtube OTL

A note to everyone
(working on the rest of the critiques now)

Do you guys prefer that I give you critiques everyday, or once a week or something? I don't really mind either. They're just going to be shorter/longer depending on what you choose.

@Midnight Sketching with pens is actually good practice. You should try and get used to it sometime. :3

@Twin Most people I know usually sketch with blue (me included). It's pretty easy to just desaturate the color and have it black or dark gray, especially if you're using Photoshop. But if you don't wanna use colors, you can always try and sketch with gray, or even in black and lower the layer opacity.

I hope the critiques were useful guys ;-; I'll get to the rest of you when I can, which is most likely tomorrow morning. I have 8h of class nonstop today and I'll probably pass out as soon as I get home. :'D
