Yeah, I believe that the only banners that Ningguang has 'been on', had an increased rate, was Childe's first banner and the Keqing banner we had before/after Xiao (I think?)

She was also in the store for star glitter in March ~~but does anyone actually buy characters from there?~~

The only reason I have her on C2 is that I got her as the free character during the Lanture Rite event - definitely do not regret it

“I wonder where the sun has disappeared to these days..?”

Sighing, red-orange eyes stared from the window, watching as the murky clouds that loomed over Mondstadt slowly drifted by. Greeted by yet another gloomy morning this week, Cornelia was beginning to miss being awoken by the sun's warm rays kissing her dappled skin. But certain that the grim weather would soon pass, she wasn't about to let it dampen her spirits. Besides, she had received a commission today, which meant that there was no time to waste moping about!

The clattering of porcelain, as it shattered, sounded from the floor below, loud enough to cause the blonde to flinch. Immediately after, came the panicked apologies of another female whom Cornelia was quick to point the finger of blame at. It was a common occurrence here - perhaps a little too common for the place to keep affording. But when the culprit was as adorable as she was, it was difficult to not let her off the hook. Besides, what Mora it would cost to replace a mere plate, was very little, compared to the amount of Mora they would likely lose if they were to release the one who brought the life to the restaurant, especially with the Windblume Festival coming up.

Cornelia chuckles to herself at the thought, half-heartedly, whilst tugging on her tangerine-coloured body warmer and zipping it up. Her parents had opened up the restaurant seven years ago (ever since her family moved to Mondstadt from Liyue) but business had always been somewhat slow. Successful, but slow. However, it wasn't until 'she' arrived, about a year ago, that business began to really pick up.

The petite, pink-haired girl had travelled alone, all the way from Inazuma to the city of Freedom, with the dream of being a bard, or some kind of idol (each time Cornelia questioned her, the girl didn't seem too sure herself). But that in itself took a massive amount of courage, considering the current circumstances with Inazuma and the Electro Archon. It was this confidence and spunky energy that radiated from her which forced the hands of Cornelia's parents to offer the young traveller a part-time job as a waitress to support herself, as well as a roof over her head. In turn, it was this same energy that attracted their, now loyal, customers. However, in the eyes of Cornelia, the girl wasn't just another of her parent's employees.

Rather, it was as if they were long lost sibling and the two had now been reunited.

"By the grave, I see the sakura storm, through which came sweeping, sweeping, sweeping..." Cornelia sings with a smirk plastered on her face as she descends into the restaurant's front-of-house. The family's home had been converted so that the main living space was located directly above their business. It was somewhat more convenient than having a separate building, but customers could become a little loud after a few drinks into their stay. Cor Lapis coloured eyes were quick to locate the crime scene, landing on the girl several feet away with a broom in her hands."...up, yet another, of Mama's Liyuean plates. Oh, Otoka! Good morning~"

Turning her head to look over her shoulder, Otoka shoots an icy glare at the entertained blonde, "It was an accident, okay! Clearly, I didn't mean for it to slip out of my hand."

"Again?" Cornelia questions, folding her left arm around herself as her right index finger taps against her jaw, as if in deep thought, "Hmm... I think we've replaced every single dish since you've started working here."

She knew just how to rile up the youngster, watching intently as Otoka's jaw briefly clenched forming a scowl as if she'd just eaten a sour sunsettia. Her brows furrowed, forehead creasing, and the contraction of her cheeks - now a shade of red from embarrassment or even rage - caused her baby blue eyes to squint even further.

"Mom! Cora's teasing me again!" Otoka growls, irritated.

The tables had turned and now it was the other's turn to tense up, "Aha, w-wait! I was only joking-"

"Cornelia Fēi." She swallows thickly, as she was interrupted, a sheepish grin spreading across her face as she spies her mother peering out from the kitchen area with an unamused expression. Her mother never used her full name, only ever 'Cora', which had derived from simply shortening 'Cornelia', as well as a sort of reference to her mother's recently favourite gemstone. That was, unless, there was about to be a lecture. "How about we leave Otoka alone now. I thought you had a commission today?"

"Ah, yes. Today I'm wanted in Springvale, actually." Cornelia confirms, in a matter-of-fact-ly tone. "A group of Pyro Slimes have been spotted by the hunters nearby and they would like them redirected. That being said, I-I should probably be on my way! Like, right now!"

With a nervous chuckle, Cornelia had already inched herself towards the front door, readying for her great escape.

"Then please ensure that you're back for dinner, otherwise you'll be having cold soup. And, for Barbatos' sake, stay safe."

"Always mama! Love you! And, I guess, you too, Otoka-chan. I'll be going now!" Cornelia flashes a toothy grin and throws up a peace sign, before slipping out of the door and disappearing into the city's streets. Otoka, on the other hand, resumes sweeping up the shards of broken pottery, muttering something along the lines of 'stupid corn head' under her breath after she was certain that her tormentor had, in fact, left.

•─────⋅☾ A Predator’s Perception ☽⋅─────•
{Modern / Fantasy}

Redfield, as it's notoriously named, is a sleepy town in the northwest of England.
Surrounded by nature, it is just a few miles away from the Lake District's national park.
According to the latest census, it now habits just over five thousand residents with mixed heritages.
However, only the oldest of its residents know of its disturbing backstory as others would only laugh in disbelief.

As for how Redfield was given its name - well - it was originally raised in the early 1500's to be a logging community.
However, soon after it set off, the people there were brutally slaughtered, their blood painting the land for miles around.
The found evidence concluded that they had been attacked by a group of large canine-like creatures.
Despite wolves being deemed extinct - or rare, at least - it had been ordered for the creatures to be hunted down and killed.

After the Redfield case, there were several more incidents alike scattered across England.
Sightings of 'larger than normal' wolves had also been reported, coincidently in the same areas of the attacks.
When a group finally returned, hauling with them the lifeless body of a half-man-half-wolf-like thing, worry set in.
It was like something one could only envision in their nightmares, just how long had they been co-existing with these beasts?

It's now the 21st century and werewolves - as they've been deemed - are nothing but a myth.
But still, there are descendants of the most successful hunters who proudly, but discreetly, continue their practices to this day.
For some werewolves, they've betrayed the old-fashioned pack lifestyle and have learnt to blend in with humans.
They are, arguably, protected by the naivety of the common folk.

It's a new year for the students of Redfield College of Higher Education and whilst its seniors are readying themselves for their final exams later in the year, it's become slightly more complicated for the local teen-wolves.
This particular year, the blood moon falls upon the date of the exams, and with the wolves quickly approaching adulthood, the chances of them suddenly flipping are greatly increased, which, in turn, would cause huge problems for those around them.
Meanwhile, this could be a gold mine of an opportunity for the juvenile hunters.

consider this: I have a tad bit more confidence in this RP- c':

With tourists from all over the other nations migrating in to take part in the festivities,
This year’s Windblume Festival is said to be Mondstatd’s largest.
However, as the hours go by, the sky gradually fills with an eerie darkness,
And, suddenly-
The city of freedom becomes its protector’s target.

It's only when the dragon flees,
that the storm reduces to a strong breeze,
and although battered by the beast's gales,
everything seems to be at ease.
However, all but a handful of Visions are now dead.

While the Abyss quickly grows stronger, there's no sign of the Archons.
How the Visions suddenly died, remains a mystery.
But it's now left up to the remaining Vision wielders to clean up the mess and rid Teyvat of the advancing monsters.
Perhaps they'll find answers along the way.
