The stars are dimmed, and the moon's rays dapple the mottled tree branches...

There's a rumour in your hometown.

The moon's craters blink subtly, as the stars twinkle gently....

About a curious yearly circus, that its performers came to the ringleader, The Jester, in times of dire need and fathom.

An owl's sombre hoot calls out into the night's blackening reach...

He helps you out of whatever situation you're in, the peculiar man who had a flower for an eye, derived of chlorophyll.

She looks over the earth with her piercing eyes, from his position on the point of the big top.

His arms are scarred from thorny vines that once bound them, and he agrees to help you out for the sign of a contract; signing your soul to the circus for an eternity to come.

A periwinkle bow tied to keep his kimono neat.

It's risky, but rewarding as said by those who survive, as he grants you the gift of magic.

And she crawls down at the sight of another lifeforms.

And unfortunately, you're about to find out that these aren't just rumours.
